As we have seen since the beginning of the year, airdrops have appeared every day, even the trend that airdrops have is beyond experts' expectations, every airdrop that appears can dominate the market with very attractive exchanges. The various analyzes and predictions that we read this year are like the year of the airdrop where many people switched from being bounty hunters to being tempted to hunt for airdrops that produce fast results, even though some of them are scams, at least there are still tokens that have been collected successfully on the market.

I think this year in crypto is literally different from the rest. I don't know if it's just me. But do you guys notice that there have been a lot of airdrops done lately by wallets? It all started with JUP then I think it was maybe they're trying to mimic the way Uniswap did when they launched but it seems very different this year. I was going through my notifications as I do usually in the evening then I saw this news popped out. Lol, never did it occur to me that Bitget will have their wallet token more or less giving an airdrop for it...

I mean, I know I am very familiar with their exchange like I do with other exchanges (Binance and Bybit) and they're known for so many events but when it comes to wallet, I never give it much thought.

The actual truth is that, this year is totally different from most year that you will mine and hunt for airdrop, and at the very end, it will all end in disappointment, though on my own part, I gave up on airdrop last year, when I did Islamic coin and venom airdrop, I did everything that was expected of me but when the day for the distribution reach, I was not qualified as one of the beneficiaries, so I wash my hands of anything airdrop because the stress and the wasting of my data in doing their task, and at the very end, I was totally disappointed, so I just stop doing it till date.

Though this year to be precise, some good airdrop activities has already taken place which they paid a whole lot of people that participated, project like Not coin, dogs,etc and I believe that before the year comes to an end, more projects will pay participants good amount of money, project like blum and hamster, an quite positive on that.

Agreed there was lots of crypto-airdrop starting from Notcoin and so many others. The recent airdrop i got was dogs also blum and others are on the way soon everyone should take the opportunity to earn as much as they can during the year and earn as much free tokens as we can its crypto nobody knows what will happen next.

The difference in telegram airdrops lately, is the short possibility of investing, because most of the projects are only requiring to complete tasks, inviting friends but no feature  for investing money inside the project or presale for their token. The team distribute the tokens upon ranks and amount of points. Which makes the rewards almost the same for everyone and that’s why whales are against these airdrops.
Some investors are buying the tokens and coins of these Airdrops minutes after the listing and price drop significantly, so they take their chances to buy low and sell later when the price goes up again. However, this method is risky and doesn’t go well most of the time.
We are waiting for more Telegram airdrops paying out and listing, so far I have witnessed two Airdrops, I have collected good rewards when it comes to the time I have spent and efforts.

My friend once got scammed by an airdrop project. He linked a wallet specifically for the airdrop project and he already had a few hundred dollars from the previous airdrop. I don’t know if he didn’t recognize the scam project or it was just his unlucky day. He linked his wallet to the airdrop and it turned out to be a hacking site. All his coins in the wallet were sucked. That’s the kind of hack I often hear about. That’s why it’s important to be very careful when joining an airdrop. You really have to check and stay alert on any airdrop project.

We already know we are having too many airdrops in this year with mostly are having main object is just scamming peoples, so things are always on risk if someone is linking his wallet with these projects for the free money.

If someone wants to join these airdrops he needs to work hard and do some search before joining because this can give him better result otherwise we can't stop these scammers from stealing our money as they are greedy and have no other plan then doing things like these.

Usually after having some successful thefts scammers done this and bring new ideas for having money from the newbies wallets, so this is not big deal we are having too many changes in these airdrops in last few years with mostly they are having good success rate in scamming.

In last two to three years, I never have any solid successful airdropped who have good luck and done good deal with this mostly peoples are crying after scammed and having problems into their wallets we need to be careful about this because no one can stop these, but we can bring safety cautious for ourselves.

Correct, such tap mining airdrops are different from other airdrops as like especially test net airdrops, where we need to invest some money to eligible in those airdrops, so everyone cannot participate in the paid airdrops, that's why now tap mining airdrops are going trendy because there are no investment, team don’t need to pre sale or IDO, and most exciting thing is 80-90% tokens for their community members, that's the fact to hype such telegram airdrops, their main focuses is only build their community as like social channels twitter,telegram etc.

