We Are close to and it's serious.
However it's our own bad karma we are bad while you get dead instant that's another story but If you start suffering that's hell.
I guess people in USA will die instant in most cities also in russia but finland sweden ukraine balarus and Baltics area will be like torture hell.
Nobody dont want but we people are bad to each other maybe in the next lifes we are better people.

However nuclear attack should be one sided not by agreement of both USA and russia Because If both of them will launch nuclear missiles then it will be bad for bigger area of world so one should take down other If nuclear is the way to go.
But i guess we are in the situation when USA russia both can't give too much Hint it's like in the old Western movies winner shoot first.
People who really got info are worried about and there will be no more talking it just If one country see that only way is to attack first to bring peace to the world then that might be case the Donald trump is also worried about.
Best way would be that russian people will urge Putin to stop war in ukraine that's the best and most easy way to peace right now.
As tentions high china should also behave normal because things not looking good off course people in russia biggest cities like moscow and people in biggest cites of USA Are the lucky ones.

If we don't have nuclear warfare, at least we can plan on a few more pandemics. Although, I am quite disappointed in the pandemics that biological laboratories have been producing. Covid-19 was a f@#$ing joke. Biological laboratories are too incompetent to make something that removes someone who isn't a f@#$ing boomer, and they are also too incompetent to keep it in the lab. I bet that the people in the Wuhan Institute of Virology did not publish their research where they used gain-of-function to create Sars-Cov-2 because their research was not interesting enough to remove anyone who was previously healthy. Such gain of function research is not notable enough nor is it interesting enough for publication nor does such research have enough of an effect on Earth to be remotely funny. I am deeply disappointed in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Hmm. To stay safe from nuclear weapons, I should really move far away from the East coast of the USA. Florida, New Jersey, and downstate New York will have approximately zero survivors. South America or Australia would do fine. No puedo vivir en Estados Unidos por que Rusia tiene misiles. And as a bonus, South America has capybaras and jaguars which are both cool animals even though jaguars eat capybaras because big cats eat big rodents.

I agree with you. What was dropped in Hiroshima by the US government does not compare to what we can see today or tomorrow. I believe that leaders are smart enough to prevent the colossal destructive consequences that a nuclear war could bring. The world will disappear forever as we know it. Now many politicians are not aware of what they are doing. Let's pray that they don't cause any trouble. Because the outcome of the political game does not depend on us ordinary people.

War and conflicts are in humans nature from early days but as we are having technology now we are doing things without any rules which are terrible like few centuries back we were never having attacks on civilians and wars were happening outside cities with things were sorted out with rules and regulations, but now we are developed, and we are having nothing to follow just killing and controlling others assets and areas are the most important things which are bringing us near the nuclear war which could be huge disaster for the humans as nothing will be available after this nuclear.

I think everyone agrees that the thought of nuclear war is very disturbing. I just
find it insane how anyone, Putin, Biden, Kim Jong Un, Xi Jinping or any other leader
could proceed with launching a nuclear weapon.

You've watched too many post apocalyptic movies like the recently popular Fallout series. We are not close and nobody is going to launch because that would mean complete destruction of the planet. There are more nuclear weapons around the world that would be needed to kill all life on Earth, or even change its orbit. They know it which is why nobody is going to launch.

Also, one of the most dangerous facts on a country having access to nuclear weapons is that in order for those weapons to be deployed and used against the enemy it only takes the green light of a single person within the chain of command. So within practical terms, one single person within any of those countries could cause the destruction of the planet as we know it.
The end of the planet could be further from happening if in order to use those nuclear weapons it was necessary for several people of the government to agree on fire them against an objective.

During my research I have also found even crazier proposals for the president of the United States to think twice before using nukes. It was proposed that the key to launch those weapons was hidden within the body of one of the President's assistants and in order for the president to use nuclear weapons it was a requirement for him to murder his assistant and get the key out his body, it was supposed to be a tool to deter the president. I never got implemented, I think.

Humans have been crafting and designing weapons to harm and kill fellow humans from the time of creation, it's nothing new that individuals, families, communities and nations have always been engaged in conflicts and warfares. Sadly with the current state of the world right now, we have a high chance of witnessing Nuclear wars at our time since tensions among rival countries are endless and you have bullies that are conquering territories just because they have the means to do so. I think all these issues where nations are on each others neck, the USA and Russia cold war, Russia and Ukrainian war, are all politically motivated. as for me if they can come together in a round table and sit down to iron out their issues, the whole world  would become a more better  place and peaceful, I remember in Bob Marley song when he said, we shouldn't have the fear for atomic energy or what you call nuclear war because none of them can stop time. So for me this battle of supremacy and intolerance between Nations should come to a halt, because it is not taking the world anywhere, I was just looking at a documentary the other day about the destructions in Ukraine, and I said to myself that this war would have been avoidable because at the end of the day is needless.
