It is alarming that the population is becoming more and more smokers every day. There are many benefits to smoking in society, such as lowering stress and anxiety, as well as drawbacks, such diabetes, cancer, and other health issues. However, I have a question. Rather of taking in oxygen in the morning, a buddy of mine smokes carbon monoxide. Upon questioning, he asserts that smoking first thing in the morning is a more beneficial way to begin the day. I'm curious as to what specifically is wrong with Somker, considering that they have half of the same traits.

If you’re not a smoker or an addict you’ll never understand what they feel but the day you join them and take some puffs your way of thinking will immediately change and you’ll begin to think like them and all that will matter to you by that time is how to get some cigarettes to take. On how many the number of advantages it may have, it is better to look at the disadvantage of it which is more severe and more painful when hit by any of those circumstances that comes as a result of smoking.

This is something society leaders cannot stop, and it is fully legal for people to use as they like despite some damage that will involve in the future, and some people have vow never to stop smoking but they can force them to stop other things in the society but they cannot stop smoking.

Cigarettes in Nigeria is bodily written on them that smokers are liable to die young. It seems the Federal Ministry of Health has made it mandatory for all cigarettes producing companies to put that label warning on the body of the product to serve as a warning to all smokers but they still don’t listen or pay heed to it. Prevention is better than cure only if they knew the free advice they’re getting from that.

Yep, old-school cigarettes are vile, disgusting things which lead you to a miserable lung-cancer death. Avoid ever starting since it is so hard to quit.
I guess it more depends on person, some try it and get addicted. I can talk from my perspective. I tried cigarettes few times when I was very young, but I didn't liked and didn't become addicted. I smoke on extremely rare occasions now, but actually forgot when did I bought cigarettes last time.

There’s no benefit of smoking. There’s nothing it does other than slowly kill you. If you want to lower stress and anxiety, there are so many ways to get that done. Some people even smoke electronic cigarettes thinking they are being smart but they don’t know that it’s just as dumb as smoking an actual cigarette. The carbon monoxide you say binds to hemoglobin in the blood, and reduces its ability to carry oxygen to his vital organs and tissues in his body. This can lead to a handful of problems that he probably doesn’t know. Encourage him to quit smoking. If he needs help, help him seek help. Or someday you may not have him any more.
I think that most people who smoke are aware about these things. I doubt that anyone thinks that's healthy to smoke, but they still do it. It's their choice, same like people choose to drink alcochol, junk food or too much energy drinks - none of these aren't beneficial for health too.
Anyway, no matter how you will live, what you will drink or eat, in the end most likely that you won't be healthy when you will die.

WTF?Cheesy That's the worst thing you can do since early in the morning your body craves oxygen and the best thing you can literally do is to run a bit, ride a bicycle, walk a dog if you have one, just go outside and get some fresh air along with a light workout, then get back and drink a cup coffee that will get blood pumping through your lungs. Smoking in the morning when your body is trying to wake up and stretch is suffocating your cells.

In some countries smoking is in the decline, while in others it's on the rise. I know that in Russia most people smoke. It's the same in many former Soviet states like Bulgaria or Belarus.
Harsh environment and hard jobs make people look for ways to relax, take a break. Many employers allow workers to take cigarette breaks, maybe that's one of the reasons.

It is difficult for someone who already has a smoking habit to stop it because if it is addictive then smoking is like a tool for generating inspiration and ideas. If you are an active smoker when you don't have cigarettes, you will lack passion in life, so sometimes you can do whatever you want as long as you have money to buy cigarettes. They definitely know that it is causing harm to their body, but I am in doubt that they know to what level the damage is caused and what exactly is the damage. Additionally, I feel that maybe the dangers of smoking hasn’t been elaborated enough to them other than the “smokers die young”. Almost all of us know that smoking is bad for health.  But a smoker doesn't know it or doesn't want to understand it.  They don't want to accept the complex and difficult disease that they can get.  If you explain to smokers, they will explain to you on the contrary, those who are non-smokers are not affected by complex diseases?  Do they die?  I will say one thing about them, they eat in happiness and in sadness and in joy and in pain.  Usually, once young people get addicted to smoking due to peer pressure, they cannot quit it later.  Many years of consumption cause it to take a terrible shape.

