Hi everyone, I am going to attempt to turn 0.05 BTC into 1.7 BTC with football/soccer betting. I will be using this post as a journal for my bets.

The goal is to be able to pay for medical school! Feel free to follow or fade my bets! But always bet responsibly.

This is way too risky to even carry on  but better still isn't it okay to just look somewhere else to raise out the money for your medical school rather than loosing money to bets just to get it in double folds and I believe you have so much faith in the bets of fetching you the required amounts you desire.
I know being successful requires you takin risk and I wouldn't dispute that fact so Good luck on your chase of this bigger targets.

That's a very aggressive approach, I hope you last long. Starting with 0.05 BTC and bet 50% of it on your first try, just 2 losses and you are out. And also, your target is too high, so it's really hard to achieve. I believe some experts doesn't think like you do, they start with big bankroll but with a very conservative betting approach, like they set a small percentage of their entire bankroll, 5% or lower, yours is 50%.

Bad start for OP yet but we can't judge him until the bankroll is wipe out. It would be fun @op if you'll share your bet slip, honestly, I find that 0.025 a huge bet because currently at the rate of bitcoint it's already equivalent to $1,227... I could not even afford to set up a bankroll like that, so that's kinda risky for me but I like that we have a gambler here who really mean business with his goal.

you are not saving for your medical school but instead you are risking your money , because gambling
is not the place for saving instead a place for losing so i hope you will realized that before losing that amount
completely.

Why not instead of gambling , try trading because that would be less risky and knowledgeable than just

After reading this topic, I just guessed that the success of this your adventure is going  to be determined by luck alone. How come you have already lost 0.025BTC while you just started yesterday. You're staking a high amount in one go which is not a wise gambling strategy for the adventure you are taking. In your adventure to win 1.7BTC

It would be better to look for medical school fees from other source that is not gambling. I am wondering how medical school can be very costly like that. But you did not state the exactly school fees but your target.

If you want to use 0.05 BTC to win 1.7 BTC, you need 34 odds. That is very difficult to achieve. The chance that you will get that is small but the chance that to will lose the money is very high.

I also wondered the OPs initial source of academy financial sponsorship before enrolling for admission in the school.
Actually medical school fees can be much expensive due to the disciplinary level of professionalism and that alone should had got the OP to be prepared for the expenses.

So what would be his next step if the 0.05 BTC get lost while chasing that profit in gambling for his school fees?
This does not seem advisable at all. Most persons actually had professional dreams but could not attain it due to financial sponsorship barriers so they alternate to divert towards the field that is affordable for them snd they are doing so well and happy with the alternative.
The OP would had acted like that instead of being a school dropout due to inability of financial sponsorship or even considering how gambling may affect his academic attendance.

I like the positivity and your goal for yourself, I thought this is gonna be a long thread as turning 0.05 BTC to 1.7 BTC is possible but long process but I've seen that you've already lose 50% of your bankroll in just one bet, that's actually risky and pretty insane, that's literally 50/50 chance and I think it's better that you should study bankroll management first then control your bets. Instead of applying to medical school, choose other skills that affordable.
 
Instead of taking school in your country where the tuition fees is expensive, move to other countries that you can afford.

savingformedschool please gambling is not a way to raise money for medical school. It is too risky and you will be able to save money by not gambling than when you gamble. Gambling is not an investment for the future that yields any return.

Regardless of whether you want to gamble responsibly, the probability of becoming a gambling addict is high because you are not gambling for entertainment or fun.

You have other options to that would guarantee you a better result than gambling. Some of them are - crowdfunding, fully-funded scholarships, working part time, or even student loans.

Is this crazy enough or just taking the challenge? Paying for medical school from gambling is pretty much impossible to achieve mate, you have to be self-aware this can't be good behavior for you.

So far it's not good, but you are brave enough to try it even though the risk is just too high even though you've posted that you are comfortable with the money that you're going to lose, it's still going to hurt, I don't know your financial status you did not mention it, but I'm thinking that this is your journey to more bets.

It is very possible in gambling, and even though it is possible I will stick advice against it, I choose to hold this amount of Bitcoin instead of gambling it away, you can lose it all and have nothing else.

I think for me it is a huge risk, but since you said it is what you can afford to risk then you are rich, that is 3k worth of Bitcoin right now, many who have been buying Bitcoin since 2022 have not gotten to this amount yet, I wish you good luck in this suicide hope for Richy of yours.

You're not the first one who did this; compared to the first one, you have a goal that will make you do research and be careful about your bet because if you win you can pay for medical school. Still, unfortunately, the risk is too high, and you could blow it up, but it shows that we're right because you lost on your first bet and are half in your bankroll.

You mentioned that you are okay even if you lose the bet, but I hope you reach your goal. if you lose it, you will learn that gambling is too risky and no money should be used intended for important matters.

He's expectation is so high that's why expect for something bad to happen on his balance. And for seeing that he is already 50% down on his balance it show that he's not really good taking good decisions on his bets.

Much better for OP to study well his actions done since its doesn't mean its easy to bet on those sportsbook he can easily win and rich that ridiculous target. What can I say? 0.05 BTC is a reasonable amount of money, and you went ahead and bet half of that in your first bet. It seems that this challenge hasn't started out the best. Although it'd be best to judge when and if the OP ends up losing all his bankroll, until then, everything is possible. Your expectations are too high, and you're already halfway through losing your money. I'd probably be a little more careful if I were you. I personally wouldn't go ahead and bet such amounts, nor would I expect gambling to be my investment, but that's your call.
