No, don't get fooled. Bitcoin is money so you need a job to make money and you can be an entrepreneur or an investor or just getting a salary which is irrespective of having Bitcoin. If you are in a stage that you need to make money and choosing Bitcoin as a way is risky, it's suitable for people with multiple revenue streams.

Investors do not only rely on their multi profit investments, but they also have their own stable jobs that provide them sustainable income. So they don’t rely completely on their investments, but probably half of it. So when you say relying into bitcoin for life’s survival, I guess that’s way too risky to make. Bitcoin investors could be engaging in long-term or short-term investments. Short-term investors are Bitcoin traders who engage in buying and selling cryptocurrencies on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. For me, long-term investors keep Bitcoin for at least four years and above. Some people are professional traders and they do it as a full-time job. I’ve also seen quite number of people focus on bitcoin investment and entrust their full time career on it. Unfortunately, only few have succeeded and the rest have turn into losers in the end. Well is possible though, but at first you have to have the mindset of long-term investment. Because you can't just start investing in Bitcoin and start and withdrawing like yah full time career and stuff ,so at first you have to spend years in yah Bitcoin accumulation. The best way to go about bitcoin and be on the safer side is to have something else done that you can hold onto because bitcoin can't give you a daily income to foot your bills.

You cannot be a good bitcoin investor when you rely solely on your investments for your daily expenses, you'll end up liquidating your portfolio and ruining the investments you made earlier. Bitcoin investment is for a long term, and even when you've invested for a longer term, you don't just start preying on your holdings so that it remains profitable for you.

You can remove a part of it and use the money to diversity your investments or possibly startup something that will be talking care of your daily needs, or better still get a job to take care of your need while your portfolio keeps appreciating. I reduced my portfolio slightly earlier in the year to invest in agriculture which gives me returns quarterly during harvest and my revenue is enough, coupled with my job to take care of my responsibilities, while I continue increasing my holdings with my funds from Sig. In as much as Bitcoin does not stop us from buying and holding then I don't think we need to take it as a full time career.
Even to the traders that always trade in the market, many of them has regular jobs but still trade because trading is not something that needed to take all our time because we enter the market. Being a long term investor won't favor you much if you want to make it a full time thing, since you'll be sailing  high and lows with  your bitcoin  profits as your only hope of income.
On the alternative,  just  having another source of income  to fuel your bitcoin  holdings  is a wiser route to take, as you will have emergency  fund  at hand, and you will have no need to touch  your  holdings.
