Upon all the fastness of the Lightening Network the uses (users) are very few. By the right lightening network would have been the best network to be used by bitcoiners but because of it complexity, it is only few use it. You have to look for someone that is using it to connect. It would have been better if they allow everyone to use like normal electrum. And I don't think those casinos using it would have enough customer but using it in a casino might be different from the normal uses of the network. For normal usage maybe people will really find it hassle to use but for gamblers which really want bitcoin still as option for them to deposit I guess they would provably use the lightning network if this is available in their selection. Also if there's an issue happening to the bitcoin network.

I believe not. Because from the casinos viewpoint, they don't care if it's centralized or decentralized as long as the money comes in into their ledgers. Many of the most successful casinos also accept fiat, no?

Plus in whatever form casinos accept Lightning, custodial or non-custodial, it would always be a benefit to Bitcoin because the Bitcoins in the Lightning Network are actual Bitcoins that haven't been settled on-chain yet. Another benefit is using Lightning promotes the use of technologies on top of Bitcoin whether custodially or non-custodially.
