Obviously, people have misunderstood the difference between school and education. Knowing that education takes place at home or any where else is very important to reveals the difference between school and education...

School is a place for special education with facilities that cannot be found in many places like home while at home every day education takes place like a child learning language and other things.

This tells the importance of school to humanity in the first place which cannot be underemphasize.
As for education, it is part of human life physically and spiritually.

Truth be told, our school (primary, secondary, higher institution) system needs absolute rejuvenation. With the way e b now no means say e no dey important.
The value of school still dey vital and visible globally so no be our 9ja wey no need am.
Recovery is needed so that proper education can go on... It is today part of part of most higher institutions to run entrepreneurship as a compulsory course but the whole thing na avenue for stealing from the student in so many ways.

It is only a fool that will fail to recognize the importance of education in our country. Despite the fact that there is no much white collar job in the country is not a good reason to say that education is not important because we need education to function well in the society without education the individual is just like a blind person, that is wallowing under total darkness. Imagine when a teacher (out of no job) who worked in a private school  dey compete for job with his/her students wey don graduate after 7 years. What mentality do you expect that to give the upcoming kids. Our schools are just producing graduate every year with no job to accommodate them. Although being educated doesn't guarantee you a job. That has been the mistake earlier and it was because that was how we met it from our fore-fathers. And back then we have only few graduates, so the available jobs can accommodate them. Education today means you are trainable, so use your education to study the environment to make good earning from it.

I was in a car yesterday returning back from work, I over heard one man complaining very bitterly that he doesn't know where this country is heading anymore. That he got 3 children and he have tried his best he worked very hard to make sure his first son and daughter becomes full time graduated from anything concerning school side, says but it seems his efforts was wasted cause up till now the children haven't gotten good work with the good grade they had.

They have applied to many companies most of them will tell them to bring money before starting, and it's not a little amount of money that you'll just wake up and get it immediately, then his daughter had the chance to work as a government worker but one man with a big stomach was asking her to sleep with him before anything else. That he wish those times he was wasting time working so hard to trained them in school he would have rather paid for them to learn an and work.

And with this it seems school it's important in Nigeria, cause if it's not important the FG wouldn't have be focusing to give out such amount out to the (NYSC). I know their are so many graduates at there not working yet. Do we still believe the government are going to do something about this work issues? Why not just be like as you're graduating you're working directly no wasting time. Wouldn't it be nice that way? I say make I try explain my mind. Waiting you got to talk about this issue?

In Nigeria Education is important but Education doesn’t determine that you’re going to make it or you’ll be successful. I hear a lot of people who says school is scam, but at the end of the day it important to learn how to read and write. The education isn’t a guarantee that you’ll get a job after school or after NYSC. The only importance I know about Education is learning how to read and write: when you finish school and you go to NYSC you’ll be taught a lot of things that getting a job is difficult here in Nigeria and you’re being advised to learn a skill.
How can someone finish school and you go to look for a job and they will be asking for 10yrs experience. How can a job opportunities be asking for 8-10yrs experience which I think doesn’t make sense for us. Getting a skill is more important that Getting education or undergraduate degrees

I dey tell people if you get the opportunity to go to school pls go but if you don't then don't feel bad but make sure to get a skill that you'll using because it gets certain skills you go get and you'll make money  beyond what a Bsc holder can make from that certificate.  But if you get the opportunity to possess both skill and university degree then it's all great. Life dey different for every person, you fit finish school no get job at last while person way just finished just get lucky find job but let make it clear, the graduates numbers are 10x more than the available jobs we have. So you really have to be extremely lucky to have your certificate pay you or either you get strong connection.

I was telling a friend today that if knew what I know today I wouldn't have gone to the university first, I would gained a good skill before university because university in this part of rhe world is useless in your finances. The university only teach yu how to act in behaviour and won't tell you how to be financially independent.  But if you have a skill before university you will be financially independent and schooling won't stress you at tall. Education is necessary but one must understand his environment and what the society needs. In Nigeria since the certificate won't give you a job because the government are not creating any  job one needs to navigate to other things that will put food on your table.   I can say education is important but not needed at this time of our economy.

I was checking around a topic to discuss and dis one captivated my attention. Though dis has been discussed some years back but you don bring am again discussion continues. I discussed this with one the staff in the education board in SUBEB and di man point out some valuable things from education. He said, Nobody should deceive the children that they are leaders of tomorrow because that is statement is no more in practical because after education there they can't find themselves in the parliament or in the corridor of power. And he also said there is no work for the graduates in anywhere in Nigeria. And there is no companies for the graduates to work and dat cause di fraudulent activities in di country. And why education is still important because of the new technology wey dem fit use am make legit money online but if na foe work then forget am.

This thing wey you talk so na just the truth, education no be anything again for this country, most people wey Dey go school na just to acquire some knowledge and also make e be say they go school, if not school no really Dey important like that expect say you person wey know person wey know person, that is through connection na e person fit get better work for our country, if not we just Dey find work Dey go or better own a business. Education is most important but the nature of the country has made it look some how but regardless we shouldn't neglect education simply because the government is not making provision for the educated ones and even to the non educated ones, regardless of not having a white collar job after graduation but there are several benefits of been educated because you will definitely be exposed to new things you never knew and also to be able to read fulently and write.

Even in nations that more corrupt than Nigeria, education is crucial. We shouldn't focus on the job market when they mention school because we know how difficult it is to find job in Nigeria after graduation, but rather on how important education will be to our lives because, first, you will gain more exposure than someone who doesn't go to school, and second, there's possibilities that you may find employment if you have your certificate because you never know what God has planned for you, but someone who doesn't go has no chance of that.

Parents should encourage their children to pursue professional courses because there are courses like engineering, health, and environmental studies that you may pursue after school without waiting for the government to find you a job, although admission to these courses is difficult.
