Many of us support her that she would have won. But that's not the only tournament, just better luck next time and moving forward to the next tournament that she'll participate. I guess that chart of winning probability was flattering to her. But it had changed when the game has ended or when Belinda has won some games already. I admire her and will continue support and happy with whatever achievement she'll reach because IIRC, she just came from another tournament and already flew to this current one. She deserves some rest though but she's moving to the next US open doubles.
And after Alex's exit in the Canadian open, the tournament is not the same again. I have seen clips on some social media platform that the stadium is very much empty as compare to Alex's run wherein she was move to center court to accommodate mostly of her Filipino fans.
For sure the tournament organizers will be very happy if Alex won and move on the next round. And because of her drawer power, the tournament has drawn so much attention as it is covered in the news all over the world because of Alex Eala's presence.
It's because our countrymen's support for her is overwhelming, I remember her opponent telling that she's making the tennis community alive again. They can't blame her for that because she's a sweetheart and bringing pride of our country. I just don't like if the organizers will think that she has to stay because of the crowd she's bringing, maybe it's only about more invites to her but not related to any result of her games.
You are right but that should not be regret for Eala because her career still long and many chances for her to recover and back to win in the next tournaments or events. I am sure with her trains, she will gets his top performance and ready with the next.
She need to recovery the injury and hopefully, she will fully recover before the next event. She young and have more talent and she might become more popular.
She's already gaining the fame, I've seen her play when she started to join and get that scholarship on the Rafa Nadal academy and it's now showing the fruits.
I'm very impressed with that Eala, no matter the outcome. It's okay if she loses to a more experienced player because it does not detract from her progress. It is a great experience for her to be able to play back-to-back tournaments with really high-level players. The odds only predicted what is the market expecting, but not what is actually going to happen on court. The important part is how she learns from this and returns in the next tournament, stronger than ever before. She has a bright future ahead.
Yup, that's what we're looking forward to. The bright future for her whether it's with doubles or singles, she alone has that charm and talent and waiting for her to be more successful in her next tournaments.
