Apart from typo errors and some of the unnecessary auto correct when our device de do sometimes when fit send a different message that's outside of our intentions, you no really need to stress yourself de re-read your writeup over and over again just so you can be too perfect at conveying your message.

If you dey post, you suppose dey careful, if you don write your post finish, you suppose check am again before you post am now, when posting you no suppose dey rush like that, if you dey type definitely mistake go dey, na if you dey read am again na him you go notice some mistakes wey you go fit correct. Its always very important to proofread what you're posting. Its challenging enough to navigate the forum and read posts in the process, so you don't want to make life much harder for people by making posts with lots of typographical errors. Such cause headache while trying to understand something that is so poorly formatted or with simple grammatical errors. Most times these errors can come as a result of auto correction from our phones, especially for people like me that draw to type.

Some people make good posts, but lack of proofreading makes their posts meaningless. I have a friend in the forum that stumbled on an error made by another poster, but in the process of correcting the person, he supported the person instead, now the next poster after him corrected both of them ave was rewarded with 4 merits. The guy complained bitterly that it was because he didn't crosscheck his work that denied him the reward.

Its even more annoying when someone is asking a question and the question lacks meaning or the message is not well conveyed. Take for example, the  post below

From my observations I go fit conclude say nah those wey dey feel am say them done understand the forum nai dey post without previewing their post, for some people them dey always dey use horry horry dey post nai make them dey always make some kind of mistakes wey them no supposed to make. Actually this is a very true circumstances that always happens most often because sometimes we feel we can actually write perfectly already and so we may not actually need to do the cross Checking over again as it appears like we are already so sure of our post already so we don't get to really want and have to Cross check and post, this has actually brought back to my consciousness to making sure to check again if i have to post and makes sure i get to Cross chack my post again before posting.

Usually based on say i dey use Auto correct most times i dey no too reason to check my post again because i dey reason say as ai type am e correct because if i spell anything wrongly e go correct so i just no reason to read am but to just post am like dat and most times e dey correct but now i go dey check well.

Well, what you just mentioned now is a valid point and it is a good practice to always crosscheck what you write before posting but how many of us truly do that? I don't think we are that many as majority may not. Some will ask, whats the essence of reading something you wrote yourself if truly you did it but there are reasons to why this is also important. Sometimes you write something and forget to add the prepositions to it or you are faced with keyboard autospelling causing a rough output to something you wrote yourself. While it is sweetsounding to read what youve written, many people like us, may not take it big deal to see.
