For me e no really matter at all. Crypto still don grow so much for Nigeria despite those who are negative about it without any knowledge of it. As a community make we focus on the positive side and how far we have come in just a couple of years.

We are no more in the days that people will call bitcoin scam if not deep ignorance. People around me know that it is not scam but that it is very risky. Bitcoin has gone beyond the days people are calling it scam. All I see since like 2 years ago are Nigerians using it in songs and movies.

It's only a person that doesn't know how to make his/her own research about anything crypto currency that believes on the negative things consing Bitcoin that other people are saying. If anybody is doing his or her own research, he would not easily believe in what others are saying consing bitcoin, even if the person believes, he or she should make sure to try and do his her own research before making a conclusions. Bitcoin is never a scam scheme but I think that most scammers are using Bitcoin as a pattern to scam the innocent people that are lazy to read and understand the world of crypto, because they allows someone who they don't know to tell them false thing about Bitcoin.

There is a saying that says, “Your bad will spread like the smoke in the air very fast, but your good will not go out of your room." That is the same situation here, but thankfully many Nigerian youths have started knowing that bitcoin is not a scam but just a scheme to get rich over night, but the main thing that they focus less on is the knowledge. Because based on the place I lived, I know many people, including the older ones, also have less knowledge about bitcoin, but I know that people living in some rural areas will still view it negatively as a scam. 

Sometimes enlightening people is good, but people in Nigeria will always expect from you because even if you enlighten them, they will still be expecting you to give them money because they will say that since you have done it and succeeded, you should share it with them. They will also do it when they have the means, and the fact is that they will never invest in bitcoin.

Sometimes people believe all this people blindly because they see them as mentors and people that know more than them so whenever they say something, people fail to double check. We are the point in history where every information you get can be verified easily from the internet, you'll be doing yourself a lot of harm if you take people's opinion simply like that without verifying yourself.

Nothing new under the sun about how those that are ignorant about bitcoin picture bitcoin to be with the false ideas and messages they get and ferment all over. Still beat my imagination, that at this age where everyone is supposed to be enlightened to some large extend as per the easy accessibility of the internet where you can do your own research to dig in and know for yourself about almost anything. The only set people that see Bitcoin as a scam is those that has no or little knowledge about Bitcoin, for me , I think Bitcoin has outgrown the level of people still thinking that it is a scam, the record is straight, the value is everywhere for everyone to see unless people that are limited by the access of smartphones or Internet service, Bitcoin stands on a smooth priocess, this has earned a good reputations, Bitcoin has accommodated many wealthy folks in its investment terain, so I don't see why an informed person will see Bitcoin as a scam, although scam is in its rise but not in Bitcoin setting, as an investor once you know how to buy and the wallet to use in holding your Bitcoin then you are good to go, in every investment, rumour carriers do exist but the ability for you as inveetor to figure out what you want is what make you special among all, as for me no matter what they say, I am informed and no one can change my mindset towards Bitcoin investment.
