Yes because planning to spend money from winnings when the winnings have not happened is something that is not realistic, and the only reason why putting hope on winning is really always not recommended in gambling is because the results are not yet known about whether you will win or lose, it is actually okay to make a plan regarding how you will spend money from winnings if you have seen that the results are really winning in the sense that you have finished the session, but if the results have not come out and you have made a plan to spend money from winnings then it does not make sense.

Becoming addicted to Gambling as a result of trying to Get rich quick, by hoping on game that is yet to play is one of those factors we should totally avoid. I personally don't see any reason why someone should procrastinate on something that is yet to come and even worse, something that's based solely on luck. It was an empty promise that he made, because he didn't have the funds ready but had false hope on gambling. I don't know. I am not believing that there's such a thing as gambling being the source of income since it could go south anytime. We can analyze a sport as deeply as we can but that doesn't give us any assurance that we will that bet. I've seen worse with x1.10 odds and below still losing their bets which is why I would not do such a thing as making it my source of income because of the unpredictable environment of gambling.
