Up for sale is a Silver 1 BTC Casascius Coin from 2013 slabbed and graded by ICG MS67 PL (PLUS)

This coin is LOADED with 1 BTC in it's original unpeeled state & sealed in nearly flawless condition and graded by ICG with no spotting or scratches.

This is truly a spectacular quality coin rarely seen on the forums graded in this condition.

https://imgur.com/a/kisXzqF (images of front/back of coin)

I am located in Florida, USA and prefer to meet local in the USA or at a major USA airport.

Can also consider using minerjones for escrow

I'm looking to sell for 1.5 BTC or best offer.

Serious buyers only. Please PM me if interested.

Wasn't this coin sold for 1.4BTC when Bitcoin was below $30k?

What do you consider a reasonable offer? I'm pretty sure I remember this coin sold for 1.4BTC when Bitcoin was below $30k. Bitcoin is now $66k.

And? These are getting harder and harder to find on the market. 1.5BTC is a steal in my eyes, I wouldn't let mine go for anything close to that

Casascius coins still don't get the respect they deserve in my opinion.  Probably because a lot of them were given away early on so there are a lot of people who have them and don't value them, leading to lots of sales at low prices (in BTC terms).  I don't see anything on the horizon that will reverse the BTC premiums on these coins dropping, but I do know that a day will eventually come when you can't find them for any price and they will be coveted.  Who knows what the catalyst will be.  Maybe a celebrity will fall in love with them or some rich Saudi Prince...  Maybe this year or two decades from now.  I'm certain the day will come.  The question is when and who will be left holding?  Will you be able to resist peeling if BTC hits $500K or $2M?

And I'm just trying to politely manage your expectations of a sale at that price, especially here on the forum. You're not going to get the same premium you would on this forum compared to a Stacks Bower's auction. Even on Stacks, the premium was less than what you're currently asking for coins with better grades:

Bitcoin price the day of that auction was $69,000. First MS-69 coin graded by PCGS was sold for $87,000, in Bitcoin terms that is 1.26BTC. Second MS-69 coin graded by ANACS sold for $84,000, 1.21BTC.

Sounds to me like you are trolling, my guy.

I haven't even dialoged with you in this thread, yet you keep popping up to concern troll about this coin that you aren't even interested in buying.

if you want to be a random troll and state the obvious then go somewhere else with it, please and thank you.

Of course, I know that I won't get auction prices. I've been in crypto since 2016. Have a great day

For those serious buyers out there, PM me with an offer.

Like Ognasty says the respectful premium just isn't there yet. Items are always worth what someone will pay as my Pop used to always tell me. Maybe a couple more years and or celebrity investors can spark a greater interest in these magnificent coins. This has become a millionaires game now. The pool of potential buyers has significantly reduced the last year or two. Best of luck with your sale !
