If you intend to get a proper compensation from them, the only way is to hire a lawyer and file a formal complaint against them, but that will cost you a lot of money and time.

The chat log is from september 2023, if you're still gambling irresponsibly you shouldn't stay like that, hoping that any casino will exclude you. Hi,

Thanks all for the advise and confidentiality advice its much appreciated. I'll get working on what yous have all said.

To be honest at this stage I don't care about personal compensation, it's more about creating awareness as to how these companies operate.

At the start it was chasing losses, but this company will keep preying upon vulnerable gamblers such as myself so by raising this hopefully it helps to protect me whilst i go into rehab again, as well as helping to prevent the same thing happening to others.

It's good to hear that you're going into rehab. I hope it works for good this time. If I may suggest, to help preventing you from a relapse in the future, you might be interested to look into gambling blocking software like gamblock? I don't think they're free, but they might help to a degree.

Hi all,

Just to update, still having issues with gambling and its only sportbet.one as ive excluded from everywhere else and shops etc. This company just ignores any responsibility in helping vulnerable people and profit of my illness. Every other site ive signdd up and excluded right away to prevent me from gambling during relapse, only sportbet.one make it so difficult for me and have ruined my life the past two years!!!

Have you tried to use a 3rd party gambling blocker software like I previously mentioned? I might need a refresher course, but a quick glance at the thread tell me that it's perhaps easier to use a blocker software, as sportbet doesn't have a way to disable your account from their side.

I also don't think I've invited their representative here, so let me try to reach them and see if they can suggest another method to prevent you from gambling on their site.

Regarding the recent complaint from Stokesbomb, here’s our side of the story:

Stokesbomb requested self-exclusion, and we instructed him to use our settings, which takes five days to process. Due to a hacker attack, our system malfunctioned, allowing him to continue gambling during this period. We offered a $1000 bonus as compensation for the system error. With Casino Guru’s help, we came to agreeement to provide player a partial refund of 1000 USDT.

As a decentralized platform, we struggle to prevent new account creations without personal data tracking as player was informed repeatedly.

You are doing something that you do not want to do and for that you are blaming the other party. It's funny. If you are a gambling addict then the first thing you want to do is to seek help from your close people. Your family, friends. I know it works because I was there long time ago. I have excluded myself from many platforms, it does not work unless someone close from your family is always assisting you to check what you are doing and what not.

Give up the accounts to them, ask them to change details of the accounts, tell them to abuse the accounts, also tell them to do whatever they want with the accounts and you will not care for it. When you are writing here on this forum you are not helping yourself at all.

You need to find something to keep yourself busy, so busy that you will not have time to think about gambling. If you are adult which I think you are then have a lot of sex. Go out, if you can afford then go to abroad, create connection with real people, go to pub, cultural events, experience exotic dishes. Do everything that is related to create connection with human, to discover yourself. Enjoy your life.

Gambling is not going to entertain you as much as entertainment you will find from a group of people when you are a part of them.

Thanks for all the advice, the issue is smartphone i need for work. Otherwise I'd be done with it and sportbet.one seems to get through everything I've tried when relapsing. I get there's onus on myself, but once i make them aware of my issues, then surely the onus is on them to prevent vulnerable people from gambling, such as their website suggests. Only this morning they admitted their self exclusion wasn't working again.

An its not the first occasion this has happened. Anywhere else they would be fined heavily and returning funds that should never have been wagered.

You already received partial refund and bonuses to compensate their mistakes which is already acceptable move by the casino since they acknowledged their mistakes.

It’s unfair to request a full refund while you are the one who gamble and lose it all. You have a chance to end your addiction in profit if you play properly. You are using the reason of self exclusion error to bailout with your loss. You should continue your rehab instead of blaming it to the casino.

Even if the self-exclusion doesn’t have error, You will always find a way to play by creating new account or register on new casino so stop the full blame.

Sportbet.one you've conveniently left out the emails from Karen telling me to open up a new account for a bonus.

You've also left out 100s of requests and begging for yous to block the account which was also ignored and yous continued to allow deposits and allow me to play even when i made clear who i was and begged for account closure. As can be seen in previous evidence and more emails I've kept.

You said to me you cant close account for me, yet below is what yous have said to others. Yet because yous know I'm an addict yous allowed me to continue to deposit and wager all my wages and loans taken out even after i made yous aware how i was getting the money to gamble and it was destroying my life, yous still done nothing to help. No duty of care whatsoever. I get ive issues that I'm trying to combat, and even before i sent yous proof of this with a psychologist email for appointment for counselling because yous refused to believe me, again this is missing from what yous are producing.

Yous appear to pick and choose what action to take based on whats profitable, not whats advertised to be responsible by your website.

I might be wrong, given I have no comprehensive knowledge on how their self-exclusion works, but if I may infer from your multiple chat with their live support, when they say they can't process manual exclusion, they're saying they can't take action upon exclusion request made from chat and complaint email. They have a dedicated proper channel for that, and that's the only way self-exclusion will be processed.

They say that, yet their live chats say to email, their own terms and conditions say to email and previously they were able to close an account via email. This was prior to instructing me to open a new account for a bonus.

As can be seen in other discussions they are quick to be able to manually close other accounts of people that are profiting.

Again.. They bend their own rules to suit their profits.

How... previously back in the past was this? I'll assume it's at least as far as the case on CG? Around half a year ago? Two possible situation: one, they've made change in their account closure policy, or two, the one you're referring was that case where they close an account for multi-acc abuse, which they've explained to you via live chat.

Allow me to ask a question to cut to the chase, what outcome were you looking for from this thread?
