But other teams including AC Milan could give them a tough time even though they have the better squad to beat them, it won’t be that easy for them in my opinion.

Atalanta started their season well. Atalanta started the season with a 4-0 win against Lecce in the first match. But Atalanta cannot maintain this consistency. Atalanta lost the next two matches against Torino and Inter Milan. Atalanta suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat against Inter Milan. Arsenal is also usually have problem in away games in Champions League as we watch them in last season so they also need to improve their quality specially they are missing quality finisher which give them good number of goals in big events.

I also initially thought the same as you, Milan will give their best performance this season with their new coach, but it turns out that Milan's performance was very disappointing at the beginning of this season and has not been able to get full points, while their rivals such as Inter and Juventus have won more points in the last 3 matches and are in first and second place in the standings, while Milan is in 14th place for the time being.

Milan will most likely have difficulty competing in the UCL because their first opponent is a top EPL club, while Liverpool, while in their best form, I think Milan will have difficulty facing Liverpool.

Against all odds we are having few teams at their worst in Italian league specially AS Roma and AC Milan are having terrible time even we are had some good attacking soccer from the AC Milan, but their defense is not perfect as they needed they are conceding two goals in every game mean things are surely looking for improvement.

No doubt if they will be play like this we will have no good time for them in UEFA Champions League, and they will be faced early exit which will be not good deal for them because they are having second-best record in this competition. They are going to face big teams specially Liverpool which is famous for their aggressive approach and their start in Premier League is impressive, so things can go against them badly if they are not going to have some good changes for improving their defense we have short time and challenges are big.

Atalanta is one of the best representing Serie A in the Champions League this season, but I agree that there are still stronger teams than Atalanta in the Champions League so it is very likely that Atalanta is not on the favorites list.

Milan's main weakness is their defense. And I don't think they'll improve their defense any time soon. AC Milan have dropped points in all three of their matches due to poor defence. The team conceded 6 goals in 3 matches and managed to score 5 goals. Another important point is that Milan's opponents were not very strong in these three matches. Even so, Milan conceded 6 goals.

Milan's opponents in the Champions League, Liverpool, are very strong. And Liverpool have plenty of talented players in their midfield and forward lineup. The players are also in good form now. Liverpool will not find it difficult to break down Milan's weak defence. For these reasons I think Milan have no chance of winning against Liverpool. However, football is always unpredictable. Favorite teams are not always able to win. But I would say it is unlikely to happen in this match.

Considering transfer window is closed, they are not going to cover their defense at all, it's done and they are going to be forced to play with this one. It's clear that they are not going to do well in the UCL, it was known even before they started doing anything honesty, we knew that it wouldn't happen. Milan is not good even in Serie A, let alone be good at UCL, so they will probably either fail at group stages, or they will fail one step above when they face a real opponent, it's clear what they are going to do.

If you want to do well on the Champions League platform, you need an experienced squad and an experienced coach. Atalanta's performance this season is not as good as expected. Atalanta have lost two out of three matches in Serie A. And in this situation they are not easy to do well in the Champions League.

Moreover, Atalanta will play against Arsenal in the first match of the Champions League. Atalanta team is weaker than Arsenal. Arsenal have a strong squad and are in good form this season. We have seen Milan perform well in friendly matches before the start of the season. We thought AC Milan would come back stronger this season. But we have yet to see Milan play well in their three matches in Serie A. The Milan team could not win even one of the three matches. Milan have drawn two and lost one.

Milan's overall condition seems weaker than last season. On the other hand, the Liverpool team is in a very good position. Liverpool's players are now very confident after winning three matches in the Premier League. Therefore, the probability of Liverpool winning against Milan is the highest. I would say Liverpool will make no mistake in this match.

Milan are far from their legendary days. After finishing second last season and being the biggest contenders for the title, Milan have been mediocre this season. They are playing a football that has nothing to do with last year. In my opinion, they don't lack in terms of squad, but they have an inefficiency caused by the management and the coach. I think any team that tries to underestimate Atalanta will be disappointed because they are full of surprises, Atalanta is the current champions of Europa League last season after defeating the team that was seen as the favorite to win the competition and this season Atalanta is among the SeriaA teams playing in the champions league. They may not have started very well in their domestic league but you can not compare their performance in the champions League competition and that of their league because they wouldn't want to disappoint their fans by not performing well in the group stages.

Atalanta may not be seen as the favourite in the champions league competition but it takes a good performance for the chances of the team to win the league to be increased so if Atalanta shows good performance in the league it won't take time for their chances of winning the champions League be increased.

I'm a Liverpool fan and if I'm being honest, that stats about not conceding any goals so far is just good for the records. The real test is going to be how long this Liverpool team can go before they lose it. My guess? Pretty soon.  Liverpool have won Milan a couple of times in the past so I'm sure that fixture will bring a lot of memories. That's a fair take fr. I'm not gonna lie, Madrid has been Liverpool's greatest nemesis in the last decade. Iirc, we didn't get a single win off of Real Madrid during the entire Klopp era. Hopefully this time is different but I have very little expectations — maybe Liverpool gets off with a win at Anfield but lose or draw at Real Madrid's home. Leverkusen could pose a threat, even Leipzig (let's not forget that Leipzig ended Leverkusen's unbeaten run in the Bundesliga).

This is a very interesting match because it is also about the future of Fonseca's coaching career at Milan. How could it not be, so far AC Milan has not shown its best performance in the domestic league, they have not even won a single match. So it is very natural that Liverpool is favored in this match.
