I personally believe it will surpass that figure this year or by early 2025. If it doesn't get there this cycle, whether it's the end of 2025 or whenever, it's going to be a catastrophe for price expectations. But I see that as too unlikely.

Before the next long term bear market will come, bitcoin will likely surpasses $100000. There are some moments during long term bull run that the market can be sluggish and discouraging but a time will come that the bears will become the bulls again and the price of bitcoin will increase. Even if bitcoin fall below $40000 right now, that does not mean it is still not going to $100000 before 2026 when another long term bear market would begin.

Honestly, Bitcoin always repeats its history and the cycle is indeed based on the same pattern, on the other hand, bitcoin adoption is still very low from the total outside value that goes into bitcoin, we haven't even entered government adoption, because usually retail, institutions, governments, maybe one day bitcoin will become a reserve currency for most countries in the world as their country's foreign exchange, it is not impossible, as bitcoin is considered a diamond in the internet world.

There's been lots of other notable predictions and speculations about Bitcoin in 2025.

First was Tom Lee, an American Entrepreneur who speculated the price of Bitcoin to reach $40,000 by 2025.
And as we can see, bitcoin is way above 40k, and it's not even 2025.

Second was Kay Van-Petersen, he's the Co-Founder & Global Chief Consigliere @ D•Central and also Managing Partner at @Ascent Capital with over 15 years of experience in the global financial market, he also speculated bitcoin to hit a $100,000 by 2025.

And the third is John McAfee a British-American computer programmer and businessman who also speculated bitcoin to hit $1M by 2025.

That shows that no one can accurately predict the future of Bitcoin, because no one knows what will happen in the future, we can only be sure that Bitcoin price will grow higher than it's current ATH and set new ATHs in the long run, but accurately predicting the future price isn't possible because there are factors that affect and drive bitcoin price, and these factors are often real life events that can never be predicted.

I'm pretty sure there were also notable speculations back then in 2020 that were supposed to have been accurate before COVID 19 hit the world's economy and affected even Bitcoin's price.

Me too, we still have a lot of time left. There will be more actions will come in 5 months. We saw before how Bitcoin does the action in just a short period of time, whereas most actions of Bitcoin are just always surprised and a parabolic run is always possible, we already seen it multiple times before.

The figure of $100K is often mentioned a lot for predictions in 2025, we personally certainly believe bitcoin will touch because it is in a cycle like in 2021 even some other famous experts mention more than $100K, for me this figure is still reasonable.

Now the market is correcting again due to the news that Mtgox said it would distribute bitcoin to customers who lost it at the beginning of July, but I don't know the truth if it is true then the people who received the bitcoin will sell even though the price has dropped they have doubled.

Am still maintaining my position about being optimism that bitcoin price will surge to  a 100k plus, if not by the end of 2024 then definitely in 2025. The unprecedented phenomenon of bitcoin price reaching a new ATH before it's halving tels so much that we should be expecting something of a huge profit in this very circle more than what was gotten from 2021 circle.

Turning to predictions from different financially experts and institutions in recent weeks after the halving, their views about the future of bitcoin's next ATH at least before we start experiencing the bears has been that of a unitary 100k reach, nevertheless, the price could go surpass that figure in 2025.

The year 2025 should be the peak of the Bitcoin 4-year cycle, so this means a lot of rally will happen during this year.  If the 4-year cycle repeats itself, it is highly possible that the Bitcoin price will surpass $100,000 in the year 2025.  I even have a guess that it can even reach more than $150k in reference to the previous 4-year cycle ATH increase. 

The speculation that Bitcoin will break 100k in this cycle is also supported by many people especially those who have experienced and witnessed multiple 4-year cycle performance of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin market movement is crazy, often times Bitcoin market moves in an upward direction even with negative news of censorship while sometimes Bitcoin price goes down even with lots of good news.  But one thing has not failed Bitcoin yet and that is its 4-year cycle.  I hope Bitcoin won't disappoint us again this time.

Bitcoin market price will reach a new all time high of $100,000 and above, this may happen sooner between now and the end of the year or it may as well also extends to next year, there is high probability that we are seeing this happening before we get to the end of year 2025, because we are already on the encounter of bitcoin post halving market volatility whereby you will discover it rise and fall within a very short time interval and only those that were able to wait holding will see the advantage on this.

