We are already in the 21st century when teen are interested in doing things they don't even have idea about. It is good we understand the time that we are in so that we can know how to discipline children on what to do and what not to do. Technology is moving very fast and it is good we strategize on how to talk to children and guide the from going too far doing things that would crumble the future. Gambling cam really have great effects and children and it is good we know how to react to them and talk to them in a way that will not take them far away from us. Gambling is not meant for the little once but it is quite obvious that children are going too far in gambling.

In this era, doing gambling is not much difficult. You only need to have some money or crypto and you can gamble at most of the sites. It is very hard to stop teens from gambling, because if we deny them gambling, they may still do it hiddenly without their elders or parents knowing about it.
The best thing we can do is to educate them and have a consoling sessions with them. Tell them the pros and cons of gambling and let them or help them decide if the gambling at such an early age is good or bad for them. They will not completely stop gambling but if they are able to lower their activities, it will be an achievement.

Without a doubt teens need to be educated about it, however are they willing to listen? After all we must remember that many teens today believe themselves to be more wise than other teens on the past and even wiser than most people in general, and when you believe yourself to be above others, it is unlikely those teens will hear their advice, so it is a very complicated topic as there is not really an easy way to solve this problem.

Playing video games is probably the biggest for parents today since as early as 8 years old, kids are already playing games like the Roblox and if they discover more games where they could wager money it will be another game to get addicted to. As they grow older the bolder they could become in wagering how much they have.

I can relate to this since I have kids who really enjoyed playing online games. But I make sure that I monitor what they're playing and also limit their use of gadgets. Because if you just let them explore (especially there are many influencers now promoting online casino) they might really try to play a gambling game out of curiosity.

Maybe choosing which school for your kids will help your kid's development and will not stray to gambling because they learn it from the teens inside the campus. There were schools prohibiting kids from using phones on their campus AFAIK.

Usually in private school. They don't allow their students to use gadgets to focus on studies (but this is during class hours).

The school has to be the one to focus more on this than those pronouns that teach them to be part of that LGBTQ. The schools today have lost their marbles and they even fired teachers who do not agree with these LGBTQ rights.

It is hard to see what exactly they do in their mobiles, but since they hold them horizontally and use both thumbs to tap, I doubt that they gamble. At least I dont know any gambling game where it is required to tap and/or hold screen with both thumbs. I am worried about their level of education, as I often notice, that each years, they pass exams with worse and worse results.

Are you talking about offline casinos? And being a licensed casinos, not a shady ones? They I would say that those teens with cash in their hands gambling career would end at the entrance of the casino, as guards wont let them gamble. I think not a single casino would want to risk their reputation and licenses in exchange for lunch money. But, nothing stops those teens from gambling between themselves. Play cards are in free access, and they can place bets on different scenarios between themselves.

Children aren't born with thoughts, arrogance, and attitudes; they have them after they are brought up, and the elders' upbringing towards these teens plays a big role in making them the way they are today.

If parents teach their children the ways and behaviors that can make them good when they grow up, they won't suffer from these things after their children become grown, so parents need to take care of these things, the upbringing should be done in a good way for children to be good and obedient when they grow up.

If my child isn't obedient, is disrespectful with everyone including me, does what isn't good for him/her, then it's all my fault because I didn't do my best as a parent.

I've seen it myself because there are just too many teens do gambling in my area, they usually do it in a group in a specific place.
The fact in my country, there are more than 400k teens (age between 10-20) who are participating in online casinos.
A sad news of course but it is the fact in my coutry as mentioned in most local newspaper.
Parents should be more responsible to their children by giving more attention to what their children do with their gadgets.

Or online. Lunch money will be taken from them by the online casino and they can always fake their ID's there if KYC is needed. Or, just one adult friend can lend his account in exchange for an interest out of the bets that will be made.

I would not say that controlling how children spend money is the best way how to act in this situation. These teens will turn 18 in several years probably, and nothing would stop from gambling. Better teach them how to manage finances more properly. And it seems that it is to late to pay much attention to what kids do with gadgets. They should have done it years and years ago. Now kids already are familiar with possibilities, and have friends or surrounding who gamble.

I like your suggestion, yes,it's very crucial as well.Even though you're not so consistent,you should be able to monitor their activities and attitudes more especially at this young age where they seem to be unaware of some addictions or unnecessary struggling to addictions.

I'll advice you find healthy alternatives that'll engage and indulge the children early against laying wrong foundations and Gambling prevention and education should introduced early.
Children/teenagers will think and refer to gambling as a social activity but it could give them more problems and stress to cope with.

Nice suggestion but I don’t think that would help very much. Kids forge IDs to get a drink at the bar all the time, it would not be that difficult for them to verify kyc on a gambling site. Gambling will remain a center of attention for the kids as long as their favourite online streamer is promoting the casino. They spend most of their time on their phones and watch these online streamers play video games and promote gambling sites, it’s safe to say kids nowadays listen to influencers on the internet than anyone else in their life.
