While I completely agree with whatever you said, I believe people who get heavily drunk barely stay conscious enough to understand what they are doing. I don't drink myself, but some people or friends do, and I have always asked them the question whether they remember the things they did when they were drunk when they became sober later on, and they said no, most of the things that a heavily drunk person doesn't stay in memory, even if it does, it will be very vague.