People want free money because they get to earn without working but they don't know that free money isn't that free anymore because you would have to exchanged your time for the free tokens that you're getting and most times, they become worthless tokens that you can't use for anything. Airdrops are getting easier because we're in the bull market and many newbies have joined the market hence projects know this and they're capitalising on their innocence to use them to work  for free. Or they get pay very little amount and still get free promotions that if they wanted to make use of promotional platforms to do the advertising, they'll be spending more money than when they use Airdrops. The Airdrops are just avenues to give project free marketing so they're making it easier to attract more people that'll be willing to participate because they hope to be paid well but they don't.

Not only is it easy to get airdrops this year in the crypto space, but since the beginning the airdrop trend has continued to emerge, but very few airdrops will be successful. With so many airdrops appearing this year, the altcoin trend has given way to all markets being dominated by a series of airdrops. If this year is the year of airdrops, something new will definitely change and be able to beat altcoins, that's good news for us. My question is how easily we can get an airdrop, can we change our income more by following the airdrops that are currently appearing, most of the airdrops always attract members for the reason of big rewards but in the end after the free market the price drops.
What we want this year is that Bitcoin continues reaching a new ATH then the bull run occurs so that we all get the surprise we have been waiting for for a long time because not only can we predict but the market is too risky when it reverses direction.

How much tapping do those projects typically require?

I have watched for probably over a year now a thing called Avive, whose app on phone looks as if it should be a way to see who is geographically near you so you can potentially even meet up with them; but in this whole year or more none of that kind of potential works.

There is a map showing other folks in Nova Scotia are also on it.

But no apparent way to even see whether they are open to being contacted and no apparent way to configure my own online status such as whether I am currently open to contact attempts what kinds of topics I am or am not interested in being contacted about, or anything.

Basically in all this time it still seems to be just some kind of shill for twitter, like maybe they have a deal with twitter whereby they get paid for recruiting people into twitter; although of course it remains possible they do not even have such a deal with twitter yet or potentially ever and, rather, aim to gain just from the tweets those of their members who already have existing twitter accounts perform on their behalf.

That so called "airdrop" only requires that one click a "claim" button before 25 hours elapse since one last did so; if you do not click the amount you are going to get when you do finally get around to hitting that claim button will have been capped at what it had climbed to during those 25 hours.

So, only one click per day, no penalty for failure to click in time other than accumulation of points / credits / tokens (whatever one wants to refer to them as) stalls.

That is one extreme.

At another extreme are the "traffic exchanges" (TEs) in which in the manual ones involve viewing other people's ads in return for credits or partial credits toward your own ad getting put in front of another participant.

On some of those you are only allowed to click up X many credits per day, others you can totally "go to town" clicking all day every day.

You can upgrade things like the number of credits you earn per click, the number of seconds your ad gets shown for when it does get shown, the percent commissions you get when your referrals pay to upgrade and so on and so on.

Typically one chains such things together, building a so called "funnel" intended to "build downlines" in such component programmes and ultimately hopefully to make your entire marketing effort (since yes, by participating you are become an online marketer, typically largely in the make money from home in your pajamas type of niches) "self funding" in that optionally you can refrain from upgrading - refrain from paying, and in that field I do not mean "only paying gas fees or transaction fees" except if you chose to pay for internet access rather than use free internet access at libraries and cafes and such.

So, a spectrum of clicking for some kind of gain, from one click per 25 hours all the way to click as much as you choose, the more clicks the more potential gain...

...Where in such a spectrum do these recent telegram click for gain things typically fall?

I ask because I wonder whether maybe the typical amount of clicking is up to a range where participants would be better off, or maybe even far far better off, just "becoming an online marketer from home in pajamas" as it were...

Which to be honest seems to be what one is becoming in this recent trend anyway?

If you talk about easy, In 2016/2017 the most easier airdrop is just by filling a google form. Right now you need to interaction with the platform like (Testing, Activity Transaction, etc) comparing to old airdrop in the past (2016/2017)

While we just fill the form, and suddenly get the token.

currently airdrops have many tasks that are done, and almost need quite a lot of capital if you want to get a lot of coins, you could say that current airdrops are not 100% free, in the past if you spent funds it was usually abandoned by the community but now it seems to have become a requirement to be able to get airdrop coins
