- Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
I'm interested to know the resources by reading which you determined that you belong to a certain gender in Bitcoin. In general, who conducts these statistics, and what does it mean? What do you think prevents women or men (of course, if you don’t come up with some other genders) from being interested in Bitcoin? What will happen to your thinking if you suddenly don't belong to the majority gender that is into Bitcoin? Will you quit studying, realizing that this is, for example, not a woman’s business? In general, what do you need to smoke to think about this? And why does this bother you so much? It's quite strange to see such questions, especially if you consider them the first.

Good day, everyone. I made my introduction post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5494763.msg64011857#msg64011857 two days ago, where I clearly stated the need to have an additional source of income that ensures financial independence. Unsure of where to start, cryptocurrency investment was what I had in mind. Along the way, I also foresaw the need to learn everything about it as much as possible. Surprisingly, I noticed that cryptocurrency is very broad, and Bitcoin happens to be at the center of it all, serving as the leading figure. Apart from that, I seem to notice that the majority of those dealing with cryptocurrency are of a specific gender. I observed this when checking through X (formerly called Twitter), those who teach about crypto on YouTube, and even on this forum. Thanks for saying that cryptocurrency is very broad and Bitcoin happens to be at the center of it all, coming from a beginner it shows that Bitcoin and altcoins do have different identities and standards, meaning they can't be missed together. Some people on this forum still believe that beginners are confused that some altcoins are Bitcoin, this makes me sad after Reading such comments, as of newbies are newborn babies.
Bitcoin is the Grand Master of all cryptocurrency, know this and know peace my man, it is the most decentralised, the most trustworthy of them all, it is not going nowhere and there is nothing to worry about, whereas altcoins have some headache you need to be worried about. This is why it is easier for members to advice you to invest in Bitcoin as a newbie, as for altcoins they are more complicated, you can easily lose money in altcoins, many fake and planned short term projects are available only with altcoins.
Here is my advice, learn everything about Bitcoin and how to keep it safe, start using DCA method to gather your Bitcoin, and when you have free times you can start researching how to look for the right altcoins.

As a newbie, should I focus solely on Bitcoin, or should I also acquire basic knowledge of altcoins?
The crypto space is like the deep blue sea and you could get eaten up by sharks. As a newbie, you do not have the required knowledge, so I'd advise you not to jump into crypto investment immediately. Take your time to know more about it and whenever you're ready, Bitcoin should be the top on your list because it's not a scam. However, like I said earlier, you need to acquire knowledge on how to keep it safe. Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
Bitcoin is not restricted by gender, age or colour.

If you want to know a lot of things then all you have to do is read, bitcoin has much better advantages compared to altcoins, but if you want to learn about altcoins there's no harm in that either. If you want to find the best investment then Bitcoin should be the main reason for you to go to this forum. Knowledge is never limited and if you want to learn about bitcoin then there is no harm in learning about altcoins. - Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
I have never heard of this because Bitcoin was not created to be limited to certain people and conversely, if people have the ability to invest then it can be done by anyone. I think you heard the number of gender percentages involved in bitcoin and maybe men are more dominant than women who are active in bitcoin.

Without mixing words, Bitcoin isn't gender specific most probably you have not done your research well enough or the scope of your research hasn't been broad enough to cover the are where you see people of both genders been very successful in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large hence making Bitcoin and cryptocurrency not gender specific at any point. There are people who have ventured into Bitcoin and irrespective of their gender, their diligence eventually got to pay off because they put in their best into their cryptocurrency journey and that helped them a whole lot to be able to achieve as much as they have and it has nothing to do with their gender. Focusing solely on Bitcoin isn't a bad idea as specificity at times speeds up growth but then having basic knowledge like you said about other Altcoins will aswell go a very long way helping you becoming a better bitcoiner probably you could get to seize opportunities with other Altcoins at times butt hen it's most better you just get to know as much as you can about Bitcoin and knowing about other Altcoins wouldn't be much of a stress on you.

