before we go start, e go good make i tell una small thing. PGP get two keys......
1. private key &It;=== you need am take decrypt something
1. a) you go still need passphrase, dat wan mean say you need strong password.
2. public key &It;=== you go need am take encrypt something
 
think of one correct message wey you wan send give your guy. you no want make any government people or any spy dem read d message. dis people den fit get access to your email server. if you wan prevent am, tell your guy make e give you e PGP public key as you don't get am, encrypt d message den send am as email to your guy. like dis, na only your guy go fit decrypt am because e know d private key.

Warning: no share your private key and passphrase with anybody

You go need Kleopatra desktop application. Click here download gpg4win-3.1.1.exe( dis one na d current version wey dey, you go need find d same or another version but e no matter, any version wey dem get for den server go download).once e don download finish, install d app now(I know say you suppose know how you wan take install d app). once you don install finish, you go dey see Kleopatra icon for your desktop.

make Your First Private and Public Keys dem Go to top

1. Open Kleopatra > File > New Key Pair...

press here if you no dey fit see d picture

2. press Create personal OpenPGP key pair

3. put your Name and Email > press Next


for here now, we dey use......

           dis wan go upload d public key go online for d PGP directory service.
           but before dat one, we go need check if d directory domain still dey work. if you get domain wey no dey active, abeg set am like dis

error don show as u dey try export openPGP certificates. server dey show PGP wey no work: key server dey send fail: server dey show fail-snip-

try make you change d open PGP key server. if you dey use windows operating system and Kleopatra like d guide own, enter setting-> set Kleopatra.... den d openPGP keyserver column (default: hkps: //hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net), enter d keyserver wey still dey/and you fit still access am, https://pgp.mit.edu; http://keyserver.ubuntu.com/; or other servers; den press OK.

          or after you don change the server you still dey get the error then no worry. you no need any server for your public key.you fit save am for your computer.

2. Open  System Tray > Right Click d Kleopatra icon > Mouse hover on Clipboard > press OpenPGP-Sign...


3. press Next > put passphrase > press OK

normally, e suppose get your key pair to take sign, we fit call key pair certificate.if you get pass one, then you fit set am out for d wan wey you wan take sign.


4.press OK



5. Open another Notepad > Paste (Ctrl+V)

I checked the forum and found a tutorial guide for using a mobile device. It's created by Learn Bitcoin, titled - [Android Tutorial] PGP Signature - Encrypt/Decrypt message. It is pretty interesting and very straightforward.

I have used UTOPIA for close to 4 months and while it is a great app for communication just like WhatsApp only better due to the privacy features and other amazing features, it consumes a lot of data. Not ideal for people trying to manage their data subscription especially for Nigerians unless you have a deep pocket.

Not too sure about about this I will try to place a data-reader to check the rate at which it uses it but it's a great app actually....
About the pgp since there's  a tutorial already I think it's cool but you might find it difficult  to add recipients at first.... the tutorial really did a great work actually.
There's  no need for mine , just the in-notepad tutorial for Kleopatra is okay I should  get that this week
