Still no news on a more mainstream wallet like Electrum supporting it?
No news so far, but I dare to say that Sparrow is as good as Electrum, if not better in some areas.

this list, most Silent Payment wallets don't offer "privacy-preserving scanning".
It makes me wonder how much bandwidth it uses per week if the wallet supports the privacy-preserving scanning.
Cake wallet, BlindBit wallet and few others already support privacy privacy-preserving scanning, and others will implement it in future.
I'm not sure whether Cake can handle it correctly. There have been some complaints relevant tot Silent Payments transactions within its community.