The journey into the crypto space is a vast and if you think you can actually cut your way through the knowledge then I think you will just find yourself crying at the end because just as cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin is filled with wonderful opportunity, it can also be very dangerous because it has the ability to make or and also break you so understanding the basic set is very important especially when you have the money. Bitcoin knowledge is something that you need to take your time in learning as per the knowledge is vast and remember good thing can also cause alot of pain too.
That's why I explained why learning first should be priority to avoid problems. I am fully aware of that and your reply should be directed to OP instead of me although I understand your point. As the saying goes "knowledge is power" which is really true and if you don't have knowledge about the thing you want to do then you'll never get what you wanted and when it comes to crypto then you won't earn profit while there's also a possibility that you'll lose money.

Good day, everyone. Today, I decided to write a post about my new journey to learn about Bitcoin. Though I have been reading as many replies and threads as I could find, I believe I could do better by conducting further research and asking questions that might arise out of curiosity. Am still a newbie here too, but the little knowledge I have about crypto currencies especially Bitcoin I don't think it is gender specified, there is no gender, no age, no race in Bitcoin, it all about investing in it and wait patiently for your profit, yes I know crypto currency is dominated by the male gender, and also not all ladies will spare themselves the time to sit and make researches and read intensively just the way we do on this forum, so that's why you see the significant difference between the male and female involvement in crypto currency.

Here are my questions - - As a newbie, should I focus solely on Bitcoin, or should I also acquire basic knowledge of altcoins?
Hello, nice to know you. I'll try to make my opinion about this: 1. I will prefer to focus at first on Bitcoin. because for the first time, I know Bitcoin and this is special enough. The risk may be high, but lower than altcoins and probably much better than altcoins,. Basically, the Bitcoin cycle is quite clear and we can study it, but nothing is certain. Meanwhile, altcoins will almost follow the pace of Bitcoin. However, it really doesn't mean to ignore altcoins. because knowledge about altcoins is also very necessary. So don't just ignore altcoins like that. Altcoin currency markets are also very worthy of investment. Here are my questions - - Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
NO.

I think it’s best to learn about both Bitcoin and Altcoins. You don’t have to be interested in Altcoins to learn about them. Same way you learn about drug abuse, despite not planning to start doing drugs. But I didn’t say Altcoins are like drug abuse. Adding to that, bitcoin isn’t specific to any gender. We don’t even know if Satoshi had more females than males. However, Bitcoin is not specific to any gender, age, race, or anything. All it takes is creating a wallet and start receiving and sending money right away. Surprisingly, I noticed that cryptocurrency is very broad, and Bitcoin happens to be at the center of it all, serving as the leading figure.
I wouldn’t say that Bitcoin is the center of it all, instead I’ll say “…the start of it all”.

Here are my questions - - As a newbie, should I focus solely on Bitcoin, or should I also acquire basic knowledge of altcoins?
- Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
- Ultimately no knowledge is a waste which ever knowledge you acquire it will be of help to you but the truth is for the fact that you're here on bitcointalk forum you're likely to learn about bitcoin the most maybe altcoins are going to be extras that you will get along the line.
The say focus is the distance between you and your desire perhaps it's left for you to decide what you want, if you wish to go for bitcoin knowledge then you go for it. There are areas where you can learn the basics of bitcoin even till date I'm still reading from those sources so you have to focus on acquiring the basic bitcoin knowledge and the rest will be added to it. Just as you were told in your last post, bitcoin is the root of all other cryptocurrency so it's the first that you must consider to know before knowing others. - No buddy! Bitcoin can not be gender limited. Infact bitcoin has no limitations. Which equally means that anyone whether big or small, male or female has the ability to learn, know or own bitcoin. Bitcoin is another form of money, an alternative to cash or government (centralised) money hence anyone can have money. Money is not gender limited so bitcoin isn't gender specific as you put it.
One thing you must know is that men are always in front chasing the bag so you are likely to see a specific gender more than others but that doesn't mean that the other gender isn't here even in the forum we have both gender but the male are more.

Both Bitcoin and other coins involvement are risky but Bitcoin is less risky as when compared with other coins and investing in it requires a lot of commitment and fundamentals, I will advice you focus on Bitcoin with all you energy, and all that is required to enable build an investment with a good foundation by putting your best in other to ensure a successful investment. There is no age limitations when iy comes to Bitcoin investment, age is nothing but a number maturity is of the mind but at tender age there is need to be guided in order not to become vulnerable to scammers.

Of course bitcoin Investment is less risky compared to other coins that is why as a newbie is good to start with bitcoin investment.