I would not dare to say governments have normalized the consumption of tobacco and smoking. Actually, if you look back many years, smoking used to be more socially acceptable and more widespread than it is today.
Here in my country, for example, there was a time people were allowed to smoke almost wherever they wanted: in busses, in banks (as they waited their turn in the line), in malls, and other places. It was common to see ashtrays in many establishments and businesses.
But nowadays things have changed, it was made illegal for smokers to consume their cigs inside buildings, so they are supposed to go outside for them to do so.

Also, if you check on the story books and videos on the history of tobbaco, you will find in previous decades cigarettes were even recomended as healthy or harmless for people, so their advertisement was more common all around the western countries.
Things seem to be bad when comes to smoking, but were definitely worse in previous decades. You should check it.

Cuban Cigars believed to have many health benefits and still does but look what government is doing, they don't want to stop people smoking that's why they didn't ban the cigarette smoking manufacturers, they just implemented 200% or even more tax rates on these products so if you want to smoke then pay the price.

Also we need to accept that we are not seeing the same thing that's cultivated a century before so I don't think it has any health benefits at all comparing its health complications.

First of all smoking never relieves stress and anxiety but increases it. This is not initially understood because smoking when you are under stress or anxiety will make your head spin. That is first divert your brain for a while and then double your previous stress or initiative. If you are a smoker then you can check it. For those who smoke smoking seems to be very beneficial. It is the habit that man creates that controls him and acts a kind of love towards the habit. But ultimately this is the cause of man's downfall.

I being a smoker is a person choice and any consequences is what one need to be prepared to face.
The rate of smoking at this time is very alarming and it is very important for us to know that  smoking is becoming the order of the day.
We can stop smoking when we understand the effect and the danger it could pose to our health. Smokers are liable to die young but we have been seeing smokers living even longer than someone that is not a smoker. The most important thing is for use to make sure that we take good food that would nourish our body.

Most smokers already know the damage that tobacco smoking does to their body, but they cannot stop because they are addicted and see no reason to stop smoking. This is why they feel reluctant of stopping because they feel that if they stop, they will not be able to overcome stress and tension.

Some smokers have quitted smoking because they don't want any side effect from smoking or maybe their loved ones don't want them to smoke, so they just have to sacrifice for love by giving up to smoking.

I being a smoker is a person choice and any consequences is what one need to be prepared to face.
The rate of smoking at this time is very alarming and it is very important for us to know that  smoking is becoming the order of the day.
We can stop smoking when we understand the effect and the danger it could pose to our health. Smokers are liable to die young but we have been seeing smokers living even longer than someone that is not a smoker. The most important thing is for use to make sure that we take good food that would nourish our body.

It is a statistical thing, when comes to whether smokers are going to face more health problems than the average population or not.
Someone could smoke constantly and still manage to live longer than someone who does not, but the chances for smokers to experiment health problems are obviously higher than the average person, there is no doubt about it.
Thee could be people out here who are genetically more resistant to developing tumors bacused by smoking and yet, they are unaware of their resistance during their whole live, so they smoke and they do not develop life-threatening tumors in any way.

Also, I have noticed some people use smoking as a way to resume their anxiety and manage to eat less. Thee is not a coincidence many people who are active smokers end up being very slim when compared to the average population of in the place they live in, all smokers I have met have been slim in their body figure.

Most smokers already know the damage that tobacco smoking does to their body, but they cannot stop because they are addicted and see no reason to stop smoking. This is why they feel reluctant of stopping because they feel that if they stop, they will not be able to overcome stress and tension.


Quitting tobacco can be one of the most hardest thing to do, not impossible but highest level if there is a bar to measure even tough compared to quit alcohol and the reason is simple, continuous usage of tobacco brought lot of chemical changes in our brain and without the dopamine that tobacco gives, one will feel restless and highly aggravated.

One who is smoking for year should never attempt the cold turkey method, they should consider the gradual decrease, it could take even a complete year depending on their addiction level.

Just like every other addiction, quitting addiction of any kind is more or less a war(inside and between oneself)...
And a gradual approach as you said, can do that magic...

