Although, there are so many factors facilitating the increase in the rate of crime in our society but if we critically deepdown on the root of incessant increase of crime and other criminal activities in our society today it will be so notable that poverty and unemployment especially among the youth are the major anchor to the increase in crime and criminal activities in the society. I think if there is adequate sentization of Bitcoin in our society it will help in the reduction of crime because many people that are involve in some fraudulent activities today would venture into Bitcoin and be making a reasoning resource from Bitcoin if really inconcated with the actually knowledge and information to be successful in the system.

Why only looking at the disadvantage part of the works of bitcoin when it has brought other advantages to the unemployed with or without the knowledge of bitcoin, most people that gained financial stability in Nigeria even with the hash economic situations where opportune to be privilege enough to invest with the little they have and now freedom is there's.
Some of the challenges affecting Nigeria is our nagetive perspective of drawing conclusions on issues without proper scrutiny to see if its as bad as it was painted. If drastic decision in taken on the issue of bitcoin as you have painted it, do you think the opportunity to be here for the both of us would have been available.

NO I don't really think bitcoin can help us to reduce crime though bitcoin is very fast in transaction but for my own perspective I don't think it can help to reduce crime.

We have different views according to what we believe. As a matter of concern, I believe bitcoin has lifted many people from the ground. Someone of these people have been involved in one crime or the other, but now, it seems they have a new story to tell, having engaged in bitcoin. If you ask me, I think bitcoin can actually reduce crime if properly handled.

Bitcoin have solved a lot of community problems and this has reduced the rate of violence among the citizens to have reduced because the young ones have seen opportunities in bitcoin adoption whereby they can make use of the time they have to learn and earn as well in bitcoin, invest and still make more earnings from their investments, these are rare opportunities their political leaders cant afford to give and bitcoin is freely offering to everyone.

Yes of course bitcoin is actually playing a role in crime reduction. Because In the past years before bitcoin came in to play there was serious cases of armed rubberise due to poverty and unemployment especially among the youth. And that is a major problem in a society Wch gives birth to so many crime. But now bitcoin has come up with so many ways our youth can actually study, invest and make good living just from bitcoin, that alone has reduced the crime rate and im sure everyone is seeing the advantage.

Apart from the fact that bitcoin is a digital currency that has a decentralized operational system that denies tranditional banking system access to the transaction history and fast  in transactions, it also serve as a source of job opportunities to citizens with its knowledge.  Many people that has knowledge of bitcoin gained financial freedom today either by bitcoin trading or long term investment which simple means bitcoin can also serve as a source of income and by so doing it will help in reducing crime.  Most people getting involved in crime related activities are once without any source of income

Watin concern Bitcoin and crime self. I no just know why people just like to relate Bitcoin and crime together which no really make any sense to me. Okay I look at it in different areas and I see reason why bitcoin would reduce but not eliminat crime. Lot of people who a literate of bitcoin and has the ability or potential for bitcoin but has no body to teach them. When given a chance to learn it would do very. Bitcoin is my here to reduce crime but the main purpose of creating bitcoin was the alternative currency to the Fiat money in a digital way . Where you can use bitcoin to buy and sell things online. Bitcoin can actually help in fighting crime however it will be very difficult to help because it is a digital currency and some transaction that is made are not traceable and because it is not traceable people can use it to commit crime and this is one of the reason why some countries don't even allow Bitcoin in their country because they feel that they can be used to commit crime and it is not traceable however since exchange is there transaction with Bitcoin through exchange and when you make transaction through an exchange you can easily be caught if it is a criminal transaction but with wallet you can't be caught or traced so it's all depends.

I find this idea to be greatly false. You no fit send any fake coins way go Dey registered on the blockchain or even drop for any body wallet. That na to propose the idea of double spending, counterfeiting of Bitcoin way Dey highly impossible.

Bitcoin have actually helped a lot of people because from what we have analyzed those people that bought bitcoin earlier are now millionaires for does that have been holding for a long time and how much did they start with and that is why the risk they took years ago hve paid off, and they are going to be the happiest folks because they are able to have been able to stay this long and not sell it is not as easy as we think and even does that are holding are very careful because of security reasons and other factors.

And truth of the matter is that is the youth can be encouraged to start trading in bitcoin because the world is changing and it might not stop crime fully but it will actually help, and they are not even encouraging the youths,  the government should focus on how they can build the youths in this aspect, and trading is something that a lot of people would have been interested they just need to be equipped.

It is foolish to think that crime decrease because of Bitcoin. If we think realistically, we will see that payment methods like Bitcoin are used to do all the prohibited activities so that the government or law enforcement agencies cannot track it in any way. That is why we can say that some people are using Bitcoin to do illegal activities. Their terrorist activities are continuing. You can truely say this, Bitcoin can't reduce crime, when you are less observant of what is happening in your environment and the world at large.

Bitcoin as far as I am concerned has done well in recent times in reducing the crime rate in the society. Like you, I don't think Bitcoin helps in curbing crime because we may see that kidnapping, terrorism, robbery and drug dealers prefer to receive Bitcoin from their clients instead of Fiat, which proves that these unscrupulous people are abusing Bitcoin. While Bitcoin is a fact that some people are abusing it, we see that many people are able to increase their self-employment and investing in electronic currency can increase the quality of life in the future. Honestly, I think everyone has to admit that crime was in the world before Bitcoin came, the so-called leaders have not been able to eliminate it yet, so it is certain that Bitcoin will not be able to eliminate this crime either. However, since Bitcoin is an electronic currency, its purpose was to act as an alternative to Fiat currency in a digital way and and to act as a hedge against inflation in every underdevelopment country like ours Nigeria.
