Op you talk well, and I understand your reason of creating this thread. The thing dey pain you when someone use pidgin English and non local pidgin speakers dey understand. But one thing I will also talk be say, we Nigerian we no get our own ABC like Chinese people dem get their. Own way of writing. And for those wey dey do di translations dey use different words in many of their choice of words. Dis use of pidgin English in dis our local board, we don talk tire so we just let everyone to use anyone they can. Everyone dey bring different different ones. Some say make we no dey use abbreviations and Nigerian pidgin English e dey full with abbreviations so we no even no where we dey for now

To use abbreviations for pidgin English na the worst thing to do especially for forum like this where one go need to express himself so that others go understand.
I no really they bothered about whether to use pidgin or not because to me once a true Nigerian see the pidgin English words used, e go relate immediately and follow suit for the matter wey they for ground.

Pidgin no wetin go make sense make dem dey write am in full, the main pidgin wey we dey use for naija is abbreviated and na only a topical naija man na go fit understand am. E go make sense make we dey write our pidgin in a way wey e go be only us wey from naija na go fit understand it, after all if you go other local board they write in their own which nobody wey no from their side no go fit understand ahm  e dey sweet me wella when I dey express my self with naija pidgin.

Other local boards they speak their own language which they understand very, and I think in their country English might be an official language which they also learn in school.  But the essence of the local board is for them to use their own language to explain thing very well for them to enjoy discussion in their board.  As for we the people of naija English is not our language,  it is a borrowed language that most of that went to school and graduated with good grade we still find it difficult to speak and write English very well.if we must speak English here I don't see any why we should have naija local board.

English is mostly spoken in countries colonized by Britain, but not all countries are speaking English. Some countries are not speaking English at all and they use their local language to communicate which is good that way.

Nigeria has many languages and non we accept on this forum. Pidgin is derived from English and not a local language. Pidgin is also not our language if your regard English not to be out language. Pidgin is derived from English.

This na one wey I no fit help but sincerely agree to, everything wey op talk na nothing but the truth, me no fit lie say I no dey use comment post for this our local board before, but most of the time after making such posts or comment in English, I dey always con dey reason am say, wetin be the essence of say we get local board, meanwhile, na still the same English wey we dey use for global boards na im we still dey use for here, say e no make sense, this na why sometimes, I dey always try to force myself type and post in pigin regardless of the fact say, I dey always type faster when I dey use English.

Though I no know how una go see am, but my suggestion for be say, as soon as we don get Nigerian moderator for this our local board, make we enforce, or make am mandatory say, every post or comment for this board must be with pigin, any post wey any user post here with English, moderator go delete am, this go help us dey promote our own, same way wey other local boards dey promote their own.

I agree with wetin u talk so, and me I like as we get local board self, if I dey write for pidgin, I dey more likely to express myself than to write in English, na one no be say I no fit write for English o but I dey dey more free in pidgin, but I dey wonder why some people go just dey write for English wen be say here na local board, if they say make them comot local board or mk they put rule say no more pidgin for this local board, na still those people wey dey post with English na e go complain pass, infact for this world nothing person dey do wey everybody go like, e get some wey go oppose, e get some wey go agree too, humans are just unpredictable because if u dey, dey go complain, if u no do dem go still complain. So for me i go say mk dem either leave local board like this anyhow person won post or comment for here whether English or pidgin o, as far as person dey read dey understand wetin the person mean, we are good to go.
