Recently, rumors emerged that one of the largest social media is about to introduce the crypto feature as a means of payment and sending gifts, and I am talking here about TikTok.

In theory, this is positive for both sides, whether TikTok or the crypto field, which will expand further, and if TikTok takes this step, I do not rule out that other social media will do the same.

If this happened,  in your opinion, what are the pros and cons of social media relying on crypto?

I think that TikTok can do nothing else a part from distributing information in crypto world, same as other social media, and it helps to get more informations, that's the goal and the only thing that can develops in social media platforms in order to get into crypto, this world needs to be known and i think that all the platforms could help for that.

China Banned Bitcoin in their country , tiktok is own by Chinese  so the question here is what Kind of crypto are they gonna accept? and never that I will allow Tiktok to learn about my crypto information because we knew that our data isn't that safe in that social media platform .

Actually you have heard this in US tv show but China is still on it because they Owned tiktok and yeah they have banned Bitcoin so by any chance that this is true then the question will stand , what crypto are they gonna accept, But thanks to you that you are not letting tiktok enters your privacy for not creating an account there ,  so I guess even if we don't or they don't directly pushes it yet China is in relation in this by all chances mate and we must be aware of that.

I am if this opinion because I have not seen any social media work that can impact on Bitcoin beyond what is already in existence apart from passing information, TikTok is not an exchange even if they want to build exchange it can only be added to an existing exchange.

Well any impact than to create order than elevate the level of advertisment made on the crypto world. Though the news I hard is regarded to US band on TikTok. By their legislative house which link I can't proof I don't regards it an reality until i am able to get the link.

Where is TikTok based? they say that it has a huge connection to China despite it being based in Singapore. But if it's going to happen then it's better if TikTok goes first into adoption of Bitcoin than X which have been said that they're making a superapp.

I really thought it would be X or formerly known as twitter to be the first one to do this. Mainly because of Elon Musk who we all know is quite publicly involved with cryptocurrencies. It is nice to hear that a huge social media platform was interested and trusting for crypto to be used in their app.

Tiktok is where a lot of people are nowadays mainly the young ones so this will definitely take crypto adaptation into an entire new level.

An average person spends 2-3 hours surfing the internet and using social media, from this you can imagine how internet and social media have changed our lives. TikTok is gaining a lot of popularity now so I think it will take crypto higher and people will have confidence in crypto.

Same concern here because they have been called many times for this attitude this is why I deleted my Old account because since i created an account there are unwanted emails that comes from sites that I don't even know(am not sure if this is how tiktok do it but that is what i do believe0
lucky for me that I am not using my legit details when creating so Im free from bad things to happen.

good for you both that you did not create an account because you may face being compromised as what some comes to say about tiktok apps .

when social media use crypto on their platforms, they will face government regulations related to the use of crypto assets on internet services. in my own country the government has done this, when telegram introduced their token and allowed users to transact it. the problem is that our government requires all crypto to be registered with the ministry of commerce, since it is a traded asset. and because of this, until now telegram users have not been able to use the wallet feature on their accounts.

and maybe this will happen to tiktok if they really allow users to use crypto on their platform. there will definitely be many things that tiktok must fulfill to be able to pass this feature in countries that regulate cryptocurrency.
