I have heard and seen bets like this made by group of young people in the area where I live, they have confidence in one particular match, such as the final match in certain competition.
But for some people, they will never do it, like me personally, I will never be interested in placing bets as group, if win maybe can get more money with smaller amount of money collected, but it can cause debate.
Sharing fairly can be the main choice to get fairness, but there are also those who give more money to collect and basically they will always ask for larger amount in dividing the winnings.

Best step is to use what we have without interference from other people because that way, whatever the result, we will feel it ourselves and it won't cause other bad things in the future.
If only have small amount of money, can personally risk all the money with that small amount, but if luck comes, it can also provide an opportunity to multiply it.

I'm also not interested in group betting because it's just not interesting to me. I prefer to place a bet alone, so that no one bothers me and the winnings belong only to me if this happens. I'm interested in coming up with different strategies so that no one bothers me, this is a fascinating process for me. It's really good that you like your company of several players. Probably the collective mind is better than the lonely one as in my case, because someone can notice some omissions and vulnerabilities in the strategies, and also find a great match to bet on in which the winner is obvious with a good odds. I probably don’t want to try this because I think that in any case, some will begin to express their dissatisfaction and in the end the group will not find consensus and will disband, but maybe this is just my unfounded fears. Yes and No, Since it will depends on the agreement of both parties. Will be yes if we are together in one place and decide to bet on sports that we like then for sure there will be no issue happen with that settings. But if the deal will all verbal and the people sending their money is away then they can't see the activities done maybe I will not participate in this set up since this is prone for troubles and I maybe can't handle the pressure and maybe there will be a relationship will be broken with this bad incident.

So all in all it depends on the situation and always prioritize our safety and avoid any deals that may cost possible conflict since its so bad to lose a friend just because of misunderstandings on the activities done together so always play safe.

If it is a business that I have enough funds to do, there is no reason to partner with any friend. Gambling is based on luck and I have the understand that it is better to gamble with the amount that I can afford to loose so I don't need a partnership to gamble. Gambling is not a business so it is not advisable to join money with anybody to gamble, I prefer solo risk when I gamble so that I alone will take the responsibilities if I loose. I don't see the fun in loosing in a group bet, blames might start to come up between the friends if they were dividend over the team to support and later lost, the group that didn't support the lost game will not be happy.

it is probably not because they are afraid to open an account but what if there is one (or two) of the group had already an account? They can use it instead rather than creating which only takes time to do it. Besides, this is not with the intent of gambling seriously but just making fun with friends.
Betting together with friends is a fun thing in gambling. Win or lose, everyone is happy, and no blaming has been made.

This is better than doing it alone to avoid addiction. Honestly, I take this idea to expose ourselves to gambling especially when we are just new and learning from it. I don't think there is any significant advantage in group betting. For those who are hesitant to make a decision, group betting can offer some advantages. It can lead to a worse situation if everyone does not have the same rules when it comes to such betting. Therefore, before betting, the agreement or profit loss distribution must be clarified. Sometimes after a big win, greed can work between friends, which will create arguments in the future. Therefore, in any such work, one should take part in such betting activities by considering its good and bad aspects.

Group gambling does not appeal to me, especially as an introvert, it will just be a waste of energy, and I certainly understand the negative impact if group gambling occurs when expectations do not match what we get, yes some of the benefits as you mentioned can be considered, but I think it's better to use a personal casino account to do gambling than having to group money and bet.

Sometimes even a very close friend can have a brain if it's about money, especially money with a very large amount, he will always not care about his friend even though he is very trusted and has been in contact for a long time, but that's how money can make someone's eyes closed.

I personally support betting together with friends, especially on sports events. I mean, there are many things that could happen if you do it with a group even with your friends. Money is a thing that could create chaos and sometimes this is where a person could change when he sees lots of money that he thinks might change his life.
Even the most trusted ones could betray you and it's gambling so expect something wrong that could happen especially if you all win your bet.

Betting with friends is fun, especially when they are friends we have known for a long time, it will be quite a fun bet because whether you win or lose, you all share the feeling together - because I had previous experience betting on point blank tournaments with my high school friends, it was a very fun bet because we managed to win the bet. But yeah, again, we have to be able to trust that the person holding the bet is our friend who we have trusted to be able to hold the trust to handle the betting money and divide it fairly according to the portion of the betting money that we have previously shared.

It's a good concept if you wish to have extra fun with friends while watching some games, I have done it many times... Usually with small money, each of us chooses a game or two for the parlay. We never won anything with those parlays, we were close so many times for one game or one goal on each side. That's why this is purely for fun, and we never risked a lot... we never gave more than $5 each. We had some wins only when we were betting on just one or two games max, but as I said it was with some small amounts... we had for a few beers and chips, and maybe some little money left for the next bets.

I can't think of any reason why would anybody do that ?
I get the gambling can be fun with friends but they can just meet and decide which side to bet on and then bet from their own respective accounts instead of betting together.
This way it would be safer and in control of themselves instead of trusting on a single person.

It's a good concept if you wish to have extra fun with friends while watching some games, I have done it many times... Usually with small money, each of us chooses a game or two for the parlay. You are right, but still on the other hand, this can only be done with a friend that you really trust, this is if we are to remove that fact that you guys are just doing this for nothing else but fun.

If for example, your friend called you up and told you that he wants the both of you plus some other persons he wants to bring in; to be putting some reasonable amount of money together to bet on some selected sports game,, and  he makes you understand that this time, it's no longer for fun but it's now serious business, would you still agree to such a proposal of request?, remember you don't know those other guys that are coming in.

For me though, like I've said before, it's OK to do this with a very tight friend, whom both of you trust each other very well.
But when this has moved away from it being just me and my best friend(s), then I think it's no longer acceptable if you ask me.

Yeah, we are in a modern eras and every gamblers have their own online account but when it comes to physical casino, there might be a time when 3 friends might not have the minimum amount to wager on a physical casino (even if the minimum is $1] they might consider the option of contributing a specific amount from each other so that the can afford the minimum wage for them to gamble. And if by any chance they are lucky they mill share the funds accordingly, that's why real friends do.

If your friends can be trusted then there is no problem with doing a joint bet, in factiI think a joint bet creates a greater potential for winning than betting alone, so make sure who you join with and how trustworthy the person acting as the money collector is.
the current season is euro games and I don't miss betting on a single game but i bet alone, if i had a friend i could trust to "combine bet" maybe i would try it once in a while.

But unfortunately, there will always be friends who betray because not everyone can keep their promises intact. Therefore, not all groups or friends are like your friends or circles, because there are many friends out there who take advantage of situations like this to take or take away money and with that, the risk is the destruction of friendship. But yes, it is very lucky if you still have friends like that, because of course doing bets together will be very fun. It doesn't matter about the result, because when we're with friends it makes us feel better.
