No Champions League trophy; No Carabao Cup; No Europa Cup; No Premier League trophy; Arsenal are going to another season without a trophy. This is not the result I expected, even if Arsenal were not going to win the Champions League I thought they would at least make it to the finals.

The UEFA Champions League elimination last night at Parc des Princes stadium was no drama or shock to me, I do know Gunners will be relegated but on what grounds? By losing to Paris Saint-Germain home and away. Gunners relented too much in the first leg at Emirates and did their best at Paris but it wasn't just good enough since the host prepared enough. Arsenal are the bottlers club this season, they didn't escape the name after having some brilliant performance against elite and mediocre oppositions, they are dissapointed. Mikel Arteta have nothing to show for since taking over as Arsenal headcoach, they've remained consistent in retaining the second position, what more can he ask for?

Maybe we should start from the analysis on how the match started, honestly i like the  start of of the match performance from Arsenal from the first 20mins because they played well, then when the sudden goal comes in, everything demoralized them and they could not hold unto possession the more and then PSG are on upper hand.

Then going forward to the end of the march, i noticed the pick up performance with the Arsenal players, but the issue was that there is no enough time anymore, assuming that had equalize right form the start, it would have been better, also, the loss of penalty to PSG is something horrible because over confidence is what kills them to lose the penalty, i must applaud Saka for making that one goal, but there is just more way to go than just that single goal, PS|G should get ready for Inter because they are going to be well served as it is hot.

I am one of those who are pessimistic about Arsenal and that happened not because I underestimated Arsenal's ability but because their mentality is not at that level at all. Sometimes football is not about who plays better but how the mentality deserves to give up before the match ends as shown by Inter Milan when they beat Barcelona.

I prefer Inter Milan as a candidate for champion even though PSG also performed very convincingly. But if asked who I would support, maybe the answer would be Inter Milan because I see their mentality is so good and never gives up before the match ends.

Arsenal simply didn't have enough composure and attack ability to threaten PSG. Merino is a fine player but he is not a central forward Asrenal made a big mistake not to buy a new forward when Gabriel Jesus got injured, they where left with only Havertz at that moment and they should have been wise enough to cover a position and buy one good attacker but they didn't and now pay the price.

For the final my candidate is also Inter they look better then PSG.

Psg has always been better than arsenal and right from the start I knew that they wouldn't stand a chance against psg.. But the match yesterday was a bit boring, I expected it to be like that if inter and Barcelona, arsenal didn't put up much of a fight...it was easy for psg to win both in the first and second leg..from the looks of it psg is going to be a challenge to inter Milan, between these two teams I really don't know which side is going to win because they both mean business this season.

But not many know like that. Someone was arguing with me before the match started and she Said Arsenal would win PSG with 3-0 and when the match started and PSG scored the first goal in the first half of the game many of the arguments in the compound reduced.
It was B. Saka helped Arsenal to score one goal in the 76 minutes, if not it would have been shameful to Arsenal for the 2-0.

They did not win Premier League and Champions League title with Arteta so far but he did good improvements for Arsenal recent seasons. From being able to compete for Premier League titles in two previous seasons to having a first Champions League semi final match after many years, it's good development. In Premier League this season, they did not do well enough but they did it well in Champions League. I don't consider any club came to Champions League semi final is a bad team but to win Premier League and Champions League titles, Arsenal must improve more especially at their striker position.

In the latest match with PSG, many times I saw Saka at center of their attacking system at a position of striker. Arsenal must spend money from their amazing Champions League season for a top class striker who can increase their chance of winning big titles.

If they continue improving, they wil win titles in future and even a failed coach like Ranieri could win Premier League title with Leicester City, Sarri won Scudetto with Napoli, so I believe Arteta will win big titles with Arsenal in future.

Both of them deserve to be in the final after defeating other tough opponents. This final feels very special because the two teams are meeting for the first time in history, previously they only met in friendly matches, once they met directly in the final of the most elite competition in Europe. PSG are very ambitious to win the UCL trophy for the first time while maintaining the opportunity to achieve the Treble Winner, while Inter are very ambitious to win the 4th trophy in their history after last winning it in 2010 when Jose Mourinho was still in charge.

Indeed, both deserve to be in final because they really fought for it, it was a big obstacle for both of them, especially for Inter Milan which narrowly escaped by defeating one of the strongest team in the Europe. Inter Milan really tried their best to overcome Barcelona who are currently the strongest team and also the best team work club that destroy any teams that comes their own way, Inter Milan are just been lucky to escape their missile.

PSG is the only team in this competition that eliminated the entire England team, actually I will give them that credit because they have done a lot, even though I was also a victim because I was fully supporting Arsenal to qualify to the final since they haven't won it before. This final is going to be a tough one, but I prefer PSG to win then Inter Milan.