I know that many people will call me crazy or insane when I say this, but I think it could also pass that 100k mark during 2024, and not after 2025, or not even close to ending of it. I am 100% sure that it will go over 100k during sometime at 2025, of course it will probably go under it after a while too, so we are going to see going above 100k and then going under 100k during 2025, that will happen.

But, I also think that we are going to probably see it go up during 2024 as well. Just because it isn't looking great at this moment, doesn't mean that we are going to end up with anything bad until the end of the season neither, we are going to probably start going up again eventually, we just need a bit more time for it.

We will never though, no one can predict the future. But if you have the past to look at, perhaps there is big possibility that we might reaches it. After halving, demand usually shots up because Bitcoin is going to be limited. It's just by today, there's not that much news for investors to FOMO again but I'm seeing that by 2025, there will be a huge increased in price. Just to set the record though, the new all time high is already $73k and it did happen pre-halving.

And I believed that majority will also be leaning on the 6 digit bench mark next year. The question is are you ready for $100k? Have you accumulated enough Bitcoin for this year? We are at $60k right now, so still very cheap if you think that Bitcoin can make it to $100k or more, then take this opportunity to collect and then just HODL and wait for 2025.

At this point, I don't know. If not for the belief that I had gathered on Bitcointalk, I would have outrightly said No. But giving Bitcoin the benefit of the doubt is why I'm still neutral on this matter. If it were to be at the beginning of 2023, I would have answered yes, this is because I've let what I read here slightly cloud what I know in investment, most importantly my judgment, but I think I have to switch to the reality of the day in which all assets must also agree with as Bitcoin can't be acting in isolation in terms of the market behaviour. Bitcoin can't be moving so incredibly higher and higher all the time, where will it even fetch the liquidity from always? The liquidity issue is why we are experiencing the current bearish outlook that is now strongly threatening the overall bullish trend of this bullish season.

My worst fear now is Bitcoin breaching the weekly chart's MagicTrend support at $62,777 this week, a level it has never breached since October last year (not the price but the line). Breaching it this week and having a weekly close below it can't be a light issue. Nonetheless, Bitcoin may still overcome all these challenges, and if it did, do you think there will still be huge fresh capital inflow even when it is high in price? Those who would have been encouraged to invest in it would have invested before now, they can't wait till it is as expensive as this.

Above all, I will continue to let my chart guide me and stop being a blind follower.

It's been a long time since we have our biggest ATH, so yeah that we might need a new one now and that should be $100k at least.

Yeah, give the market some time to mature, and I'm not sure why people are in the rush to see $100,000. Yes, we are already post halving, but it doesn't mean that we will see a abrupt parabolic rise. That is not the case, it usually take months before we can finally see some movement. Actually we did, we went as high as $71,000 but it was just a fake break out and we have that price like in just 3 days.

This price is special because I see lots of people are hoping for it even on the past. It's hard to resist the temptations along the way so we might sell most of our coins but we can ensure that we still left something for the main event. Look for the bigger picture, that should be in our mind all the time. For sure if we might see $80,000 in the future, we might think of selling and taking the profits. However, that is still a far cry from want we expect, which is a 6 digit price in 2025. So we need more patience within ourselves, and just continue what we have been doing for months or years, that is to continue to accumulate as much as we can and so when the time come that the price really hits $100,000 or more, we will be ready and all our hard work are going to be paid handsomely.

I am on the side of believers who think that Bitcoin will break six figures this cycle. If it doesn’t, that would certainly be cause for some concern. At the very least I’d like to see it put in a definitive new all time high of at least $80K. The current ATH just looks like a retest of the previous cycle’s high to me right now.

Inasmuch bitcoin reaches $68k in its last bull run, it can soar to a new ATH of $100k or above. We can't forget that every bull run sees a new ATH higher than its previous ones. On that, $100k is higher than $68k, which makes it to be quite easy for us to think a price of $100k is possible this year or next year because of where the market is heading to(bull run). However, for someone to anticipate bitcoin to skyrocket at a high price of $100k and above is understandable to accept.

Am also on the side of those who believed that bitcoin is not going dip this circle than we already have this week, instead, we are going to experience its new all time high before the end of the year and this alone will lead to having the market price up to $100,000 and more, there are enough reasons to use in justifying for these, we have to carefully look into the way we speculate and also take note of the pattern on how the market moves.
