Its a positive sign for crypto market that Btc surpassed $72k milestone but do you realize that top altcoins are in trouble? I agree those top altcoins were also pump but not that much what they had pumped as well as recorded ath in 2021 when btc price was around $67k something. Now what is happening?

That's pretty normal, no? They were at their ATH before and it takes quite some time to go back to that price range, if the price is lower than ATH that doesn't mean it's in trouble and you are pretty sure just overpanicking over normal stuff in cryptocurrency. Stuff like Doge was raising because the influence of Elon Musk but now once the hype is declining then you will see the "real" price there.

Just wait till halving to see what happens next.

Bitcoin will usually pump first during bull runs and will be followed by altcoins later on. The trends today are not the same as they were in 2021. There was a lot of hype behind NFTs and DeFi back then. Today the hype is with Bitcoin ETFs and AI. Meme coins are also performing well right now but they are generally bad investments and I expect them to go back down by 90% in the next bear market.

Whenever BTC is pumping in the market other altcoins will begin to pump and dominate too for people to also feel the same thing from them in the same market, but some altcoins are not pumping in this bull run doesn't mean they will not going to pump before the end of this year, and When the time for those coins price to go down, they will go down for those that saw the good moved in this bull run will rush to invest on them when the price is low because they will dominate when another season that will make them to dominate occur.

Some coins only performed so well previously because of manipulation. Without the same support to back them it will be hard for them to reach a new all time high.

ADA, LINK, and DOGE are among the coins that are not performing well in this season, but their customers believe that they will going to perform well in the future based on what they have displayed last 3 years to create opportunity for their customers to earn through out the season.

These kind of words or sentiments are common from those people who dont have that much experience towards the market. They didnt make out some realization that if you do tend to look at on the current prices then
everything is really that declining on a bear market and there's no exemption to that specially into those old top altcoins which they had dropped down their price in compared into their ATH on which it is really that
a normal thing. Its true that this market does have its cycle and we might be seeing that correction is on negative but once the market would really be having that shift then we would really be seeing
new all time highs. Top coins are in trouble? No one really knows and this what makes it even more harder to make up decisions.

This is why you would really be needing these kind of considerations on the time that making up some investment. It would really be your choice which
on what are the decisions you would really be making as of this moment.

Op Market isn't working that way as you use to think. And the real. Bullish market isn't started yet. Bitcoin growing higher and higher due to effect of ETF approval, what makes Bitcoin more easier to transaction, verification and increase security. That's why more people buying Bitcoin without hesitation, rather than altcoins. But it isn't true that top altcoins are in trouble. These are also pumped from their previous position and it'll be keep continue if Bitcoin keep growing . But today market suppose to going correction mood

to conclude it is too early and bitcoin has not reached its highest price so far in the altcoin phase starting with the top coins reaching the top in the current situation they will come back better when the halving is over I think we will find out because of the halving the reaction is like this altcoins are increasing rapidly It's really hard to believe now but there's no need to worry because there is a vase where the coins will increase in comparison before real progress can be seen.

Op i think you start comparison altcoins and Bitcoin price too early. Cause this is just a start. As we know, ETF was approvaled for Bitcoin, that's why several organizations as well as many investors make themselves include with Bitcoin as bitcoin become turns into better version now. That's why its pumping so hardly. Top altcoins you mentioned, will also have time to increase. Still there is time this whole year is available when bull will also start leading altcoins market. Well, looking at the development of the Bitcoin price which reached its ATH a few months ago, very few altcoins have reached their new ATH too. However, I think that real developments and conclusions can be seen in 2025. However, I am quite sure that the long-awaited increase in altcoin prices has not yet arrived. in my opinion BTC ETF does affect altcoin and the altcoins that has been rising so good if you're observant enough among them is some of bitcoin layer 2 which supposedly have relation with bitcoin such as stacks and so on.
these coin when BTC ETF was approved are also rising, simply put it does affect some altcoin but not all altcoin, though the market greed level back then when the news of ETF was coming out first are getting high and thats I think the trigger that cause the price of bitcoin to be rising beyond its all time high far surpassing many people's expectation.
overall its such a good news that the market is turning for the better, now that halving has been done, i'm expecting that the market will grow quite high in the future, even right now market has recovered from the sudden price correction.

Even if the bull run isn't very long, we are at least optimistic for it and we expect at least something. Most people in the market are hoping that Bitcoin might hit $100k at least, some say it might go to $150k and beyond and mark this bull run as the most significant bull run we have seen in the market so far.

The market isn't up that much for now, but as soon as Bitcoin starts going up, I'm pretty sure that top altcoins will follow its movements. I do and it's quite strange to see that, The majority of tokens were touching the new ATH were meme tokens. Even utility tokens looked like a useless token at this moment. Things have been changing a lot and less demand gone to the altcoins. As you can see how bitcoin was always eating altcoin's dominance.

We are not yet seeing altcoins get the same demand like 2021. Things may be changing a lot but who knows if the big bull run will happen next year.

We just need to wait for Bitcoin rally to start post while we will see surge in the value of Altcoins as we have seen this in the past but I have a different opinion on your pointer that during ETF approval Altcoin's demand was not there because we had seen some massive surge in value of Altcoins during those days when Bitcoin spot ETF was approved. I think we may have to wait for some more time for bullrun to start.

Is bullrun not happening now? 
As far as I know, we are in bullrun season although many crypto coins don't reach ATH yet. Reaching ATH isn't the exact sign of a bullrun season, it is just a part of something hapening in bullrun season. If we look at the price continues to grow, it is a sign of bullrun. This actually happened since the early year, we already have the bullrun season since the early year.

I think Bitcoin ETF has nothing to do with bullrun season. Even with no Bitcoin ETF, we still can experience the bullrun season.

investing in altcoins is a big risk, just look at the cases of many altcoins that 4 years ago had very high prices and today, even with a big increase in the price of bitcoin, they haven't gone up much, it's really sad, for example people who bought Litecoin when it was priced above $200 and at that time the price of Bitcoin had risen a lot, but it fell a lot and with that it dragged down Litecoin, as people in the cryptocurrency market believe that as long as they don't sell, they won't be at a loss , so I believe that people who bought Litecoin at the price of $200 must not have sold when the price dropped a lot to the point of reaching 50%

Op i think you are calculating them too quickly as bull session is still yet to started. That was commom chart of these altcoins in Crypto market where they are seen as lower position but they have still space to raise up if bull session come in altcoins industry. Only bitcoin is flying now. So don't need to worry about them rather, you can purchase your favorite altcoins if you want. But it also true that, these altcoins won't pump as same as previous bull runs. They could be lower or could be more expensive.
