OP you are correct that sanctions for criminal offenses are becoming more lenient. Most countries have abolished the death sentence penalty and replaced it with a life sentence. However, some nations have not changed their legal system to correspond with the present order. Some nations still have the death penalty in place and are not even willing to change it.
I also agree that in the future the crypto space will be highly regulated that it will be illegal to come up with these worthless shitcoins. Standards will be set to purge the sector from these pump-and-dump shitcoins.
The world has experienced radical improvements in technology that have made tasks easier and faster. But these advancements have not led to a reduction in poverty rather it is increased the gap between the poor and the rich. Since I was born I have had my elders talk about the good old days and have also learned from experience that the past has been always better than the present. So I doubt if the future will be bright as OP is indicating.
My point was that we move more towards human respect and human rights.
More and more over the history we see that societies become more respected of human life and humans safety.
Im not saying bright but think about blockchain the world becomes more transparent and world will be more run by consensyus mechanisms and everything will be visible on blockchain so that will eliminate corruption and violations of the rules and agreements.
Everything will be tokenized and put on blockchain so you can't steal so easy anymore because of our world will be transparent more.
Also my point was that what we think it's normal today will be unthinkeble later ....imagine times before public hangings of punishments..Im sure people was thinking that's something very normal.
World will always change when few different ways of thinkers will try to change it and now we have blockchain and cryptocurrency the next revolution in finances but as usual every revolution will face with resistance.
