Great news indeed. Still, I want to see the Dread Pirate Roberts out of that damn prison. The inauguration is near and after that there should be movement for this case. Ross did his time and he is definitely deserving to be let go.

Chances are Ross Ulbricht will soon be a free man once again.

I believe Trump will 100% stay true to his word and free Ross from prison. I have not seen anything to suggest that Trump would do otherwise and have only seen things that make me confident he will follow through on this promise. It should be relatively easy for Trump to do, and given his continuous backing of the Bitcoin industry, I am confident Ross is going to be walking as a free man again soon.

This is superb news!

However, I am still in disbelief, I will believe it when I'll see it done.
After all, Trump was president before and back then he didn't care at all about the injustice done to Ross (well, Trump also called back then Bitcoin a scam, heh).

Even more, after the news about buying those wBTC or pardoning a lot of people that day, but not Ross, I thought even more that his promises will go with the wind.
So it was a surprise for me.

Of course, I'm happy he did, even if it was one day late.

So the dormant 13 years old Bitcoin address that suddenly went active it's his ? because at this point , I'm sure he has something to do with him but overall , it's a good sign for him to be released right ?

Also , I'm curious if that certain BTC address will make transfers in the upcoming weeks or days because if it went active , I'm sure transfers will follow soon.

Wow, very touching. It's true that there's a lot to endure during the early days when many don't know and doesn't like Bitcoin. One of them is Ross. Many might be against to what he built but the principle is there of being an open market and even in today's world, even something is built for the good. There will be people that will take advantage of it, I'm happy for Ross especially for his mom.

Also , I'm curious if that certain BTC address will make transfers in the upcoming weeks or days because if it went active , I'm sure transfers will follow soon. 

Whether he sell or not, he deserves anything that's in there that's kept for a while.

Was going to comment on this dormant wallet address that @boltz mentioned on here but glad I hesitated too since it was debunked to be in control of the former admin of the Silk Road but there are wallets that collected dust from those transactions that are still incontrol of Ross that have accumulated 420BTC and inwhich the FBI did not confiscate.
More about that when I find out some definite proof that is how much all those wallets still hold from all those transactions and if Trump's administration can even touch those since the case has been closed and the book has also been closed on Ross serving anymore time and paying anymore fines towards that shutdown business on the darkweb.

@rdbase, thank you for that link. A very interesting and touching story that truly identifies what Ross did and his back story. I didn't tried Silk Road and this video opened my mind that it's not just about selling illegal things but it's also a forum, a community.

Now the question. Where is Ross now?
I really want to see a long interview when he is back on his feet. Answering those questions in the video that you shared @rdbase. It's all done, they cannot put him back to prison anymore. Might as well straighten things up but keep the sensitive parts for him. I am really curious with his answers.

The Free Ross campaign raised this much since he was in jail? At that time GoFundMe was the main site to quickly coordinate such a feat in donations.

And to quell any talk about Trump not staying to his word. I hear that he just signed a Bitcoin bill of strategically stockpiling for the United States. So the first executive order towards bitcoin put into office.
