Hi,
I saw someone talking about dirty BTC/USDT, is this real or a scam? Where can buy or exchange it?

OP, why would you want to buy "dirty"/tainted BTC or USDT? Maybe you could install Tor browser and a VPN and do a little search over the dark web. Most of the illegal online stuff is being offered there, but beware of scams.
What makes you think that dirty BTC/USDT would be a scam? Did you notice anyone selling dirty BTC/USDT around the web and scamming people? Why would anyone selling tainted BTC mention specifically, that he is selling tainted BTC/USDT? This would scare many buyers away.
So many questions and no answers. Grin OP, do you plan buying tainted BTC and cleaning them up? I wonder how that would work.

It is the government and some anti-Bitcoin forces that always come up with the concept of dirty Bitcoin. They insinuate that dirty Bitcoin has been associated with illegal activities such as money laundering, drugs, hacked wallets, scams, etc. But the bottom line is that there is nothing like dirty Bitcoin. Just like fiat, Bitcoin can be used by criminals and this action doesn't make the money dirty. I recently read that 80% of fiat currency has been used for illegal activities. It will be difficult to identify these so-called dirty coins except the address was flagged and blacklisted by government agencies. Why do you want to be involved in such a transaction? The dark web might be a good place to ask this question.
It's precisely governments and anti Bitcoin forces that can label Bitcoin that is seized from money launderers, hackers and other criminal activities as dirty Bitcoin, instead of calling it seized Bitcoin. The fact however remains that Bitcoin is not a dirty cryptocurrency or digital cash, it is decentralized and is hodled and spent by legit individuals and institutions including criminal individuals and organizations. I wonder if seized fiat currencies are called dirty, I seriously doubt it, but it's very convenient for people who wants to give Bitcoin a bad name to call it dirty and tainted and they will still go ahead to sale what they termed as dirty and tainted.

I'm also curious at why the OP will ask where to buy dirty Bitcoin, like you I believe that the best place to make such enquiry is in the dark web. A reputable forum like bitcointalk is not the right place to get information about illegal activities.

If it really exists and the price is lower than normal, P2P wallet transfer is supported, and can exchange it for cash in my country

Op answered but I still don't understand

they want to buy dirty bitcoin which they think are sold at a cheaper price just to exchange back to their fiat money? it doesn't make sense if we follow op's logic.

if by op's logic, dirty bitcoin is sold cheaper than those not previously linked to illicit acts then you are also not going to make any profit because you are also going to have to sell at a cheaper price, so I do not understand the thought process behind this question

I'll illustrate it.

1 Bitcoin is worth of $65K in the present, but someone willing to sell 1 Bitcoin for $40K, I only need to pay $40K for 1 BTC, then I will sell my 1 BTC to someone else for $65K, $64K etc whatever I like, I can earn $25K excluding transaction fees.

@OP can choose to not say the coins he got is tainted coins.

If you don't engage in any form of use of dirty bitcoin, then don't make search about knowing much on it, don't use it and don't give other or engage with those involved in it, dirty bitcoin is often referred to those that have illegal possession of bitcoin through fraudulent acts, they are mostly being tracked by the government anti money laundry agents AML, if you are traced and found to have anything related to such, it's a financial crime act and you're going to face the law, most people using the centralized exchanges are more in risk for this kind of acts.

No matter how funny it may seem, I initially learned that supposedly “dirty” Bitcoin was being sold on one of the carder forums before I learned about the real and, in my opinion, the noble purpose of Bitcoin. At the same time, the forum on which I saw such a sale was also accidental for me. At that time, I could not understand that money could be called “dirt.” And I’m probably not alone; if this happened to me, then someone else would also receive incorrect information if they did not subsequently try to find out the details for themselves. Be that as it may, many here claim that there are no dirty Bitcoins, and I may agree, but what can be said about the exchangers that now perform AML checks? In particular, my former signature company, BestChange, recently made it possible to check wallets.

Hi,

Many people don't understand what's going on here.

I am guessing that OP might have acesss to BTC that isn't really his, the word dirty is saying that the BTC is either stolen or the fund used to bought the BTC is dirty money.

Are you into dirty money if I may ask? It seems you are into drugs or you are a hacker, return the BTC to the rightful owner because every bad path always have an ugly end, you can't keep hurting people and go scot free, it takes a long time for criminal lords to stay in their dirty lifetstyle and enjoy it while it lasts but the truth is it doesn't always end well.

Abstain from crimes and dirty money, even if its BTC, it can always be tracked back to you.
