I learned about a new TV channel called SLTV through FB post when people d complain about the hike wey Multichoice company wan do so.

Don't leave your TV on channel 100 because of high subscription fees, move to the SLTV side of life.

First and foremost, I hate the service being render by most of this company. They are indirectly robbering the citizen. I have stopped my subscription for long. A country where you will do subscription and may not enjoy it for 24 hours because of power failure. I think this company should run using a pay as you go service. But they don't and with this they are still increasing the price of their products. Although this may be caused by imposed tax they pay to the government and the influence of the present inflation. But nevertheless, they should consider the masses and try to make it affordable for them.

It's inappropriate and not encouraging for most of increase in price.

I won't blame Multichoice for choosing to hike up their prices. The prices of almost all goods and services in the country don almost go 3x to 4x. The bare minimum is 2x sef so as I been already know say Multichoice go increase their prices, na just matter of time. In recent times, the following companies don increase prices:

• Internet Service Providers
• Electricity distribution companies
• And now, Multichoice

This is why I was absolutely gutted to learn that FG was seriously burning money to suppress dollar price rather than tackle the issue of limited exportation head-on.

My brother the day wey I hear say multichoice don increase their monthly subscription again I was speechless, because their last increments never reach 7 months now and people never recovered from that one then now still add another increments, one thing wey I just alserve from multichoice na too much customers, dey just feel like say as na only them they operate for this country Dem can do anything wey Dem like and people no go talk because say we no get any option, this one wey we dey see like this na just the beginning because if another company wey go dey like them or wey go pass them no enter market e go still dey Worst pass like this.

Multichoice don too dominate the subscription-base cable TV for Nigeria, their monopoly do too much and no be today dem dey increase their price anyhow. Based on the economic realities right now, na people wey don chop belle full go fit afford premium packages on DSTV and GOTV. Any paytv wey try to surface like fstv, trendtv, daartv etc, Multichoice go fight them. But I thank God say their monopoly don come to end based on the ruling of the court of appeal and we want see competition for the sector. For people wey no fit afford dstv and gotv, Metro Digital na better alternative.

Abi whether him no see say electricity no even dey to take watch even thing wey you pay for. If you want to watch then you go still need to go buy fuel take run generator, omo dat no make sense. Moreover, after the sub end for the month them no go even say make dem leave one Nigerian station behind, so na who dey fool who. People don even dey manage free to air these days as things take be. If am not mistaking, this year alone I think DStv has subscription before this current increment that was how they did last year too, so the question is do they also this in sought Africa where the company is from or are they doing this because of the corruption in Nigeria, I think our country is very porous in terms of corruption ordinarily a country that want to grow we want come clean for a good representation in the parliament, we our president pretend that he is not our of this outrageous increment by multi choice company or are they happy with milking the public indirectly for their selfish reasons, I have always though of this, I think the government and their cohorts are involved in this devilish act because if they are not involved they will want to caution.this company considering the hard time being faced by Nigerian citizens, from the day this increment was announced till this moment they governmmet has not reacted that should make us to know that we are doomed in this kund of rulership without conscience.

if not for my kid sisters and mum, all this gotv and DSTV would have rotten if they are waiting for me to make any subscription after this increase in price and this kind of power outage we have frequently in my area. To know that most of the programs they are showing are damn boring and ancient and you don't even have enough power supply to have been able to watch them whenever you want to ease off.

They should continue increasing there price untill they loose all thier customers one day. Now that with your tablet you can watch all your  league matches and and Netflix when you feel like they don't want to know that there regime is gradually coming to an end? When all this our parent that are fans to Africa magic starts getting very old and the primary users are now this jen z that are into social media and more of Netflix, they will learn in a hard way.

Nothing de surprise me again for dis country, especially as e concern constant price increase of goods and services, so dis multichoice matter na part of normal thing for di country. But where dem matter de pain me pass be say we no get constant electric power supply for di country, infact you go de for days make you never take your eyes see NEPA light, and how many people de switch on dem generator regularly because of high fuel price, still your DStv or gotv subscription go de run, e no de fare at all.

As price of things dey skyrocket, he better say make we too trim down our expenses to meet up with the current situation. I no think say I go dey happy to pay these multi choice new rate because enough expenses full ground remain. You see all this increase wey Multichoice d do, na because them never get strong competitor for Nigeria and ontop that our government d give them upper hand base on wetin they agree with them to be paying.

I know of how many times wey this matter don come up for Senate House concerning how the DStv d operates for Nigeria towards their services of no light, peso subscription go still d read, at the end of the month peso no go enjoy the subscription wey em do for their hand.

Now, they don come with increase subscription, I think the current Senate House has to revisit the Multichoice case ones again of why they are increasing their subscription when Nigeria's no d get a steady power supply.
