Mistakes are only good when it's being committed by other people and we are using those of their mistakes to learn/remold ourselves into making sure we never commit that same mistake as they other person did.
A degenerate gambler doesn't seem to see this from your own perspective; especially since learning from other people's mistakes would mean reading lots and lots of negative reviews and documentaries of experiences he needs to learn them from ..." I haven't seen an educated illiterate in my life.. one of the primary reasons why we go to school is to learn how to THINK "
Literally, 95% of gamblers get to learn about so many ill fortune on their own.. I.e, after falling for it - sometimes, that could be something he's read about already, but falls for it still.
this is why we must strive to learn not to make mistakes ourselves, and when we must, let it be a mild mistake that doesn't have too much negative impact in our life, family and finance.
The sad reality is that we all stand atleast one chance to fall for simple mistakes that'd certainly cause a big regret as long as we gamble. It's in the midterm, that we, clutching onto headrest and regretting deeply , would have to make a decision of whether to quit or try harder.
