If there is a new conference in Amsterdam I make sure that you can pay with BTC in a coffeeshop Smiley.

Give details later Smiley, first have to persuade the owner of the shop Smiley

So are you going to book the thing with only Bitcoins? And are there any coffee shops that accept BTC? I imagine there should be at least one by now.
They didnt last year, but this year we have potcoin and dopecoin, doing the rounds. Should be interesting to see what the adoption rate is.

I very much doubt they'll be accepted over there (or anywhere else for that matter). If they were going to accept any coins it would be Bitcoin.

What would the shops need, or what assurances do you think they would want, to adopt/accept Dopecoin?

They'd need assurances that people will use it and next to zero people would. It's completely redundant as a coin.
