What is testnet? testnet is an action for carrying out network testing that will be launched on a particular network project, and this time I will tell you how to carry out a testnet at the testnet prom. I'm not part of the prom team, I'm purely telling you how to do it, and I hope we can benefit from doing this testnet like other testnet that already give some people profit. So Let's start !

1. Connect/ Add RPC to Metamask

Chain Name: Prom Testnet
RPC URL: https://testnet-rpc.prom.io/
Chain ID: 97072271
Token Name: PROM
Block Explorer URL: https://testnet.promscan.io/

2. Request Faucet

Open : https://faucet.prom.io/

and then, connect your wallet and paste your address, and click the "GET TOKENS"

Note : Every 10 Hours you only can get 0.25 $Prom

3. Do Explore the testnet site

You can explore anything there about any activities, for now that's the only thing that you can do, or maybe you can do transfer your $prom token to your other adress to get more activities on the chain. The dev said that other Testnet like Dapps is ongoing to be ready to be tested, so wait for the update, and I will give update about the prom testnet for you guys in this thread.

PROM Listing Price?

Prom Tokens listing price was 0.1 i think.
It went as high as $12 this year and now when the market is all red it is still holding around $5.
So investing into $PROM was a smart move.

Just to make sure you you asked the right question, I'd like to point out that $PROM listing price has nothing to do with current testnet and planned mainnet launch.
Remember, that mainnet launch is not same as TGE.
The TGE for $PROM happened back in 2019 and it was (and still is) listed on all major exchanges, including Binance.
But the token did not have it's own network.
Now this is going to change soon.
Mainnet is about to be launched almost any day now.
You can only imagine how high the token price will skyrocket!

So participating in testnet campaign activities is actually a smart move.
One who takes part in testnet campaign and zealy campaign will get a chance to get a DAO role.
To make it short, this DAO role will allow user to share a % of network profits and can be quite profitable.

Kindly be aware that last week the Prom Team announced a release of a crucial update to the testnet.

So the testnet is down and it is a normal temoporary situation.
The reason?
It's undergoing maintenance to transition to the next version.

This marks the beginning of the second phase of the testnet, moving the project closer to the highly anticipated mainnet launch.

The technical maintenance may extend over the coming days.
Once complete, the second phase of the testnet will commence, expected to run for a few weeks.
And after that?
You guessed it—mainnet launch!

Over the next few days, you may experience occasional issues, such as glitches or trouble viewing your test balance.
Rest assured, all progress is secure and preserved.