It is not going to be easy cause I had witnessed it from close range but the help of you and your loved ones may make things easier. To quit something it's better to follow something, like following new hobby will help a lot but one who try to quit smoking should keep in mind consuming tobacco in any form is dangerous so people who want to quit may choose to chew which is much worse.

Addiction is not something that we should play or take as joke because it always have a negative consequence on those involved, not to talk of the situation whereby someone is being addicted to smoking, this is very bad because its such a life threatening addiction whereby we put our life in danger for being addicted with smoking, there is health hazard is invoke on our system and those found in this don't easily enjoy their daily life without been addiction to what they are used to, despite the harm.

There’s no benefit of smoking. There’s nothing it does other than slowly kill you. If you want to lower stress and anxiety, there are so many ways to get that done. Some people even smoke electronic cigarettes thinking they are being smart but they don’t know that it’s just as dumb as smoking an actual cigarette. The carbon monoxide you say binds to hemoglobin in the blood, and reduces its ability to carry oxygen to his vital organs and tissues in his body. This can lead to a handful of problems that he probably doesn’t know. Encourage him to quit smoking. If he needs help, help him seek help. Or someday you may not have him any more.
I think that most people who smoke are aware about these things. I doubt that anyone thinks that's healthy to smoke, but they still do it. It's their choice, same like people choose to drink alcochol, junk food or too much energy drinks - none of these aren't beneficial for health too.
Anyway, no matter how you will live, what you will drink or eat, in the end most likely that you won't be healthy when you will die.

They definitely know that it is causing harm to their body, but I am in doubt that they know to what level the damage is caused and what exactly is the damage. Additionally, I feel that maybe the dangers of smoking hasn’t been elaborated enough to them other than the “smokers die young”. They really need to know how it happens and the fact it could happen anytime unexpectedly.

Some smokers have quitted smoking because they don't want any side effect from smoking or maybe their loved ones don't want them to smoke, so they just have to sacrifice for love by giving up to smoking.

In the reply you replied to, you can see that I am writing about how they may know the dangers but may not know to what extent the danger is (probably because they always wake up the next day). For instance, if a doctor told a smoker that his lungs are so damaged that one more cigarette, he’d be dead, I can guarantee you that the addiction will vanish because now he knows that it’s to the extent his life would be gone in the next try.

Those smokers ha made it to be a habit for themselves that if they don't smoke while deficating, they feel they will not be able to bring out the waste product. Those smokers that wakes up from bed in the morning, first thing that they do is to smoke, have also made it a habit. Addiction is what controls their rate of smoking.

Smoking tobacco is dangerous to our health, and that has being a warning from onset. The government can only give awareness of the negative effects of smoking but cannot force anyone not to smoke. However, there are some benefits to smoking which only the smokers can tell you about.

I just imagine what those benefits could be that will override the implications of smoking. When you see people doing or enjoying a particular lifestyle, you can never tell what they feel or how their body react to that after using those substances on themselves. Most of this things were not just created without a purpose but the misuse of them have lead to more metal problems or inner damage of the body system than he should protect. I have nothing against those smoking, but watching your physical well being as to what extent it could be damaged if not stopped smoking should be a necessity to all involved.

I honestly stopped seeing my friends who smoke..They make me sit outside when we go out and I hate that when its cold Smiley)

It is alarming that the population is becoming more and more smokers every day. There are many benefits to smoking in society, such as lowering stress and anxiety, as well as drawbacks, such diabetes, cancer, and other health issues. However, I have a question. Rather of taking in oxygen in the morning, a buddy of mine smokes carbon monoxide. Upon questioning, he asserts that smoking first thing in the morning is a more beneficial way to begin the day. I'm curious as to what specifically is wrong with Somker, considering that they have half of the same traits.
It is ridiculous that starting the day by smoking is a fruitful or effective way to do it. Smoking is an addiction and a terrible bad habit from which no good can ever be expected. So if someone thinks that smoking is a good way to start his morning routine it is completely foolish because when a person wakes up in the morning, the most important things for his body are oxygen and blood circulation. In that case starting the morning by breathing in the clean morning air and exercising is a very effective way to make us energetic for the day's work.
