What about posting some kind of source before doing some claims? It would help us to do our own research and be more informed. Posting "news" in this manner just makes me to doubt on the veracity of this information, but whatever... Disregarding the lack of a source, I can only say that it would not be surprising if the banking system of the different members of the European Union were to be unified in the future for the sake of the seamless implementation of there CBDC or the digital Euro, after all, when we talk about such a system, is supposed to be a full replacement of cash and that in order to become a reality it would need as little friction as possible when doing payments between parties. The most banks are involved in a single transaction the more friction one can encounter and hence, more inefficiency.

Also, on those countries you mentioned in the end which are alledgely not going to form part of this new system, it is very unlikely they will self-exclude themselves from such important economical backbone so it very possible they will indeed end up being included. Just my opinion.

Again, if you have the source of this information, please share it.

The OP is an experienced forum member and I expected more from him when he's starting a thread, he didn't give any meaningful details and no links to give more insight about his topic. Some of us are not from Europe, and we don't know much about their internal news, unless the ones that makes global headlines.

I think that the topic is about banks unification among some European countries, if I'm correct about my assumption, then I believe that it can be possible, because they already have one Euro currency, that unifies most of them.
