Maybe there is still more to expect from the altcoins market as we are having a serious sentiment against their performance such that even when bitcoin rises to $68,000 most of them didn't make much performance is pumping as they did while rising the first time, so i want to believe that now is only a time to wait and continue to hodl our asset till the time comes where all the crypto markets will perform well again as before.

I don't hold a lot of USD/USDT but I'm preparing myself to get some when a dipper comes from this dip. 
Bitcoin has to move to the new ATH first before we see the altcoin season but what if the trend changes and we'd see the altcoins first move a lot before Bitcoin? Maybe and can happen.

I am also ready to buy the dip but is this the dip that we're all waiting for? I am actually not waiting for it but because that many speculations have told that and it's starting to appear then it makes sense to wait for it if there will be more of these corrections.

i think the plunge already is currently happening. by Monday we are going to see the price going up again. this halving is going to cause a massive price increase of BTC in a few months before the altcoin season starts.

when the BT goes way high and the orders in the altcoins market are already filled, the BTC holders will try to diversify their investment to altcoins to have more liquidity in the market.

Indeed Altcoin will rise but not immediately post halving, we have to wait for Bitcoin to go on rally and once the value of Bitcoin stabilizes post rally that's when we usually see Altcoin rally and this has been the case in the past but this time we have seen a huge surge in the value of Altcoin even before the massive rally of Bitcoin hence I would we we need to be prepared for all the situations as the market is not following it's previous trends this time so we may have some surprise or see the rally of altcoin even before or much later.

Bitcoin halving is probably three days away but the market is not seeing any possibility of bullrun so far. Seeing no possibility of an altcoin session starting means there is no possibility of an altcoin session before the bitcoin halving. After the Bitcoin halving, the market may be in a worse position than it is now, so of course, in that case, I will have no chance of getting any profit from all my altcoin investments.

I have the same opinion it will probably plunge, previous halving also does exactly the same thing if i remember but then chart getting better and eventually we hits all time high.
its part of basic trading principle as far as I know where people sell when the news arrive i mean halving in upcoming days will definitely make trading volume increase but doesn't necessarily means the market gonna turn green.
even though right now bitcoin is already recovering from the price pullback anyway, I expected the next wave of correction and trying to close all my long position just in case will come back shortly after the halving news arrive and market stabilizes.
honestly even if it plunges, its just goes to show that bitcoin following exactly the historical charts where it plunge like it supposed to, if that turns out to be true we might be seeing some massive price jump in the future and see $100k, its gonna be exciting.

This is the same as the previous halving. however, we all need to prepare the assets we own and believe in. Why on Monday? Is it because in Monday halving will now occur? But I thought its exact date was unknown? Also, the market is way too unpredictable. Doesn't matter if there is a positive or a negative event but the price can still move as opposed to them.

Maybe that's true that halving effects are long-term but alt season can start later this year because the bull run is already here. Don't know what BT means but is it BTC? If BTC price is high, it means the buy order is focused at it (not in alts) and they might need to sell for profits first before they proceed in the alts. This is the reason why we have an alt season after a BTC pump/bull run.

This is always what’s happening before but the cycle is already changed since there’s already a string market pump happened a year before halving. What’s gonna happened next is now unpredictable but many still follow the same pattern which is the one that you mention.

Right now, Bitcoin is showing some sign of recovery before the halving which is a sign of desperation for other traders to enter on Bitcoin thinking that it will pump more above the current ATH. The price is very unpredictable especially if it’s gonna move forward more or we will experience a strong price dump after the halving.

Halving in a few hours will not signal a significant price but I believe a recovery in the next few months, even if you say this altseason it is still very possible that the price will go back down because of some negative news that comes but the altcoin season will probably be the same in bullish times.

You're holding USDT to prepare to buy during the downturn? That's great! Make sure you don't choose altcoins that don't have fundamentals that will have risks even though it's altcoin season.
If I myself will not be more than 20% for altcoins the rest is bitcoin as one of the main investments.

The price will increase after the halving? or it increases during the halving?
In my point of view, the price will increase during the halving. Then, the price of Bitcoin may drop after the halving. It even may begin the sideway phase before it probably increases again massively in the next year. What I know, the optimum raise of Bitcoin will be few months after the halving. People predicted that it may be in Q1-Q2 of 2025.

Yes, after halving, it is possible for altcoins season. This is the time for most altcoins to increase their prices massively. Top altcoins like ETH, BNB, ADA, or SOL may increase earlier than other altcoins. However, it is just the prediction that we conclude from the history of previous altcoin season. The new altcoin season may be different from the previous altcoin season.

It's hard to decide right now, doubts lingers in my mind because many factors keep it so challenging. Many issues had been too rough these days, that's why we should be careful in what we're doing because crypto volatility isn't an easy investment. Personally, I was battling my emotions for so many years seeing my holdings didn't come up with a good profit. Only few assets helped my reach a good profit and not the other zero value coins that never awaken after previous halving.

So many coins have already shown their recent performance ever since the beginning of the year and when the bullrun started, but they have not achieved up to expectations yet, many will still rises to their new all time high after the halving, which may be their own time to outshine others and rise to the highest level they could attain, more of the altcoins seasons are still coming after this recent one, lets expect for more to showcase after halving in performance.

Halving has already happened earlier today and I don't think that the alt season will start. We should be expecting a Bitcoin bull run before and the we might see alt season happening. Nothing happen so far. Halving's effect gonna happen at least a few months after the halving will have done. I remind you something that if bitcoin is now more stabilize compared to the last years. It's caused by so many big institutions have been entering the crypto market and majority of people are preferring to hold their bitcoin.

It's not even happen. The opposite thing is happening since bitcoin can still stand above 60k despite the war between israel and iran. It's unlike a few years ago when ukraine announced the war against russia. Bitcoin is even stronger than before,.
Halving cuts its inflation, don't expect the price of bitcoin to plunge until the end of last year.
