Currently the market is going through a correction due to Bitcoin. The current Bitcoin dominance is 54%, do you think in such a situation a meme coin will do wonders after 20th of this month? Another important event that is halving is schedule to happen on the 20th itself and after halving generally the maket stays side ways or goes into correction phase. IMO Dogecoin price will not make much changes after the Dogecoin day as it will follow the same pattern as all other altcoins have been following and that is to follow Bitcoin.

It will all depend on BTCs movement. If BTC is pumping on that day then it will likely pump.

I have no idea about what kind of celebration you're doing for that day. With what I know, it's all about Bitcoin's halving by tomorrow and any celebration that's going to happen tomorrow are just a wise move that you're able to do the same thing so that it might take some actions.
I'm not expecting a lot by tomorrow just after the halving of BTC. I'm more moving forward to the long term impact of it that might take for several months or even at the end of this day, yes only for BTC not for doge.

I’m afraid that doge day might be overshadowed by probably the most awaited event of the year or maybe the past few years, the bitcoin halving event. We are surely going to see most of investors involved in the crypto scene focused in bitcoin instead of other altcoins let alone memecoins.

If halving wasn’t happening on the same day as doge day then we might be seeing some significant uptrend but for now I am not going to count on it

It has been long I heard from doge coin and this is the first thread I have seen since from the beginning of this year. And you are bringing this Dogecoin celebration and we don't even know what you are celebrating. Is it Dogecoin bull Run, Halving, or All Time High? And if this the current price of Dogecoin $0.1528 then it still has a very long way to go.

And my prediction for that coins which is the expectation you have requested is 0.3573. because of your excitement about the coin I thought the it has hit $1. But when I checked it still has long way to go.

I don’t expect much to happen on Doge Day. Dogecoin like most altcoins tends to follow the path of Bitcoin. There is no doubt that Dogecoin will pump hard within 18 months but don’t expect anything interesting to happen on 20th April, it will likely be a nothingness.

it's the first time i heard of doge day. been a fan for a long time. i never saw the community celebrate anything of that but this is bitget idea trying to celebrate doge day along with BTC halving. $3000 worth of doge is fun though.  

if in the halving day BTC will rise, the rest of the altcoins will also go up. $0.18 is still the resistance line. this could be where the price struggles to climb.

Well, I can't remove that but I know that Dogecoin has gained a lot and that's no debate with it. If it's going to increase a lot and will be back to its former ATH then that's amazing. But with all of the increasing supply that it is having everyday, it's already an achievement that it has gone back to $0.2 for which for a dogecoin with a lot of supply, that's great for investors who have held and bought it when it has dumped a lot after the ATH.

Probably a small hype but not enough to pump that much, everybody are too focused for the Bitcoin halving and the hype should usually start weeks before the event and with DOGE, I don’t hear that much. This is one of the oldest and top meme coin, so there’s a potential for this to pump but yeah I agree that it will not move that much on April 20.

I don't think Doge has by major development due to which I could say we couldn't expect any surge as there has been no progress or collaboration for Doge and it has become like an stable meme coin but I know it has capability to prove me wrong but it's not due to the project but due to manipulation. I don't have any hope on it.

Though the Bitget event is commendable, Dogeday is celebrated by the community actually. Just search for Dogeday on twitter and you'll see RT about it. Fvg is in that are. 0.18-0.19. let's see if Doge will clear that. I'm anticipating

Well price of Doge is now up 4% after it was down more then 23% in the last week. Today is Doge Day and there is some very 'bullish' predictions for new price of the meme coin.

Bitcoin was halved yesterday, making it difficult to predict whether the Bitcoin price will down or go up from the current time. We've seen most altcoins start to rise when the price of Bitcoin rises. However, we have seen in the past that Bitcoin goes into a price correction after a halving, so how can we expect a meme coin to increase in value. For now I don't think Doge Coin is going to change much. Not really, memecoins can pump spontaneously even if there is a dip in other markets. Remember that community hype plays a huge role in memecoins, so if there is enough hype for it to happen, it will. But I don’t think there is/was enough hype.

This doge day will be a good momentum for doge fans and will have a positive impact on doge prices. as we know, the reason the price of meme coins is rising is the hype and this doge day will increase the doge hype and the doge fans will take advantage of this momentum very well.

i found it. i was just not invited to any of the dogeday celebrations before. if i just found out a long time ago i would have crashed. after learning about the doge CEO who sold everything, i didn't visit their ANN thread anymore. i'm a doge holder though. so happy #dogeday!  it must have been celebrated more on twitter and not here.

Oh just how so ridiculous the Op is being slammed and all that just make him feels like he's alone with the so excitement and celebration of the Dogecoin.
I also don't know what he's talking about as much. Although like you said that you haven't heard of Doge since the year, actually Doge has been amongst the trended AltCoins before the halving during when most MemeCoins influencedthe crypto markets as lot of investors were rapidly investing on them. So Doge was amongst. The fact is that you wouldn't acknowledge the existence or the fairness of what you don't give damn about and that's why you never heard of the Doge all those while.

Moreover, after those AltCoins captured weakness and could not be hyped to influence Investors anymore longer, Investors attentions has been on the bigger expectations in the crypto sphere which is the halving where lot of investors would all be tempted to invest their funds on against the bull run so, I don't think if the effect of the bitcoin market will even give those breaking attentions of such Doge celebration to be captured with any excitement or necessity. How much I'll feel for that poor coin.
