I don't think we will witness anyone beating this record in T-20 anytime soon if I dare to say then, at least not in our lifetime. It could be possible in associate cricket but not in the internationals.

Even 6 sixes in an over looks doable and simple task when comparing 24 dots balls spell with 3 timber in a batting dominated format.  

Technically no one can "beat" this record, as he conceded 0 runs from 4 overs. Others will be able to equalize, but doing better than this is theoretically impossible. With the ICC expanding the tournament to 20 teams, we may find incidents like this happening more often. Still, it is hard to believe that this Ferguson guy, who got whacked all around the park in the IPL a few months back is now performing so well for his national team. PNG still made a somewhat decent total of 78.

Read more into it and found out Canada's Saad Bin Zafar (Originally from Pakistan) was the first cricketer to achieve this sort of feat, which was against Panama in t-20 WC America's Region Qualifier and his stat reads 4-4-0-2.

Well, in this WC, many bowlers got some juicy stats so anything is possible.

Lockie Ferguson managed to achieve such a record against Papua New Guinea yesterday. He only scored 24 balls out of 24 balls but not like that he picked up three wickets in 24 balls. I never thought that such things can happen in cricket and also in T20 format. After Lockie Ferguson's record yesterday, I think maybe the rest of the players can make the impossible possible.  Lockie Ferguson's career best bowling might be another match in terms of wickets but he is the only record holder for what he has done in this match.

New Zealand lost by perhaps a huge margin of 84 runs against Afghanistan. So even though New Zealand performed very well in the last two matches, it has no value.

Nicholas Pooran scored almost 100 runs and it seems like that West Indies are the favourites in this World Cup as they are in super form.

I have not seen any other team in this format of cricket recently, who is so confident in each of their matches. They are one of the best teams to win this World Cup or least go in the finals of this competition.

Pooran was on a rampage he hit 8 sixes and 6 fours against Afghanistan and destroyed all their hopes. The only shortcoming was that he missed out on his century by only 2 runs. He got run out because of an unexpected direct throw from the boundary otherwise he would have got his first century in a T20WC. If WI plays in the same manner against the ENG, then the defending champions will be out of this tournament. The first game of the Super 8 will be played tomorrow between the USA and SA, if everything goes well the SA should win the match comfortably.

USA will give tough time to all teams . It played well against Pakistan and won the match and it also gave tough time to Indian team but Indian team won the match due to great batting. I don't think that it will be easy for the USA against South Africa. They gave a tough time to Pakistan because of Pakistan own fault. South Africa is a strong team with good batters and bowlers. USA is performing much better than other teams in this T20 World Cup. Although we have seen strong teams lose in the past so today's match against South Africa will definitely have a strong enough attack to win. Although the South Africans are not as strong as they used to be at present, if they perform poorly against the US, they will lose Math. Team USA will try hard to beat South Africa in today's match and I think if they give it their all they will succeed. If the performance of USA team players is much better than South Africa, we can expect USA team to win today's match. Almost everyone will agree with you that no doubt the USA team has been the most promising team among all the other new teams that we have witnessed in this World Cup and they have done really good to reach to the Super 8s.

Today is the day when unbeaten team South Africa is going to play against the United States of America. Until now they are unbeaten just because they have faced too many small teams and their group was too much easy as compared to other groups but sad for Sri Lanka that even they could not go to super 8s.
In their group there was Nepal, Netherlands, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka too. So, they easily qualified and now it is the time to see them against the United States of America and I think for sure they will win it again and still remain unbeaten after this match. The hosts will be willing to see their team go as far as possible in this tournament.

Where the fast bowlers should have bounced they did not get the bounce but the spin bowlers who are there got a lot more bounce than expected as well as a lot of runs.
New Zealand wickets are usually bouncing wickets where the ball falls on the wicket and the ball comes up above the waist, this is not the case with US wickets. Instead of blaming the condition they should be blamed for their performance because Australia India Bangladesh Afghanistan they qualified for the next round where New Zealand failed.

I would not agree with your point of view that because New Zealand did not played before in the United States, they lost the matches. If we see that this is the first time any ICC event is held in USA, so the pitch and conditions are new for every team. It is just how these teams react to the situation and adapt the situation.

