Gm!

Paldo.io is a curated crypto airdrop database, offering users access to high-quality, handpicked airdrops for optimal farming opportunities.

With Paldo.io, you wouldn't need to do research on which airdrops are best and if the protocol you saw was legit or not, we do the work for you! But of course, for your peace of mind, always verify!

My question is, how do you ensure that the listed airdrops are not phishing scams aimed at stealing user funds once they try to check for "eligibility" by connecting the wallets to the website?
So many phishing sites out there. I have seen quite a number of them?

Wouldn't also be good to include proof that the airdrop has been announced somewhere by the official project? Like a link to the tweet, Reddit post or medium article?

Just my 8 years of experience in the cryptocurrency space. Tongue (I made this project.)

As said in the main post, these airdrops are handpicked; not a compilation of every single airdrop available under the sun. That's the differentiating factor of Paldo.io compared to sites like Airdrops.io.

I would personally just use it to find out about airdrops I’m not aware of, and then go around each project social media pages myself for more information. Even under official tweets you find good looking phishing answers, so you can never be too careful.

This is the best way to do it, but unfortunately, most people wouldn't want to go through all that hassle lol.

Also, I sometimes recommend people to use Rabby wallet(plus a hardware wallet) as it shows a warning if you're connecting your Ethereum wallet to a website that's not well-known. It gives people a good layer of safety for those nights when they're tired/intoxicated and accidentally click on a phishing site.

Even if I don't see in the main post that these airdrops are handpicked, can you share some more info? For instance, did you gain something out of any of the airdrops that you suggest? How do you earn from this? Through referral links from these projects? I don't have your experience in this field of airdrops and which one is worth/ safe of doing whatever, but the more you share, the better for you. No offense, I'm just trying to understand what the criteria are for choosing the airdrops that you choose and how you can know if these projects can give something.

I make money off the referral programs, which around 70% of these projects have(benefits both the referrer and referee because of discounts and bonuses). That, and I'm a seed investor in some(<5%) of the projects listed.

As for the criteria, it's pretty much similar to investing in any token/stock — you literally do a background check and read the docs/balance_sheets to decide.

I'd use it to discover new airdrops, then verify each project through their official social media channels. You can't be too careful—scams can even hide under legitimate posts.

If a team does a scam quit, there's really nothing I can personally do. All I can do is to reduce the odds of that happening to as low as possible — you really can't make the odds zero.
