Why you should only hold Bitcoin

Forget about purpose and intentions. Bitcoin, too, has become guilty of that to a certain extent. Hodling, as a matter of fact, may not be what Bitcoin is for.

As for altcoins, some of them may be good for investment. Of course, you also don't consider their purpose and intentions. Whatever is written on their whitepaper are only there for a show, to make it appear that their project is valid, that it has a reason to succeed. But they aren't for hodling. They're good for quick profit, hit and run strategy. You can't be loyal to an altcoin.

The essence of holding Bitcoin for long-term is to make profit for the investment, because I know quite well that any cryptocurrency investment the target of a holder is to make profit, Instead of me to hold altcoins for long-term I rather hold quantity of bitcoin I feel like holding, so I don't know for any other person, because I know very well that bitcoin investment whosoever that venture into it have plans.

I have seen different persons that hold altcoins and on the process of holding the altcoins and it ran out of the market, so I know quite well that for we to understand the procedures and processes of bitcoin we needed to purchase fifty dollars worth of any altcoins we think that have potential and also hold bitcoin worth of same value and cross check the one that will yield positively after the period of time you wanted.

I quite agree with your submission that altcoins take from people who they refer to as their own community. They make early investors rich while those who invest lately pay the price with their pump and dump norms. I can not condemn investing in altcoins if you can be cautious to make use of the opportunity but I would advise to invest in bitcoins for saver and long-term investment.

These set of people are being classified under FOMO category, they rush to invest in anything they see people making profits from without due diligence and if it turns out against them, they will tagged it scam. Well, you do have a point, as bitcoin is requiring a long-term hold because you can maximize the potential profit doing that. Also,  if an investor is not used to crypto currency investment and doesn't know anything else, then holding a bitcoin asset is the best option for them. But with the essence that people tend to exit early in the market because some people can't keep up with holding bitcoin assets, That's why bitcoin holding is not for everyone who can't keep up with holding; in case of emergencies, they tend to sell their assets because they don't have any other means of extra income. But if they can contain the urge to keep on holding, then they can expect a greater reward, with, of course, good timing in entering the market. It makes logical sense to HODL Bitcoin at a time when inflation is spiraling out of control. Of course. It's not only about the rewards you'll get. But rather, the freedom you'll receive compared to Fiat. With BTC, you and only you are in complete control of your money. That's assuming you have access to the private keys/seeds.

I think you should be more allocated in Bitcoin than any other asset but to say you should only hold Bitcoin is possibly not right. If people feel more comfortable holding say 80% of their net worth in Bitcoin & 20% spread across real estate & other assets then that’s fine. I certainly would not advise holding a small allocation of Bitcoin.

I'm in the same opinion as you do, let's say you hold 50% — 90% of your portfolio in Bitcoin, this is good depending on one's choice about how much of his portfolio will be held in Bitcoin. If you only hold Bitcoin, you won't catch the Altcoin season that makes the market to be more spicy and rewarding, especially when you don’t own up to 0.1 BTC, people that enjoy good rewards in Bitcoin are Basically people that hold up to 1 BTC and above. One good thing I like about holding the majority of my funds in BTC, is that I'm a bit relaxed compared to when I hold other coins.
