We have been trying to build a BTC mining pool and finally we got the chance to build   https://frogpool.ae/
It’s a merged pool with one of the big famous pool so we can easily solve a block ,i am using fpps with 1.25% fees
It’s the first pool supporting arabic language and arabic customer support .
We also offer onsite support for miners in gulf area for free , and online support to miners that have problems with
Setting up farms or cooling systems hydro or immersion cooling all this for free .

We would like to know your honest opinion  and your recommendations .

Thank you so much

Just curious, how can you propose onsite support for free while taking only a 1.25% mining fee?
Seems to be unrealistic, or what do I miss?

Merged with ? if i may ask.
Why Frogpool? Was *Monkey not available? Also, why use .AE if you are hosted in Russia? This is weird or there's a catch.
Someone should test those firmwares; they might surprise you.

first thank you so much for your reply i really appreciate it

what you miss is that we do free support to farms in Gulf area which are mostly UAE ( where we are based ) Oman and Bahrain.

we have a shop that sells miners and spare parts and hydro and immersion cooling systems in Gulf  https://miner-gears.com/ and we are delivering miners and install it may be every other day so it's going to cost us nothing to do the support on the way  plus petrol is so cheap here  Cheesy

if you are based in Gulf area just contact us for support and we will be more than happy to help

thank you

Grin Uhm, I don't know, I am really scared of frogs. There's not much to say... You should provide your users with more details, such as the software running your pool, and introduce your team if you have one. Transparency with miners is crucial. The image from Trustpilot doesn't have a link. I joined your Telegram groups and noticed that while thousands of users were invited, only 20-30 remain active. It's a bit concerning, you know. Put more passion into it.

Vnish being probably the most vocal about their violation of my cgminer license and not giving a crap about it also.

It’s a merged pool with one of the big famous pool so we can easily solve a block ,i am using fpps with 1.25% fees

You are going to need a ton of BTC in reserve to avoid bankruptcy with that kind of pool fee, according to Meni Rosenfeld's equation which is

R =B ln 1δ / 2f

You are going to need 719 BTC to maintain a 0.1% chance of going bankrupt, even if you were to compare to a 10% chance of going broke, you would still need 239.85 BTC in reserves, I don't think whatever you are trying to do is sustainable in the long run (assuming you are legit anyway), you will have to change the fees very soon to maintain the pool, it's nearly impossible to operate a PPS pool with anything below 2.5%, in fact, the average fee now days is 4% which also seems to be minimum.

meni's formula is more accurate with larger % of the network for a pool.

Ie a pool with 1eh needs to pay coins  per day then a pool with 35eh

we are are 552eh

an eh is 1/552 x 144 = .26086 blocks a day

or around  0.87391 btc a day

and 318.978 btc a year.

while a pool with 35 eh needs to pay around  11164.239 btc a year
or  30.5869 btc a day

meni mentions greater risk for the op's style of payout if the pool has a larger percentage of the total hash rate.

the small pool of 1eh  can only lose 318.978 btc coins in a year with a perfect losing record of never hitting a block in an entire year.

the larger pool would lose far more. with a perfect losing record.

So men's formula is but one guide to reserves needed.

one thing that i don't really understand is that during the last 2 months about 80 new members signed up on the pool , only 3 of them connected their devices , is this supposed to be right ?

all the 80 accounts have been through the registration process and the E-mail verification and setting up a 12 character password ,then after all of this hustle only 3 of them connected their miners  Undecided

Hey chicosallam,

Frogpool.ae looks impressive, especially with its support for Arabic language and FPPS with 1.25% fees. Partnering with a major pool ensures stability, and providing onsite support in the Gulf is a great addition.

For broader appeal, I'd suggest highlighting pool uptime, average block discovery time, and testimonials from existing miners. Ensuring robust and reliable cooling and farm setups is crucial for long-term success.