If you have the basics knowledge of BTC and altcoins, is a good idea that will make you to achieve your purpose in the industry because that is what is making people to accumulate their wealth because BTC and altcoins use to pump higher during the bull run.
Since you are a beginner, BTC will make it easy for you to begin to earn profits from your BTC investment because it hard to fail their customers like the way other coins use to failed their customers just because they have weak team behind the coins.
As a beginner, you need to have many sources of income which is the best way you can hodl your BTC for the years you wish to hodl them before you can sell to make plenty profits.

I do recommend that you first focus on learning the fundamentals of BTC as it mostly covers and explains the very foundation of what most altcoins use their source of. If you have a basic understanding on how BTC works under the blockchain, this could also explain some of the other mechanics that altcoins have copied and improved on the blockchain of BTC. If you start learning the very essence on what makes cryptocurrencies, this could very well be helpful if you plan on learning some altcoins in the future. Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
Let me ask you a question: IS MONEY GENDER SPECIFIC?To be honest, I am somehow confused with your statement as I honestly think that BTC does not categorize nor associate with any kind of sex/gender. Investment is for anyone who is willing to risk their resources for a potential return in the future. Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies do not discriminate in its nature- it is open for everyone regardless of what their sex, race, and even age for as long as you understand its very foundation and core.

For me, I suggest you focus on learning about bitcoin so you will not lose your money in altcoins, and that can give you a bad impression of bitcoin because you will think that is how Bitcoin works. If you learn about bitcoin and decide to keep your money in bitcoin, you will be covered, and no government financial policies can affect you. The government of a country can wake up one morning and implement a policy where, for any transfer of money you do, a certain percentage of money will be taken by the government and it can't be accounted for. But bitcoin self-custodial will help you to eliminate such policies because it gives you total control of your money, and no third party can tell you how or when to use your bitcoin or scrutinize your transactions. Bitcoin was created for everyone in the world; both genders can use it if they wish to do so, but you can't force someone to use bitcoin.

We can also learn as an autodidact and many of the facilities can also be used whether looking for websites or blogs that specifically discuss the latest BTC developments. I personally think like this, whatever we follow should have a teacher who has experience in the crypto world, whether he is a trader or a financial expert. So, when we make some mistakes, it will be easy to resolve and have a quick solution that has been proven to be effective if implemented afterwards because we will invest our money in BTC. Even if you want to buy something other than BTC, just ask him again.

As a newbie that you're I will advice you to solely focus on Bitcoin because it's the leading, reputable and trustworthy coin in the crypto space.Bitcoin may take years to give you the returns you desire but trust me you won't regret investing your capital into bitcoin as a matter of fact most altcoins you see in the market cap may dump and never pump again, so it's better you focus on Bitcoin rather than being a vulnerable to scam. - Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
Both genders can participate in Bitcoin.Being a female doesn't deprives you from participating in Bitcoin, the reason why you think that a specific gender can participate in Bitcoin is because everyone appear anonymous so you can't know any user except the user is using KYC(know your customer/client).

You can focus on several types of knowledge, which you don't have to focus on just one, such as knowledge in Bitcoin. Because if you can gain more knowledge through the focus you use, of course it will also be better for you who are still a beginner. However, because you are still a beginner at the moment, there is no harm in focusing on Bitcoin knowledge first and then you can use the time to find more other knowledge. Because the more knowledge, the better it will be for a beginner to be more enthusiastic about working in the crypto space. Is Bitcoin gender specific ?(is it meant for a specific gender?)
No, I've never thought about Bitcoin like that because from what I've seen so far it really doesn't exist. Because there are also women who like Bitcoin and even love Bitcoin more than any other asset, as well as men who may be more dominant than women when it comes to buying and storing Bitcoin. However, what you need to know is that Bitcoin is not limited by gender because Bitcoin is created for everyone and can be owned by everyone who already has knowledge and trust in Bitcoin.

Take good decisions for ourselves. Bitcoin and altcoins are both different and we can clearly understand the fact that bitcoin is ranked top because of market cap and its also very essential and regularly for long runs. We should go for the basic knowledge of the market and understands the cross margin. As a newbie, it's always advisable to follow up the space and the trends, no time to relent because learning never ends.
