I want to generate a new sending address- so I go to address book click new address and it gives two blank boxes one for label and one for address. if I fill out label it says blank box is not a valid address (of course) so what do I do to get it to generate a new address? anyone . reg

You can't choose the sending address using the standard client. You can only generate a new receiving address (Receive Coins tab). The Address book is just as the name says - a way of attaching labels to addresses.
