Its been a while when I heard anything big news on polkadot. I think they had been surpass by other L2 projects in terms of users, really gotten hype before especially on parachain projects but it seems more and more users are liking L2 and than the polkadot ecosystem.

Maybe for trading purposes its still got a lot of upside but for ecosystem not sure.

Since you have been involved in the forum for several months, you must have researched Bitcoin and other coins in depth. Choosing an alt coin for investment is not bad if the coin is of good quality. The price of Polkadot coin today is above $7 and the coin is one of the top 20 coins.  Polkadot Coin has not grown much for a long time but has the potential to grow in the future. If I had to invest in altcoins, I would choose the above coins where possible, like Ether, BNB, Sol. Choose coins to invest in that are the least risky.

Polkadot was a project that aimed to replace Ethereum by providing a fast and cheap network and a better structure for smart contracts, and verification at the protocol level does not make there a need for second-layer solutions. The near future does not suggest that Polkadot will achieve anything better than Ethereum, and I have not heard anything about the future development of this blockchain, so it will not have a high value.

Talking about the coins that are promising with better future performance, i can tell that polkadot is one of such, but before you can make an investment on this coin, try to carry out research about this coin to see if you really understand all that is required of you from making an investment, then also make use of the amount in which you are able to afford to loose, lastly, have enough patients while waiting for the coin to perform well.

Although this is not my priority category, I also believe that it has potential and especially when a bull market appears, the top altcoins with large positions will still receive attention.

I don't know what your goals are with them, but anyway, in terms of potential, DOT is still something quite good, it's just that the way the developers are implementing it seems to be a lot slower compared to competitors in the same field. I think Dot has a very strong base and fundamentals as well but nowadays altcoins are not much into the market and meme coins are very much in demand.

To predict the future of any altcoin was very easy in the past few months but nowadays the market is very volatile and to predict something will not be a wise decision. As far as the project fundamentals and problem solving feature are considered it's worth it to Invest.

Polkadot has not been in news for a while and there hasn't been any major development recently asore investors has switched to better projects hence I am not positive about this coin because its been a while we haven't seen any positive signs, better to shop around and see other Layer 2 projects and rather reconsider as Polkadot is outdated.

As long as you see an active community of crypto token, there's always a strong impact to each and every person who has interest in holding specific asset. If you have chosen polkadot based on what you reached out through your research then, the decision was all yours to make.
That isn't a bad thing being new in crypto, what's important is you don't rush everything; you should verify all certain aspects in order to avoid regrets.

I think Polkadot is a project with a lot of potential. I like its unique approach to interoperability and scalability in the blockchain space which has garnered attention, and its ecosystem continues to grow. It is a big advantage and if Web3 takes off, that could be a major selling point. Being able to connect different blockchains seamlessly is a big deal. There are a lot of interesting projects building on it, which is a good sign for the platform's health.

But of course, when it comes to investment, still do your research and only invest what you can afford to lose.

Another Ethereum killer got bombed due to the development of layer 2 protocol in the Ethereum ecosystem. One of the main reason why polkadot gained major attention was due to its core strength of offering interoperability between blockchains. That feature is unique and still its core strength but I haven't seen any demand in the crypto space. That is one of the reason why the price of DOT has not gone up as expected earlier. Unless new projects start using it's ecosystem I doubt we will see an increase in the price.

Why don't you buy coin from the crowded blockchain? Polkadot doesn't have potential. It's kinda weird if you are willing to buy polkadot. it has no users sir. It's always declining a lot compared to the new blockchain like solana. Polkadot is nothing now. Many people have not seen any benefit from investing on it.

I think that the better if you are thinking to invest in another blockchain rather than polkadot. SUI is far better than polkadot even though it's still being placed below polkadot. It means SUI has a very big potential to reach polkadot's marketcap.

The better if you are also taking a look at the data. It's easy to say any have potential but the fact is totally different with the reality.

Not sure for many but for me? DOT popularity and potential is still there since it stays in rank 1-15 and
that is something a futuristic project can prove and polkadot is one of those even if I have leaved my polkadot
investment years ago yet i know that this project has potential but i chose those i believe more than this , if
you are planning to accumulate then better do in now or else you will be late for the party.

No doubt. He may be seeking an opinion but i think that it's not so hard in googling the current state of polkadot then compare it with the top blockchains with most active transactions this time. I think that if people with common sense can also try to get the answer from his question.

It's not that hard to use the blockchain acitivty as a very good method to determine whether the club is worth to invest.

I agree with you that polkadot will become a competitor to ethereum in the future, but honestly I'm not sure if polkadot can beat ethereum's popularity, even though polkadot has great potential to grow higher, but I don't think it will be able to match ethereum's growth, even so currently I am very optimistic that polkadot will always be in the top 10 CMC in the future,

don't fall in love with a token that isn't making you money. you'd be stuck to the kind of investment that is just a bad decision. those who invested in EOS a long time ago are just not happy with the kind of growth that it made where there is no progress in its development.

there are so many projects to look at. while there are more tokens out there such as Solana. Polkadot is left behind. this is even created long before Sol.

I didn't researched a lot about DOT but it seems to have a stable stay on the top ranking. If you're going to invest on it, make sure you look at its own community.
