I couldn't find Information about how does the jackpot works, the amount is cool, we are talking about $200k, but it would be nice to know the way to hit it. And it would be nice to know how does it grow.

I’m afraid you’re looking at the UI/UX design of the poker room, not the actual app. The numbers there are just placeholders. The Jackpot in question is a Bad Beat Jackpot, where a player with Quads looses to a straight flush. There are several conditions to meet to get the Jackpot paid out, like having a minimum of 6 players on the table and where both players are holding 2 cards in their hand to complete the Quads and Straight Flush.

The bad beat Jackpot will be available on some of the higher blinds on Hold’em tables only.

More details will be disclosed on all promos towards the launch here on Bitcointalk and also on our official channel on telegram.

I’m afraid you’re looking at the UI/UX design of the poker room, not the actual app. The numbers there are just placeholders. This is fine, during the launch, I believe that the telegram app will be good and reliable.
I agree with what you said about having a website and players can feel comfortable about the legitimacy of the platform especially since this is a telegram app, some people won't mind also the website again.

I'm guessing you haven't played anywhere near as many millions of hands as I have. I have seen it several times. Poker against straight flush, having poker on the flop and losing against top poker, straight flush against Royal straight flush... you name it, I've seen it.

The funny thing about this is that if you are at tables with players who think and have experience, they don't usually jam their whole stack just because they have a poker without thinking that according to the cards on the table the opponent may have a straight flush.

I have been playing poker since 2002 roughly. Ive seen Straight Flush vs Quads several times, but really not too often at all. I am not sure on the precise stats but I’m assuming (and again this is an assumption), to get:
Quads vs Straight Flush with both players holding both whole cards (one card is not counted) on a minimum 6 hand table (5 players will not win the jackpot), i believe the stats are close to 1 in 500M. To see Quads vs Straight flush where one or both players are holding only one card in their hand to complete th quads  or straight flush would happen 100x more often, and therefore players like yourself, with many hours on the table, over the course of many years will probably see this outcome more often.

If you have more refined stats, I’d be grateful if you would share them.

What I was getting at is that, roughly, if we take into account all the people who can play on pokerstars it seems to me that this bad beat will occur more frequently than the 2 or 3 times a year that you said in the previous message. But to know accurate data we should have data on total hands played by everyone there in a calendar year.

But even in Pokerstars or GG, not all tables and stakes have the badbeat feauture. The jackpot is inclusive only on Holdem, only cash games and only from stakes of $1-$2 and above (or something like that)…

So the number of hands played in total in the brand is less relevant, as only the hands within the tables with the feature enabled should be counted.

Its interesting. I just read an article that one player on GG won the badbeat 3 times!
So perhaps i was over-estimating it ☺️

Never really played Poker before but will be interested in trying it out when this gets launched. I wonder how more difficult it is for a player with very little experience to enjoy poker.

Not all websites are legit but also Telegram is having a bad name in regards to crypto and a lot are saying that there are lots of scammers here. ' A lot ' only, so that means there are still some that are legit and if they can prove their selves to be among that few, then why not? As for UI UX, we habe developed the app from the ground up. The design is completely unique. Because its a telegram app, most users will probably use their phones to play so we really concentrated on nailing a good user interface, to make your gaming more enjoyable. But like with anything, improvements will come with time, and we will learn how to continuously improve on that.

Scams regarding Telegram: Yes, i suppose anywhere crypto is prevalent you will see scams. And Telegram is no exception. One of the more unique elements we are providing on Ultimate Poker is instant withdrawals. Were not just saying it to attract new users, rather a real feature we believe in.
