Let's discuss the progress of ethereum nowadays, I just can't sleep last night thinking of my bills at home.
I've been searching to find alternatives to pay for it but nobody lends me for some penny to solve my problem.
Fortunately, I was checking the old eth wallets then I found something surprising then as I saw there's 0.2 eth balance on that wallet.
To my surprise, I was able to use some portions of it to immediately pay the bills at home that's around 120 usd.

Would it be better to save the remaining portions of my eth? I was wondering what if the price would go even higher and reaches to 3k. good for you that you found your eth, anyway, it might still be worth it to hold ethereum, the news of ethereum ETF approval , i read from many news and media outlets the expected date that ETH ETF will get approval is may, but we can't be sure, things could be delayed but if its being approved for real your ETH will definitely worth more, since seeing from the history of btc when its ETF gets approved, the price surges.
also there are many things that you can do with your ETH, such as restaking and so on in various platform, but you should make your own analysis first, staking your eth in a platform like renzo, pufferfi and other platform might expose your money to risk of contract breach but also can be beneficial if things went well.

Lucky for you that Ethereum have saved you but try not to be like this because bills is our obligation
meaning we must always be ready each end of the month or else do not use water and electricity if you
have no assured money to  pay them , never rely in borrowing .

I'm not fooling anybody here buddy! I'm just being honest here. The reality of my life finances right now is not that good, I worked so hard embracing all the debts for my family so it mainly affected our basic expenses. Not everyone here is perfectly earning good income, some struggles for work to earn from part time jobs.

However, due to busy at work checking eth price isn't a priority for my daily routine. To make it clear, I acquire that eth last 7 years ago and that's an old wallet that I kept.

Well, lucky you to find some ethereum in your wallet. I was also often forgetting my old wallet and i have found several ethereum from my old wallet. If you are thinking you need to have some money as your saving and just keep it on your wallet. You are only holding small amounts of ethereum. Staking it is not even possible.

Ethereum will definitely go up on value during the upcoming bull run, so if you can keep most of it for a time you will definitely benefit from it, also it is important that other people do the same as you did and they begin to check old wallets, as the dust that people left there years ago and which they thought was not useful anymore, could allow them to increase their holdings by a small margin, and having more money at your disposal is always good especially when it was already yours.

I think it should reach 3k easily this year. The main reason behind this is the ETF approval and the steps taken by ETH to solve congestion issue. Many projects are launched with linkage to ETH and they have a good use case also. They are using these projects to promote and market about ETH which is also a very good step for marketing.

In my opinion it should go higher than the amount you mentioned here. But another point here is that BTC is performing very ambiguous nowadays especially after the halving period .If BTc goes normal them we could expect the same by ETH

Totally would be your choice because we know that ETH isnt really just that sitting down #2 for nothing. So it would really be that pretty obvious that it has so much potential plus consider that we arent still on a bull run market yet which it is something that been projected on the next year but we dont know since there were rumors that it might happen for this year. This is why it would really be that hard to tell on what would gonna happen.
SPeaking about ETH on 3k then we are already 3.1k as of this moment. This price isnt really that too hard which its ATH price was almost that $5k so its expected that it would really be able to break much higher on what you have anticipated. Now that ETH is on 3k then what would be your decision? You would be considering on selling out your ETH or you would be selling it out on bull run?
When we are in calls of need then it would really be hard to resist not to do such action.

Depending on your situation, when next month comes you need money for bills again and there is no money other than ETH in your possession, you will definitely sell at any price when you need it in an emergency.

ETH's highest price this year is at $4,000 if you check the yearly chart, it is still very possible for Ethereum to reach the peak again even I think it could be ATH when the bullishness really comes the same as bitcoin, but the market is still stagnant there is no change after the halving.

Glad to hear that ideas suggested by many of us in this discussion, at first I was in hesitation about staking but now I'm confident enough to take chances of having profit using this type of strategy.
Recently I've deposited some amount of ethereum at my kucoin trading deposit, and it amazed me that in just one day the invested amount will give me projections of good profit as well.

You know the answer here, if you need bad money go use this. If not really, then you can just hold it for now. Because also the transaction fee you will able to spend transferring or selling this Ethereum.

Yes OP is very lucky. When this moment occurs, it was like god was answering our prayers immediately and this makes me believe on him more. He already solved his current problem by paying his bills and it may take some time for them to be paid again, so that is not is his concern for a while but it's about the ETH that are left in the wallet.

ETH can already act as an investment but he can choose to invest some of it on others. His wish for ETH is only small and that is for it to reach $3k but upon checking its value, it is already over $3k now. Your call there for ETH which is $10k is a bit high. I'm not saying it's impossible because I know ETH is also a good coin like BTC but it may take a long time for us to see that.

it will definitely reaches its all time high eventually so there's nothing wrong in holding ethereum in my opinion the fact that its number 2 by market capitalization already reflects the state of ethereum currently in.
there are still many things that could motivate the price to be higher than current price so if I were the one to hold ethereum i won't be in hurry dumping it.

though just be prepared for the worst I guess, i mean the market could be turning direction suddenly who knows but overall if its not surpassing the current target of mine around $4k i won't be selling it.

Op you create this thread in April 24, 2024, 01:57:35 AM, which is four (4) days ago and Ethereum price which you said will hit $3k this year has been on this $3+k for months now. Even before I invested in Ethereum in the early part of March this year Ethereum was $3,700. And I just checked it and it is $3,144.22. And early this Year Ethereum was $4+k and that was the price motivated me to invest in it and after my investment things changed. And I am still waiting for the price to go up to hit $10k.
