How many prizes do you award? Is there a reward distribution anywhere?
Would be good to know so I can decide how much risk I want to take with my next round of picks.

Is always a endless discussion about that, when you have Extra Time you see some teams dont play it in the way we expect, and nobody seeks the win, so you start thinking about cut it out, but when you dont have it you start to think...." oh come on why no extra time, this only rewards to the defensive teams" so this is gonna be perpetuated in a endless circle i think.

About the snakes..... i dont know they caught us with a low guard.

I'm old-fashioned like him, football isn't just about the winning goals and the highlights. It's the entire game, the entire match. But one single game a week will always look better than 2 or 3 games a week.

Copa already has players barely a week from their regular leagues. We're just going to get more saturated action that nobody watches, so they can tune in to the highlights.

We have in total 7mbtc from fees + 1mbtc gifted by buwaytress, that give us 8 mbtc of prize im gonna add 1mbtc to the pot so we can reach 9 mbtc.

I was thinking on this split:

1º = 5mbtc
2º = 3mbtc
3º = 1mbtc

Hi man, after a few votes here in the thread, the rewarded positions are this. Not big money at all but good money and some recognition at least.   

I think it was without the last adition of Slaman so we have a extra 0.5mbtc and i put it to the third spot.

I agree with you and im also a not fan of today football, so much rules added and in the games itself less boldness from the players to make plays, all his super coordinated and every ball is played like the books, and that is making the game more boring i think.

Damn, just realized I am in the money in COPA pool. Never expected that I will do good here. Now that I have realized it, I will probably promptly drop down the ladder.

^ My wise experience with the pools of BTT is this : if you have only theoretical chances to win, then you have a practical chance to lose.

Uruguay for the win, and then to dispatch Argentina in the final. This is the only way I walk away this season with profit.

OT but... Netherlands too but I have a good friend with far more money on England haha.

I agree with you, but i want to add some minor things.

The main problem of Colombia can be the lack of seriousness when they play.
Uruguay know better how to play this kind of games and how to make the game dirt and hard to play, with a ton of faults.

About Argentina, yes clearly we are the main contender but we need to wake up ASAP, because we are ina  very low level right now. Some players are not in good shape.

I also agree that Uruguay are better in decisive matches, and if they score a goal, it's quite difficult to play for a draw

Regarding the pool - I joked that I was invincible after having a decent lead after the group stage and then managed to get almost everything wrong.

When I first read the headline, I was actually shaking my head at him inside. But when I understood the whole thing later, then hell, yeah he was doing what any father would do. Quite a shame on Concacaf and US to actually allow this. They knew the crowd, they knew Colombia had a big base of supporters, how do you even allow something like that to happen?

My Uruguay is out, and so ends my hopes and dreams of recovering this season.

Finally, I got two of my picks right, 6 points in the last two semi-final games
I got Argentina 2x0 Canada and Colombia 1x0 Uruguay

I'm 2.5 points off 3rd place, and my ultimate goal was to finish in the top 3
My prediction is that if I get one game right (3 points) and one result right (1.5 points) I can finish in 3rd place with 36 points

Regarding yesterday's game, although I admire the great willpower and determination that the Uruguayans have when playing for the national team, I think it's extremely unnecessary to provoke other players as happened in yesterday's game, it often works, but yesterday Colombia played very well and got a VERY good result with 1 player down for 1 whole half

It was tough decision, but was thinking between backing Uruguay or going with draw. But decided to go with Uruguay as they were my dark horses of tournament.

I was shocked when I saw videos. There is no reason to blame Nunez here as he was just defending his family, very poor level of security which let such thing to happen.

I wanted to go with Colombia after I saw what they did in previous matches but I switched it later to 1:1 draw.
I think there is no extra time in Copa America and I didnt know about that, they go directly to penalties.
Third place match is another thing I dont understand, but for someone this is good chance to earn 3 more points.

Heh, life is rigged, friend. You can get predictable league results and cup competitions like last season in England in UCL, and still lose money overall. Then you can get Brazil out of COPA early and Spain through to the EURO finals and still be left without winning tickets.

Colombian people are super happy and i feel good for them because they are our "son" not in term of we are bigger than them but because we teach most of their football to them a few decades ago, and that still happen.