Talking about the New Zealand's journey, they lost both of their initial matches with Afghanistan and the West Indies. Although they won the last two matches against the smaller teams (Uganda and P.N.G), but that does not matter much. Well they can say that if they had the matches with smaller teams first, then they could have idea about pitches and perhaps show a better performance against big teams. Sri Lanka is a top team in cricket game and played this game with good runs match and won. The Sri Lankan man cricket team is very famous world wide and watching their games is always enjoyable. From my side and very sorry for Netherlands. If won the match in Netherlands he had been losing all the previous matches. Sri Lanka played a fantastic match and won with some excellent runs for Netherlands would say Sri Lanka showed great skill and determination on the field securing a well deserved victory. Sri Lanka won by  83 runs and won the match. Charith asalanka is a very talented boy. Netherlands won the toss. Netherlands elected to batting first. The 38th match between Netherlands and Sri Lanka played at  Daren  Sammy national stadium. The best batting performance in the Sri Lanka man team was by charith asalanka scored 46 runs and 26 balls hitting 1 fours and 5 sixs. Sri Lanka won by 201 runs. New Zealand's performance in this T20 World Cup has not been good at all. It is natural that the climate and soil of each country will be different.

In this World Cup, we are just seeing nothing because no sixes, no boundaries, just wickets and also those wickets are not like wickets mean choosing the United States of America to host is such a bad decision. After all, we don’t have even good pitches where we can see sixes, and those pitches are also very unique because that pitch also came out after the match and then we can do any other sports there.

Correct, this game between USA team and South Africa team will be played after almost 1 hour. This game is going very tough not easy for both team and also we don't underestimate the effort of USA team and I know this is the first time USA team qualify for next Super Eight round games and other side, South Africa team also have a very experience player and played many big games like world cup and other series. Both these teams played amazingly in past games and qualify for this round. I choose USA team who will win this game which will start after few times. These teas New Zealand and Pakistan did not qualify this round these team did not their good effort and USA pitches also very aggressive and also we did not see any runs target like 200 and more. Only few teams made above 150 runs and set this target and also very low boundaries connect in this series. let's see at end of game who will win this game but I choose USA for their past games struggle with good statistics.

The first match of the quarter-finals will take place today where USA will take on South Africa. The USA are new to cricket but they beat the big teams to qualify for the quarter finals of the World Cup tournament. The bottom ranking full members should play more often against top-ranked associates (such as Scotland, Netherlands, Nepal and Namibia), at least in the T20I format. Why Zimbabwe is treated as a priority member, when better teams like Nepal are given only 1/50th of the funds in comparison?

No doubt, South Africa did bat well in the first 10 overs but then the USA did put some breaks on the scoring. Anyhow they managed to score 194 runs and i think it is beyond the capabilities of the United States to chase this big target. Quinton de Kock played a brilliant innings of 76 and i must say that almost everyone scored quick runs and never let the USA bowlers to settle in.



Since the USA bowlers weren't able to get quick wickets, they become under a lot of pressure and didn;t know how to respond to the South African attack. Although Saurabh Netravalkar and Harmeet Singh got 2 wickets each but overall they were struggling to find their right line and lenght. You can understand the frustration of the USA team as they tried 7 bowlers but still no success for them.

We can forget BIG-3 (National teams) accommodating any associates because these guys have jam-packed schedule due to amount of cricket they play, especially India.

I'd prefer if associates are playing against top domestic teams, pick any best local team for T-20, ODI or 4 day tests, similar to this.

Finally, BCCI doing something right and focusing on Nepal cricket, der aaye par durast aaye. I Guess Jaishankar's recent visit had some role in it.

Yes , you are right that decision of ICC is wrong. ICC should choose UAE for the World Cup hosting. USA have no professional staff to take care of pitch and in USA there is no trend of cricket. But that is politics and USA want to earn money by this World Cup and ICC collaborated with USA government and that is bad decision for big teams. New Zealand and Pakistan are out of  the World Cup while USA and Scotland are in the World Cup.Mist Probably USA and Scotland will lose in super 8 and they will not qualify for Semi final. When I think that , Pakistan and New Zealand should be in the super 8. Tournament will be more interesting and enjoyable.Pakistani team played bad but Pakistani team has potential to win against any team ,so Pakistani team is more dangerous than USA and Scotland.
