Unfortunately YouTube doesn't offer a specific feature to disable or hide gambling videos entirely, so we need to combine few tips to eliminate everything related to gambling content.

Here on my Youtube account I receive several suggestions of gambling videos every time I log in. I have never tried to hide or avoid seeing those videos suggestions, because for me it doesn't make any difference. I even like to watch some videos from times to times for entertainment purposes, although they seem biased, since the gambler always win huge amounts of money in the end. Turning 3000$, for an example, into 10,000$-20,000$ dollars... It's fun to watch them, anyway.

But I guess for someone who wants to completly avoid such content, they should start clicking on the 3 dots on the right side, below the video, then "I have no interest" button. Consequently, the algorithm will understand you don't want to see that kind of content anymore, so it will appear to you less frequently or totally disappear from the suggestions' board, eventually.

People who don't want to see ads can also use Brave browser when accessing Youtube, instead of purchasing Youtube premium for that purpose.

What about the gambling ads that the YouTubers are advertising? You may be able to bypass the Google gambling ads on YouTube but you can not bypass the ads of the in there video contents.

I don't need youtube premium as brave browser could show me youtube videos without ads. I don't mind seeing gambling videos or ads in youtube but with this browser it makes me enjoy watching youtube videos without interruption coming from advertisements. Not sure why others are having problem with blocking ads when using the said browser could already solve it.

Since I found out that Brave can block those annoying ads I never watch YouTube on any other browsers, I also recommend that you use Brave to stop those ads from showing, and don't use any Gmail account for your search on YouTube Google will remember your preferences and they will bombard with you based on your searches.

It is better to use YouTube as a visitor but when accessing adult-related videos you still need Gmail so create at least two Gmail specifically for your searches.
But control is still very important I hope OP gets cured of his addiction so he'll have control of those ads that are showing on YouTube about gambling.

Although this is a good suggestion, I think it is quite difficult to completely change the rules to disable all gambling ads because casinos do not only advertise like this on one application or website but on all social media platforms that are reached by humans, But I will still support these tips and suggestions and maybe I will also slightly suggest to you or anyone to while building self-exclusion or other precautions apart from changing the rules on some social media to avoid gambling ad impressions, and my suggestion is that you can keep yourself busy with many other activities to distract yourself from gambling as well as limiting your association if for example you have a neighborhood that is very active in gambling.

That's right with Youtube Premium everything will be free of any ads, so so far Youtube has been premium so I don't mind.

Honestly speaking, ads are used to promote companies quality and it's also serves as a means to bring more costumers to the company. I can't say anything bad about gambling advertise from YouTube because their advertises are some how better than other adverts on other apps.
Although I am not a fan of adverts because there are many ads that promotes frauds and it's not good to always click on any of them as a bitcoiner. These days the ads I sees are BC.game and ayoba, we already bc.game but the ayoba is a local site. Where I hate most is when you open a side and lots of ads starts popping up, it annoys me and I have tried to block few but it seems that there are more that can't be locked even when you subscribe the premium packages.

Maybe many of you here are already aware of such or better steps to disable Youtube content related to gambling, especially during that period when you feel you have developed an addiction or your gambling activity has become concerning, I didn't find any topics here explaining this feature other than self exclusion from your casino account for a period of time or even permanently. So, I wanted to share with you the simplest way to disable YouTube gambling content ( ads and videos) in few steps I could find.

Why you are seeing Gambling Ads and videos on YouTube? : simply because google collects your cookies and when you search about casinos or gambling, you will get ads or at least video suggestions

It's strange you felt the need to put this guide together, but I guess if it helps one person stay away from gambling it's a good thing. Youtube algorithms have a tendency to provide similar content to the user as they have viewed previously or from people that they subscribe to. That means you'll tend to see gambling clips more often if that has been what is entertaining you so far. I don't think I've ever seen a gambling video unless I've been watching them before that point and if you stop watching them they will disappear eventually. To help speed it up you could probably just click the options beside a clip and select "Don't show any more content from this channel" to achieve the same effective, you might have to repeat it a few times is all.

As far as I know, YouTube doesn't just throw ads and video recommendations everywhere and anywhere without following an algorithm.

Advertisements are mainly based on user's activity. The target advertisement should be shown to those users who are relatively watching related content as much as possible. In fact, even though I watched previously some gambling-related videos, still, I'm not getting any gambling-related advertisements or video recommendations about gambling in general. Maybe YouTube changed their terms about how gambling-related videos on their platform should show.

I admire OP's effort to put this guide but for me, it's not necessary if the only purpose is to stay away from gambling-related videos. Gambling-related content and stuff are everywhere, even just by walking simply at busy streets, which is far more spread out compared to the YouTube platform.
