After a long wait, zkSync has finally distributed its ZK Airdrop today, and trading has also begun on exchanges. Did you receive the airdrop? What are your long-term expectations?

Received $3,500 worth of ZK tokens — and immediately dumped it once I was able to because I'm generally bearish on Ethereum Layer-2 coins because they're overpriced as hell both in market cap and fully diluted valuation(FDV).

Also: SyncSwap also received some airdropped $ZK, and apparently they're airdropping 100% of their received $ZK onto SyncSwap users.

I did receive my airdrop which was around 22k tokens. I dumped it on bybit at the early trade then i feeling happy with my USDT on my bybit account. I might be receiving more stupid bankless HQ was not being chosen to handle sybil hunting by zk developers.

I'd rather than trust nansen to handle this job.

What are your long-term expectations?

I have no long term expectation over zk.

It shows that how weekly's revenue from zksync blockchain has dropped drastically. It proves that if people were leaving from there. Zk is now potentially to be another stucknet. Dump your token before it goes down even lower.

Nope, it hurts since I spent money for fees but yeah it's part of being on an airdrop today, there's no actual criteria until the project releases them. There are a lot of people in the community that didn't get the airdrop that resulted into a lot of FOMO. Though there are still chance to get airdrop of ZK token from binance, there are certain criteria needed to met to be eligible from the binance x zksync airdrop.

Those who buy Zksync are satisfied, and those who don't are dissatisfied and belittle the project. Zero Knowlodge is an important category, so airdrop buyers should sell it and I'm waiting for the fud to last a little longer, maybe if it comes to the price I want, I can buy it. Purchasing without airdrop might make me a little sad, but there are still breadcrumbs there for the future.

If I were as qualified as you, I would have dumped the ZK coins I got immediately. Despite launching this unfair airdrop in the hope of boosting the activity of the ZkSync network, it had a negative impact, great pressure on the network, and RPC issues, which only show their infinite incompetence. In addition, they lacked transparency towards the community, ignored Sybil Farms filtering, and failed to adhere to the terms and conditions of the airdrop they distributed.

In addition, the huge decline in weekly revenues for the zkSync blockchain has also led to a 99% decrease in the number of zkSync Lite and Era users and the daily transaction counter. You can access more statistics through Dune data. This network has become dead now, as users have abandoned it, withdrawn their ETH, and left. The team that deceived them and drained their fees over the years finally paid the price.

Not eligible for criteria, I think LP plays a big role here as a multiplier, the team said that they'd reward more people that truly contributes but it also uproot their entire community that they've built since apparently it made up of airdrop hunters that rarely could provide thousand dollars for years and literally 90% of them aren't eligible (sybils aside).

my only mistake was that I supplied too few LPs and let the other coin just sitting in my address which honestly if i were to LP all of them i could've gotten plenty airdrops.

but aside of that honestly though, do you guys notice that the current value of $ZK as a coin just really disappointing? $4.5B of FDV at 21 billion token total supply, its even worst that $STRK which are being fudded by a lot of people now the price keeps tanking a lot.

How is it really surprising though? Regardless if it was properly funded or not — $1B market cap with $4.5B FDV is still expensive as hell, knowing how very little genuine usage ZKSync has and knowing how many Ethereum Layer-2s we have now and the fact that we will have more in the future(Scroll, Linea, etc); further diluting the L2 space.

I have high hopes for the tech, but i am uncertain of the level of adoption. Polygon's scaling already conquered the reddit NFTs and i can't see them using alternatives, because just using one is a difficult enough learning curve for people joining in. So i am not sure if they can compare with them. Although personally i root for zk-rollups rather than Polygon's combination of different scaling technologies.

May the better one win. I'll probably be buying, especially if it's dropping radically, as i don't see any reason this woudn't go to at least same marketcap with arbitrum. I can't see it beating polygon though.

According to this analytics on Dune https://dune.com/obchakevich/zk-zksync it seems user data like new users, holders are improving. This shows it's just a matter of time before a breakout. Also discovered this poolX for ZK with 44% Apr ZK farming. Might consider since the entry point is ZK. Asides the airdrop anomaly, I think this might do well in the long run from onchain analysis

Same here and I felt bad even though I haven't heard of it before or know that it was coming because I'm not really into airdrops anymore as I'm already busy on my full-time job as a writer. I can see that this is one of the most anticipated projects or airdrops and users who are qualified are getting a juicy reward, no wonder why they are not easy to complete or their requirements are a bit high from our standards. Maybe the more you regret because you haven't got anything from your past transactions?

This is one of the risk here, especially if we are not paying attention to the objectives. I think those who bought the coins are once worried but it was only replaced by satisfaction when things got better later on.

Our expectations will only be caught short when we've failed completely from reaching targets in the market. Airdrops are consider important and we should do our best to keep track on these projects. ZK airdrop distribution and I missed out on both the tasks and the project. However I'm not a fan of airdrop though I'll try my best to ensure I'm keeping track on these projects.

But I wonder how much effort you have exerted on it and of course it comes with a capital for the trades and tasks that you're assigned to do.

      I was also not qualified for Zk's airdrops. I have been using their platform for several months, maybe twice or three times a week, focusing more on swapping and staking; this is where my activity revolves. Also, it's not a big fund; rather, it's just a small fund that I entered on the ZK platform as well.

     So I congratulate those who entered the airdrops. It's just that now ZK's price has dropped quite a bit in the market, and I'm not sure if it still has potential in the future. Maybe try to buy it anyway, and maybe I'll be able to get in too in the future in the bull run.
