The first is the premine which is being voted on at the moment (looking likely to be destroyed or at least mostly destroyed). I assume the 2nd is Poloniex.

question:

why does polonex need over 1000 confirmations?

A user attacked Poloniex yesterday with an exploit making fake deposits of XBC, they did this as a failsafe measure to ensure it doesn't happen again. We are working on a new wallet that will resolve this issue and have pushed it through to our top priorities for the coming days.

thanks

That rich list is sort of interesting. I think the key point I take away is that way too many people leave their coins on exchanges.

That's the same thought I had, mine have been
in my wallet since buying from ipo.

I see a few have increased their stake, and very
likely because people sitting on polo and reading
the trollbox and panic selling due to all the fud!

Let's have a ritualised destruction and exile of the nasty coins on video and lots of pub. Doge style much funny. After that fork the buggers so everyone can sleep.  Cool

I'm sorry, but I want to have it, but I don't know how to get in addition to the faucet, I also have no way to download win wallet, please send the wallet uploaded to mega, thank you

there are plenty of places where you can buy bitcoins, like here: https://bitbargain.co.uk/buy and once you have the bitcoin you can then go onto poloniex and buy XBC coins with your Bitcoin!

Hope this helps!!

There is a link to the wallet on page 1 of this thread.

!!DEVS!!

This is a great idea!

A video of the coins being destroyed with some epic music would both PROMOTE the coin and make the INVESTORS very very happy Smiley

Think about it.

One thing that crossed my mind (yes still not sleeping  Lips sealed)

We could set up a time to do this later today, but then when it's done the question will be lingering "Did he backup the wallet.dat" etc.

We have been working on getting our new wallet release together, and of course we are going to ultimately fork the wallet out. My question is do you guys want it roasted and have to wait potentially a few days before its actually removed from the network, or do you want to wait and have us toast it and end it with "everybody update your wallets now"  Grin

Keep the idea's coming. This will be a nice little break time from all the important projects.

Probably best to wait until the new forked wallet is ready to go.
Then burn the coins and end it with "everybody update your
wallets now"

Otherwise I can see a load of fud about the coins are still on
the blockchain......fud here!

I agree.
Better to wait until full package is ready. Everybody must be able to see that the coins have been fully, irreversibly, provably, destroyed. Provide as many proofs as possible and accept that there will always be doubters.  Cry
It will be amazing to witness the coin burning ( the problem) (Pythonesque "we are the Inquisition" style perhaps) and then the wallet (solution).
Plus this approach gives the devs a chance to get a few hours sleep. Grin
Great promotion idea and reassuring too.

Would it not be possible to also send the coins to a wallet with no valid private key, the same way counterparty was done? A smarter person than me would have to generate the address though Smiley
