They do not have a guarantee to do well, but they are not expected to win it neither anyway. I mean if Atalanta or/and Leverkusen ends up going out of the group stage, which will be a different system for now, but lets assume that they go out of the group stage, that would be more than enough. I think that has to be the most important part, if they end up with teams that they could beat, and they get the results they should, that would be more than what people expect from them anyway.

This is why I believe that the best way to move forward with this would be just realizing that we are going to end up with a good return for them. There is no need to expect them to win the title, that would be expecting way too much from them anyway.

I don't agree with you that Liverpool is not capable of performing in the champions league next season because among all England teams, Liverpool has the highest champions league record because they have won it 6 times while the second club from England which is Manchester united has won the champions league 3 times, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest won 2 times each, Manchester city has just one champions league title alongside Aston Villa that has also gotten one champions league trophy so this is to show that Liverpool still remains the highest team from England that has won the champions league.

Sure Liverpool will struggle to perform without Jurgen Klopp who have managed the team to a good standard within his coaching career with the club even though he didn't achieve many trophies but let us not forget that Liverpool have great talented players so they can perform better than they did last season even though they were not in the champions league last season but for the fact that they made it next season mean they will devote their time to make things work out well for them.

In champions league, looking down on any team is the biggest mistake you can ever make as a team. Everyone has some kind of potentials in them that has brought them that far to make it to the competition. Just a slight mistake can make you lose against them and that cannot be undone when already happened. The biggest teams base on their most recent performance are Real Madrid and Manchester City.

In the just concluded season, before the match will come to an end, only Manchester City and Real Madrid are the two most favorites team to win the competition and after the elimination of one of them, it was very clear that the other team will win the title and that is exactly what happened in the concluded season.

I am actually scared for Liverpool to have come this far in football and have nothing to show for it in recent times. Klopp had retired voluntarily and that is a big disappointment to Liverpool because I’m sure they were not expecting him to leave them just like that. Yep. Liverpool returns to UCL for the next season, they finished in the 3rd place. Unfortunately, Klopp left Liverpool when they play again in UCL, now they are managed by a new coach (Arne Slot). TBH, I'm not really familiar with Arne Slot, his career looks like in domestic competition. So, this is the first time that Arne Slot manages a top European team like Liverpool. Agree. If we look at his achievement and history of his career, we can't be very optimistic with Arne Slot. Moreover, it is always not easy for the Dutch coach managing EPL teams. Sure, Ten Hag is a clear example, he gets complicated situation during managing Man United. However, we can't underestimate Arne Slot, he should have a chance to improve Liverpool. I don’t know why you think Liverpool will not be able to compete in the upcoming Champions League competition. Is it that you underrate them that much or what? Because you don’t really understand, don’t forget what Liverpool did at the Premier League competition this season. They were trying their possible best to compete with all those big clubs, although they later went down and their performances started declining. Striking back anytime is something I believe Liverpool can comfortably do during the times they had klop as their coach, but in present times, I don't know how well that will be applicable because they may not be able to have that kind of form and mentality they had with klop, Liverpool under klop had a stable form and the strong and firm mentality klop had was such that he could possibly get to make his boys deliver even at points where they may have lost faith in their own ability, I believe they are at this point going to be able to see how well they can build up again capitalizing on the legacy of klop with their new coach.

In that champions league, much shouldn't be really expected of Liverpool this season as they may not be able except if they probably get along with their new coach quick enough such that his patterns and tactics are similar to that of their former coach getting them to be able to adapt to the new strategies without much stress or having to even stress much enough before they are able to really get to play well enough. Diego Simeone has been managing Athletico Madrid for nearly 700 or so games if I am not wrong, which is quite a lot and something we do not see that often anymore, because most teams just change their managers like they are changing a sock so we do not get to see this many teams with the same manager all that often.

A coach staying very long in a team is good  but there ought to be a limit that will based on the achievements of the coach and the progress they gave made as well. To me a good coach should be able to prove himself within a period of five years. Diego Semeone is a good coach no doubt, but the results he has achieved in Atletico Madrid, in my opinion, is less than expectations and the name of Atletico Madrid. I remember he has lost Champions league final about twice which is 2014 and 2016. This to me is not a good one and if I were to be the management of the club, I would have tried another coach.

If a new manager is appointed in a club and he is removed from the team in the next season, then we say that the manager should be given more time because a manager cannot fully apply his skills in one season.

Changing managers in clubs is normal for them, it takes time for a person to manage the team properly. But experienced matches and experienced team managers are definitely experienced people. Because you would not have been given the job as a manager of a club without experience, you look at other clubs changing managers.

But if a manager takes charge of the same team for five consecutive seasons and cannot bring significant changes in the performance of that team, then the club should exclude that manager and plan anew.