I will bet on PSG to win, they have a team that looks hungry for this competition under this new manager to win it for the first time. The coach also has the experience and PSG attackers are very fast and deadly. PSG plays well in the first half of games and if they are able to score their goals in the first half, they could switch to a defensive strategy in the second half and try to stop Inter Milan from scoring. If PSG wins, will Ousmane Dembele be the candidate for the Ballon d'or?

Although with the way PSG's performance is going currently, they can win the Champions League trophy against Inter Milan. Even his mentor, guadiola is playing with a striker and yet the student feels the need to play uniquely with no striker at all. Well I can't say much but I just feel PSG wasn't really their class and the only reason they won Real Madrid is because Madrid themselves aren't at their game so they struggle to meet up with the gameplay as they were busy just trying to cross the ball and get a goal through that means.

Sorry, Arsenal is full with mediocrity. No winning mentality owning by them, and saying they could win the trophy easily after they won against Madrid is so dumb. I know they tried to create mindgame against other teams, but it's just becoming a boomerang for themselves.

Their decision is final and he trusts it's the correct one, so why exactly was he whining in the post match talk? Well I watched the game alongside many other fans and saw nothing wrong, the ref was excellent last night. Barcelona should quite whining and move. Inter Milan deserves to be in the finals.

100% agree the finish line was a letdown. Yet, Arsenal cracked in the exact same pattern again. This isn’t new. Odegaard even admitted the games were lost "in the boxes". same story vs Sporting last season, same in the league run-in vs Brighton, Forest, etc.

No elite 9, no Xhaka-like presence when the fire comes. Jesus, Havertz out, Martinelli isolated, and Saka overworked to breaking point. Barcelona eliminated many strong teams from this tournament that made people to continue trusting Barcelona to lift the trophy, because they have the squads to finish inter Milan both first leg and second leg but they made some mistakes that make them to lose the trophy. Inter Milan will be more favored to win because of their extraordinary performance in the semifinals. Beating Barcelona is not easy. Inter Milan has a solid defense and dangerous fast counter-attacks. However, on the other hand, PSG is also a team with a pretty good defense. One of the reasons why Barcelona could lose is because they implemented a high defensive line and their defenders could not anticipate Inter Milan's fast counter-attacks. But I think PSG will be a more difficult opponent for Inter Milan than Barcelona. You can see how PSG plays very solidly. They are very disciplined and patient waiting for the right moment to score goals. They might only score 1 or 2 goals but then they will form a defense that is difficult to penetrate. Here I favor Inter Milan to become the UCL champion this season.

English premier league fans always refer to French teams as farmers league.

I think we can see the term "farmer's league" in a positive way. Farmer's league shows that only one or two teams really dominate the league and they are really on a different level from the other teams. They can almost win the league every year because they have no rivals. And the fact is that PSG in Ligue 1 is a team that plays in the farmer's league. But that doesn't mean that PSG's quality is far below the teams from the premier league. If we talk about the quality of a league then the EPL is certainly better than Ligue 1 because every team in the top 5 or top 10 competes with each other. But if we talk about clubs then PSG could be one level above the teams from the premier league.

I can only suggest them to replace Arteta as soon as possible. It's so stupid when they still a coach who has spent like 700 millions since 2019, and only winning FA cup as their last trophy 5 years ago.
How long they need to keep patience to the Arteta until they can win the trophy again.

Last night I watched one of the worse team in England play in the champions league, the greatest stage in club football and I felt pity for seeing such players continue to try every season but not better results to show for, I'd agree with you about Arteta to be sacked because the only mentality they have is go out there and disgrace the fans, Arteta has failed to give the fans something to celebrate with, he should be fired.
Come on brother, Arsenal was like Real Madrid in this game that's why many including myself tipped Arsenal to win and PSG never stood a chance despite the odd, Arsenal could have buried this game a long time ago in the first 30'mins but where are the opportunities going, nowhere.
PSG came to calm the pressure that was on them, but as soon as the first goal went in the pressure was now on the Gunners and they could not control themselves instead they continue making more mistakes and I have to say this, I believe that at this stage Tottenham Hotspur are better than Arsenal.

Been saying PSG was totally different, but some still being so harsh with Arsenal's h2h against PSG. H2h totally irrelevant when it comes to the UCL. They also never learned from their mistake. They have time to signed attackers, but refused to did it.
This is the consequence they received from their stubbornness. Their big head costed them everything and ended as a trophyless team.

I believe they will be doing the same thing as long as Arteta will still there.

Being so stubborn and finish the season with empty hand. It's not something to be proud.

The champions league is for clubs that are serious, that have a well complete squad and Arsenal has not been up to speed. PSG have everything to get the job done and Arteta said the Gunners are the better side in both legs, is a shame that he still have mouth to say those things to the press when he lost and I thank God that all the goals PSG scored never had anything to do with VAR if not he'd say the officiating was the cause of why they lost the game. At this point Manchester United and Tottenham might be playing the finals, both teams are better than Arsenal who are occupying the 2nd position in the EPL table, how I wish Manchester City and the other teams that are struggling to get the champions league spot.
