However, there is a disputed news about this, as they said that the main is alive and didn't win $4 million as reported,

The casino later clarified via casinos.com that the guest 'had fallen unconscious in the casino, but he is alive and in recovery', but disputed reports he had won sums of up to $4mn.

The victim appeared to be collapsed near a baccarat table at the iconic casino in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District.

So this is fake news after-all, nevertheless, I do agree that sometimes if we get excited like winning big money, we should remain calm as it could put a lot of stress and maybe the next time we read this kind of news, it's going to be real as it gets.

So which one is the actual truth.

This shows how the internet is polluted with fake/false/misleading information so we can't trust anything even if it's reported by popular media outlets.

I too remember such incidents not particularly regarding gambling winnings but people even died due to extreme happiness that happened in the most unexpected way.

Really hard to believed that we heard and read on the internet nowadays, it could be fake news though as it said that the casino itself clarify the incident. However, with all the social media and every individual now has a phone with camera and social media account, the word spread quickly.

And maybe those who pick up the news try to spin it for clickbait article and obviously for revenues. That's bad practice though as there are no verifications whatsoever. Although there could be cases that someone has a heart attack if they won the lottery or something like that, but here, I might tend to believed that this is fake news.

Well sometimes such joy and yelling can actually cause some headache if not serious one maybe mild headache because am certain I have gotten something like that because of the win I didn't even expect but going to extent of actually kicking the budget well that's totally way off. Maybe I feel the person in question in the story is actually not well @medically

I guess this isn't the first time. If I'm not mistaken there was also a more or less similar story that happened locally.

As for me, I haven't won so huge a jackpot yet that I almost can't contain my joy and excitement. But I have won relatively big amounts that I had to give blowouts. I won amounts big enough that I can't keep that away from my mind even before I sleep. Big winnings make me sleep smiling. But when it happens, sleeping comes a bit late too.

It’s sad to hear about the news. Yes, sudden joy can trigger the metabolism and cardiac system of a human being; for this reason, I guess the player had a heart attack, and for this, he passed away. Very sad news and my condolences. And I pray that we all don't experience the same thing as said by the OP, but hopefully we can get the victory that the OP talked about without any negative things that can harm us all.

And I assume the incident that the OP mentioned was most likely because he had to die like that, which may have been determined or outlined by God like that. And many people say, most people die not far from their habits.
And sudden death often occurs with various different stories, it could be due to the disease he was suffering from, especially heart disease which easily recurs and even causes death when he receives very shocking news.

Well, that is just unfortunate. You can say it was a bittersweet experience as he died of happiness. Of course it is a shame that he never got to do anything with his winnings.

Good thing to know that he is recovery but he didn't won the lottery rather anti-climatic ,
but having elevated adrenaline is a real thing tho, the sudden heart pump could cause harm to people with unhealthy living habit and unhealthy arteries. always manage your stress guys and always have medical check up.

If I win a large sum of money, I will feel good and enjoy myself before I will start a big business. This kind of news should only bring joy and not death. I have not heard of or seen any news like this before. Probably the man may be suffering from cardiovascular disease and that news may trigger heart failure is what I guess.

yeah probably already have disease and can't manage the adrenaline, to be fair, winning will get us overflowed with excitement and pumped heart beat,
but i think most people who won such prizes will feel joy tbh, instead of creeping anxiety. no feeling better than finally seeing that our fiancial burden solved instantly
